Contacted Castalan via their website page with our details & a picture of the damage to our sofa. The same form led me to a page to pick a day for an engineer to come out to inspect the sofa. We got a text the morning of the date booked with a time slot. The engineer came in & repaired the damage in an hour & it was done under our guarantee. Very satisfied.

Was sold insurance cover by Sofology and was explicitly told it would cover accidental damage including pet scratches by the sales rep.

Tried to get some pet scratches repaired via insurance and they rejected my claim without giving any detail on why. I feel scammed quite honestly

After buying some quite expensive electric reclining settees, we decided to take out the insurance against damage, which was provided by Castelan.
4 months later our pet cat clawed one corner, so I rang the shop to buy a new corner. "You have pet insurance we will send somebody round".
It took weeks for the visit. Finally the assessor said it can be repaired, we will send out some dye, and when it arrives contact us. Months later the dye finally arrived, and I contacted them, they sent a repairman round.
The repairman said "this cannot be repaired it needs a complete new sleeve, I don't know why they suggested repair".
So, months later we are still waiting.
Complete waste of time, and when the damage happened, I was prepared to just buy a new corner piece out of my own money, but was told that was not an option.
Would I take out pet insurance again ? No, never, waste of money, waste of time.

The person who came out was professional and respected our home. He sorted the problems.p
