Yes, you're going to get slightly less money than if you sold privately, but realistically is it worth the hassle and worry for a bit extra? It's a fair business model. This way, you're guaranteed an honest valuation, with a simple and secure transaction. I dropped my bike off with these guys this morning, and the guy literally transferred the agreed money directly into my bank account right then and there. I had considered putting my bike on eBay for weeks but after quick search for other selling alternatives found webuycycle.co.uk. I completed the straight forward online form, received a valuation within a few hours which was within £50 of what I was expecting to get from an eBay sale. Dropped the bike off the following morning at their shop in Derby and after a mechanical inspection the money was transferred into my account there and then. Couldn't recommend more highly.
