If i could give no stars i would, but it wont let me !!!!!
Had an accident which wasnt my fault , got a settlement figure , accepted this and when the money was recieved cancelled the DD for car payments …… only to discover from getting an arrears letter for 3 months missed payments from the finance company that AXA hadnt paid them despite the money was there to pay them…… AXA admitted it was their fault that the settlement wasnt paid 3 months previous die yo an error on their part but are saying I am liable for the arrears…… i have NEVER been in arrears in my life and i cancelled the direct debit as the settlement was
made as the car was written off . So i now have to pay near £600 because of THEIR mistake ….. i am disgusted….. a HUGE company like this, who i have been contacting for months and admitted liability for the arrears being their fault to now saying, no its my responsiblity to pay it. Be very careful when using this company as they clearly lie and EVEN when its in black and white admitting liability, they turn it round to making me pay. Told to go to the ombudsman if i wasnt happy……. Shocking customer service

I was Hapoy with policy until I change the car
Policy for new new car was too much more expensive about the other company offer for my.
I have to cancel the policy for my old car were I been charged £52.50 but they don’t give you any refund when you are pay you policy for the whole month or year

Had the misfortune of getting insurance from axa but through a broker One Protect WHAT A BIG MISTAKE ..
I had 14 weeks left on policy but axa wouldn't insure my brand new car for some reason .. I thought i would just pay extra for the 14 weeks. NO ...and told that my insurance was nil and void ...I lost 14 weeks no refund....
DISGUSTING AXA. Shame on you...

I have a significant damp problem under my kitchen floor. Prior experience made me suspect a water pipe leak under the kitchen floor. Contacted AXA on 23rd February 2026, they said to get my own plumber in to identify the problem and then do a video call to assess the damage. Turns out it wasn't a water pipe, but actually a drainage issue (a second report from a drains specialist) sumbitted both reports to AXA, who then decided to send their own drainage people (DASA) to assess (would have saved £1000 if they had done that in the first place). After initial inspection from DASA (which seemed to have identified the problem), they then inexplicably sent a water guy to check for pipe leaks (which we already knew we didn't have), he didn't think he should have been there either. This last visit was on 5the March, since then there have been zero updates, I have spoken with AXA who said they are still waiting for a technical report from DASA. I phoned again today and was told I would get a callback before 5 (still waiting). The drain problem is still not fixed as I have been waiting for the claim to be resolved, so rising damp is getting worse. Looks like I'll have to just get it fixed myself and hope I get reimbursed later.

Looking for a cheaper home and contents insurance and spoke with AXA
After a 30min telephone conversation , they quoted me £2000 .my current provider quoted for renewal £444, I don't have any thing odd/unusual about my property so I don't know what AXA are charging £1600 more for ?
160326, received a reply from AXA and obviously they are defending the outrageous price quote.
However they ended their reply with
'Thanks for choosing us to look after your car'
CAR!!!
Their ridiculous quote is for my home (which is stated. In the above) NOT car.
!!!!!!!!!!
