Last year I sent a card to the same address- it was never received!
This year- I didn't have much hope but decided to try again- Nothing arrived in her -Email until today- 9 days later telling her that it would expire soon. Don't have much faith in your system.

I have been using 123 cards for YEARS- including the name that caused this review- Unless this is a new company (charging a FEE?) I have no idea why it would think that the name provided was not in the system??

Thank you for being a loyal user of 123greetings for many years – and I am truly sorry for the frustration you experienced back in 2021 with delayed delivery and the system not recognizing a name you had used before.
You were right to be disappointed. A card arriving 9 days later, only to tell the recipient it would soon expire, is not acceptable. Neither is the system claiming a name isn’t in the database when you’ve used it for years. That should never happen.
To answer your question about fees:
No, we are not a new company charging fees. 123greetings has always been free to send ecards. We did introduce an optional ad-free Pro mobile app (iOS/Android) for $5.99/year, but the standard website and app remain completely free. You should never be charged just to send a card.
Since your review in 2021, we have made important improvements:
Our email delivery system is now faster and more reliable – most cards arrive within minutes.
We have fixed database issues that caused previously used names or emails to be rejected.
We’ve also launched new email templates with clear sender information so recipients trust the cards more.
If you ever decide to try us again:
Please use our official mobile app for the most reliable experience. And if you run into any issue at all, email us directly at support@123greetings.com – we respond promptly.

So Disappointed!!
I've been using this site for years, specifically because it was always free to send ecards, and I've never been in a position to pay for online getting cards. I am disabled, and pretty much homebound, so this was the perfect way for me to reach out to my loved ones on special occasions. 123 Greetings was the only free getting card site I could depend on. NOW, you've seen to have joined all the rest of the greety, commercial conglomerate card companies. I'm very saddened and disappointed to say I will no longer be able to continue using your service. What a shame. And all for the sake of the almighty dollar! (Especially during this pandemic, really?)

First and foremost: The free service you’ve always relied on is still completely free. Nothing has changed. You can still send beautiful, heartfelt ecards to your loved ones without paying a single cent. We have not joined the paid card companies. We remain a free service at our core.
We are so sorry that something made you believe otherwise. Perhaps you saw information about our optional ad-free Pro mobile app ($5.99/year) and thought that meant the free service was going away. That is not the case. The Pro app is simply an extra choice for users who want no ads – but the free website and free app remain, and they always will.
You are exactly the kind of user we want to support – someone who is homebound, disabled, and uses our cards to reach out to loved ones. That is why we started this service over 20 years ago. We would never take that away from you or anyone like you.
