I applied for credit card

I applied for credit card, provided the necessary details, agent was pushing to take higher category I wanted the basic, he was showing disappointment, next day I received an email that the application assessment status is passed, few min later an sms was received that the application is rejected!
I called their customer care to understand the reason they told it is for internal policy, I requested to know more details the agent could nt answer and informed she will arrange a call back frm the concerned department which I never received.

Not worth it

Not worth it, They call you and bug for thr services then at the end without any solid reason they reject it or deny it. No matter how high your income is or how good your Credit report is they still do whatever they feel ok.

One of the worst service experience for…

One of the worst service experience for me from Citibank , PB& even from the branch side also. I was holding the world elite card for almost 10 years and never ever default a single payment and my AECB score is also above 700. Since I was having only one payment and moved the country in an emergency and I called the PB, branch service and even the collection. Apart from that I send several emails also and I am getting a single line message stating that ‘call PB’. All the mails which I am sending is from my registered email id also. Still there is no prompt reply and I will rate the service providing as minus only

Very poor coustumer service

Very poor coustumer service
I was done one transaction 07/06/2023 with citi bank
They put pending, without any information
when call customer care they asked some documents. Same day I submitted the documents. After that they dint give any updation this money not yet recived. I follow up by phone I loose my balance no benefit.

Got to be the worst bank for customer…

Got to be the worst bank for customer service and support in the UAE. Absolutely disgusting how they are allowed to get away with it. I was scammed on my credit card and they weren't prepared to listen or support at all. They are forcing me to pay for something that I didn't purchase and even filed a case against me and blacklisted me with other banks. Outrageous!

Worst bank ever

Worst bank ever! Since 6 months I have been following up to unblock my card and sending all the required documents. But they keep sending *cut copy mail* that they need the same documents again and again!

Worst Bank in UAE and very Annoying representative

If you have rating less than one or choose nothing I would preferred to give 0,

Worst customer service and representative manaerless people, credit card limit was 10k I used 7 k after wards when u went to buy and pay it's decline I was shame infront of cashier very embarrassing, trying to reach out to them for last 5 months why it's happen no one knows.....
Now I want to block my card and everyday 20 to 30 calls from different sources mentally torturing,

Now solution they made card final settlement is 13000..where principle is on 6k in less than 5 Months it's get more than double

Credit Card Refund and Bad Customer Service

I closed my credit card, but there is a credit in my favor. I have been asking for them to refund me directly into my bank account and it has been weeks now. They have still not credited me back and each time they just give me one or another reason. They are just delaying. Impossible to speak to someone who can solve the situation. There is effectively, NO customer service.

Dont Trust CITIBANK UAE

I have applied for a credit card requesting with a limit of 10000 but what I received is with maximum limit that my DBR will allow. So basically CITI bank doesnt want us to use any productions. I called the Sales guy and informed about the same. He said it will be dont the same day but nothing happened from last 4 days. This is very bad in my perspective. If we make delay in the payment by 1 day, will the CITI bank wont lay any late payment charges as I didnt pay by mistake.

Citibank has blocked my account and is refusing to release my funds for over 2 months. Despite several promises by staff that they will release the funds, they have not done anything to help me. I would not recommend anyone to bank with them.

Annoying wire transfers experience!

Annoying wire transfers experiences!
Even with their Gold bank customers; totally unnecessary to have their banking services.
Earlier I sent AED 350 on August 17; kept following up everyday to release it to the beneficiary, after 6 days of stressing between the beneficiary complaining that I haven’t sent him the funds and close follow up with the bank to release it or to cancel the transaction!
Desperately I had to resent the funds using another bank account and requested them to refund the amount which got released after 120 days!!!!
Totally useless bank.
Today for 5th time I have the same issue and I wish they can resolve it before 120 days!
Both of the transfers was a local transfers within the UAE!

No support at all

No support at all, and annoying, non-stop upselling calls. The app and web don't work properly.
Nobody will reply to any email question, and mobile support is automated, totally useless a complete trap, and a waste of time.

Cheated me

Hello

Citi bank credit card sales lady has cheated me.

Before taking the card she has told me I will get cash back dhs.500 after 3 month.

I have to spend minimum 5k every month
For first 3 month.

Now 4 month over when I called citi vank customer care. They said in my card there is no cash back policy.

I feel cheated.

Rogue banking

Plain and simple, Citibank is the most thieving and conniving bank I have ever worked with. I strongly advise people not to work with them for their own sake. Settling the outstanding amount on my credit card, which they, themselves, canceled, was a complete nightmare and it is due to their seriously poor services, your debt goes up by the day. They lack transparency and have no shame in their lack of customer care. Once again, I urge you to avoid doing business with them.

Bad CDM service

I was trying to use CDM machines in city centre sharjah, but the both machines are not working! This is the due date of my credit card payment. Now i came in another location which has huge queue.

This is not the first time experience. The same happened to me before.

Sharjah have only 3 cdm machines??

People in the queue are not going to give good review.

Hope citibank will take care about customer satisfaction

Please don't buy any of CITI products

Please don't buy any of CITI products, they put huge amount of Interest which is more than your installment amount.

I got card for 16500 but i have paid more than 20K till date ( hardly had the card for 5 months)

Worst bank ever, steals your hard earn money.

The worst bank I've had to deal with

The worst bank I've had to deal with. It was the intermediary bank between myself and interactive brokers.
They kept my money for over a month when I tried to transfer and they still haven't responded or even returned my money. This is the Citi bank in the U.K I believe.

Never ever use them. Avoid them like the plague
