FYI - I have the Citibank Ultima MC which is the top credit card Citibank offer. They advertise automatic travel insurance and rental car insurance in the main advertising BUT don’t get fooled because it only covers middle eastern countries!!!
So your rental car excess ain’t covered in other regions!!!

No answer I need to speak with coustomer service

I need the closure email of my card as one of the requirements of my loan from ENBD, they are the only bank who acted immediately and provided me the needed requirements with no delay and any further difficulties, unlike RAKBANK, where I am still waiting for almost a month but full of delay.

No value for customer, reward points were removed without informing the customer the deadline to use the points. Such a pethatic service.

This probably is the worst ever bank that I have dealt with. Indeed called them to cancel my card they pitched in stating they are going to update my card to premium but this card is even more worst

Purchased tickets through Emirates every single bank in the UAE has tie up with 0% interest rate whole we convert this to EMI. But this crap CITI BANK is mentioning that it has interest rate of we convert. During the pitch in order for me to take this card I was false promised

Appalling. Never open an account with them. They are ignoring my instructions to close my credit card account and keep adding fees to keep the account open. They can close the account immediately if it is scammed, but won’t do so when instructed. There are much better options in the UAE. Steer clear of them.

Don't trust any salesperson as I have worked with lot of DSA ,first the sales people will say the bank what they work for is best and once they are forced to leave the company they will say it is a sh**t bank in the world don't take their credit cards

One of the worst banks in AE. Never ever open an account with this useless bank. I opened a Citigold account and had to go through literal torture maintaining a bank account with them. Their website is outdated. Their customer service is totally broken. Hardly any accountability. I was locked out of my own funds for weeks together. Better choices are Emirates NBD or Wio Personal banking, they are much better and professional and easily reachable.

Simply awful service. The worse I have ever experienced. The branch manager is terrible. Do not open your accounts there.

We lost money via a fraudulent transaction. Immediately, we called the bank and blocked the card. After 1-2 weeks, only in the Citi Bank transaction list, it's updated that the money was deducted. This Citi Bank transaction always appears late in the statement. The bank did not take any action from their side. Even Mastercard is one of the worst service providers I have ever seen.

I suggest all of you to NOT TAKE a Citi Bank account or credit card.

I have never used Citi in the US or Europe, but the UAE bank is terrible.

Please beware of Citibank credit card fraud. They will charge you even if you set direct debit method for the full outstanding payments. Never ever take their credit cards. They are fraud.

worst and most corrupt bank in uae. Have been observing them from last couple of months. when credit card payment date is near, all their CDM stops working but same machines are accepting withdrawals. they do this delibrately so that customers misses the payment date and they car charge late fees charges and even tried going after 12 am on payment date, when date changes all their CDM starts accepting cash. They are scamming the customers.

The worst bank in the UAE. I had a fraudulent transaction of AED 8,500 and I informed citi bank within 2 minutes. They said they will do the investigation, wasted 2-3 weeks and later on said i need to pay the amount as they can not do anything. I said at least give me the option to pay the amount in EMI, they said we will charge 15% interest annually..Just milk the customer whichever way they can..Horrible Experience

Although the credit card salesmen are good, the bank rejected my credit card request I don't know why. The salesman stated that I may not paid the credit card bill on time. This happened only one time since I have been using the credit card. This is unfair as my overall credit rating is above 730.

We tried to send some money outside from the UAE, as we need to replace the heating system in our home country.
Money left our account immediately but never arrived to its destination. We called customer service, haven't got the answer.
Then we complained. The procedure requires 4 days. So, at the end of the day 4 we got reply that it's 'still being investigated'
There's no deadline to resolve it. I'm scared to think what would we do if our relatives had real emergency and we're not able to help them.
We have been unhappy for a while with this bank's service. This was the last straw

For every genuine transaction I have to make, I am sent an OTP code, but somehow, 3 fraudulent transactions last week were pushed through without an OTP code, and I am having to spend hours and hours dealing with customer service to resolve it.

As soon as I resolve it, I'll make sure I cancel my credit card, this is the worst bank I have ever signed up to.

Worst bank in the UAE, was reckless with my sensitive personal data, while applying for a new account had all the documents on the desk and this random security guard just comes to the desk and starts reading my personal details! And the staff processing my application at the MOE branch, Mansoor says absolutely nothing! Like it is totally normal for any random person to see customers sensitive information! They mishandled my personal data and a week later I am getting calls from indian scammers. The MOE branch is supposed to be open till 6pm, but they close at 3.30pm! Horrible, incompetent, rude staff, like this guy Mansoor. Clueless about their own products and accounts. Just pushes Gold or Private banking. After seeing how reckless they are with customer data, who wants to be your customer? Shame on you! Complaints deprt did not even read my complaint, equally lazy and incompetent!
