Completely incompetent customer…
Completely incompetent customer service. Their shipping page says $20 for next business day shipping, but apparently that’s sometimes 2 business days if it’s after a cutoff. That part makes sense but they won’t admit that they simply need to have their tech team update the order page so it clearly says 2 business days (not 1 business day) if the current time is after the cutoff! Tried to work with them and they made all kinds of excuses to not refund me ANY portion of the shipping fee.

Honestly don’t think I’ve ever received such poor customer service. Updated my new shipping address, their website glitched and defaulted to my original. I tried calling instantly as I noticed it as soon as as the order was placed. Told I can’t change it even though my billing address is correct, as they can’t prove it’s me. Worst still they won’t refund or cancel order even though it wasn’t processed.

Absolutely horrible company to deal with, the website will say there was an issue with the ordering process. However, when you contact their customer support they do nothing but say they are investigating the problem and refuse to refund your pending transactions.

Paire de baskets défectueuse à l’utilisation. Après contact auprès du service client, celui ci indique que le délai de contrôle du produit est de 14 jours ouvrables après réception du produit par leur service retour. Réclamation envoyée le 28/09/2025 et je n’ai toujours pas eu le remboursement du produit défectueux. Le service client joue la montre et ne fait aucun retour proactif. Vous devez relancer de votre côté (ils comptent sur un éventuel oubli de votre part) pour obtenir une réponse qui ne fait pas avancer le dossier : « nous relançons le service retour ». La loi n’est pas respectée par cette société. J’ai déposé une alerte sur le site de signal conso. N’hésite pas à en faire de même.

Bestellung ist nicht im Paketshop angekommen, also beim Paketdienst verlorengegangen.
Durch den Paketshop ist somit belegt, daß mir die Bestellung nicht ausgehändigt werden konnte.
Converse hingegen verlangt von mir eidesstattliche Erklärungen und will nur erstatten, wenn die Sendung an Converse zurückgeht. Ist das noch normal?
Non existent customer service from Converse
Customer experience does not exist with Converse. Had issues with my Shoreline's and reached out. They replied asking for pics, proof of purchase and reason for contact. Provided all of the above and did not receive a response. Waited patiently. Reached out again. Nothing. Despicable. If Converse were not able to assist or if they did not know how to assist, the least the company could have done was to acknowledge my emails. Nothing. Absolutely disgusting behavior for an organization.

Ik draag al mijn hele leven Converse, maar de kwaliteit is zeer achteruit gegaan de afgelopen jaren. Schoenen die bij de lijm laag van de zool snel openscheuren, waar de canvas laag aan de binnenkant binnen maanden kapot gaat, waardoor hard en pijnlijk plastic je hele enkel kapot maakt bij elke stap. En vervolgens binnen een half jaar de volledige zool dus losligt. Vroeger kon ik lang doen met deze schoenen, maar tegenwoordig is een jaar ermee lopen een uitzondering. Erg jammer, het zijn klassiekers om te zien.

Ordered some converse for my Granddaughter. At first I was told being delivered. Then told being sent back as damaged. So I contacted Converse and told them no goods received. Wanted money back. Day later they turn up in a battered box and dye transfer from trainers all over box. They offered me 10% off. No way. Ordered from elsewhere. If they were not a gift I wouldn’t have ordered again. Still awaiting money back. Stuck with trainers with no return label. Jury is out for now on customer services. Will get back to you if they fail miserably. Why do people pay extortionate prices for sub standard goods. I never use a company again if it fails me. Won’t ever purchase from converse again. Only did this time as I promised Granddaughter a pair. If I could put pictures on I would. Very disappointed Converse.
keine Rückerstattung seit Monaten
Auch ich warte seit Monaten auf die Rückerstattung von zurückgesendeten defekten Schuhen.
Erst nachdem ich mich nach über einem Monat gemeldet habe, haben sie die Rücksendung dann angeblich gefunden. Nach einem weiteren Monat habe ich nachgefragt , wann die Rückerstattung kommt. Das müsse erst geprüft werden, ich soll "nach 2-3 Tagen nochmal eine Mail schreiben und nochmal nachfragen". Dann wurde mir gesagt, alles OK, das Geld kommt innerhalb von 2-3 Wochen. Nach 4 Wochen wieder nachgefragt, dann wurde gesagt, das Geld ist schon überwiesen. NAch 2 weiteren Wochen nochmal nachgefragt, dann kam raus, es wäre eine andere Überweisung gewesen, aber man kümmert sich drum, dass das Geld jetzt wirklich raus geht. Das ist jetzt auch schon wieder 4 Wochen her. Heute habe ich eine letzte Frist gesetzt, danach gebe ich es zum Anwalt.

Slow and unprofessional
This is one of the worst customer service and slowest deliveries ever. I ordered a pair of Chucks' and I received them after several days from the due delivery date. I received a message of delivery but the shoes were not delivered. After that, I asked for a refund and was refunded after about 1 month from returning the shoes back and it was a partial refund.

Se avessi potuto mettere 0 Stelle sarebbe stato meglio. Creato account, ricevuto sconto via email, provato a fare l'acquisto e per quanto prendesse lo sconto non mi faceva ultimare l'acquisto. Uscita immediatamente dal sito dopo tanti tentativi e preso le mie scarpe altrove.

Ho acquistato un paio di scarpe CONVERSE DAL SITO E LE HO PERSONALIZZATE, dopo aver fatto l’acquisto ho letto le recensioni e mi sono allarmata e cosi ho deciso di chiamare il sito stesso, mi hanno risposto subito e mi hanno rassicurata dicendomi che il pacco lo avrei ricevuto e cosi è stato, staff che lavora molto cordiale ed educato! Sia per via e-mail che per via telefonica! Le scarpe sono arrivate (nel giro di due settimane QUINDI ABBASTANZA VELOCE)poichè mi è stato detto che ci sarebbero volute 4 settimane. Sono bellissime e consiglio di fare acquisti su converse perché è tutto ok! Arriva la merce al 100%
Returning the item for a refund is a very long process
The issue is not buying from Converse direct, but receiving a refund is the issue.
I have ordered things from New Balance, John Lewis and Next. All refunded within a week and this includes the delivery to the warehouse, processing the refund and then being refunded back into the account.
With Converse the package took 5 days from being picked up and being delivered, to then a further 5 days of waiting with no refund. The message states that the return is being processed still. So I had to contact them via email to ask for what the problem is, and the response given was that the German facilities have not booked the package yet to process the refund. I then was told that it has now been processed because of my email and I have to wait a further 2 to 8 days. This indicates that the returns are done in the EU, but through multiple ventures. The shoes may ship from Netherlands, but they do not process the refunds. It's too many ventures to return something back to get your money back, but they are very quick to deliver.
Converse shoes are great, no issues with them. But if you are going to purchase them your best getting them from another retailer who will supply them. The return process between Next and Converse is stark to say the least.
Rude and unhelpful. Avoid Converse.
Brand new shoes developed a hole within 6 weeks. I contacted Converse Customer Services (Netherlands) with a photo but they replied saying "we're sorry you don't like the style!". Eventually they agreed to provide a voucher as compensation upon receipt of invoice, card receipt, further photos etc. Spent considerable time providing all this but then they changed their minds and refused the voucher but said "have a nice day!". Unbelievably rude and unhelpful. Avoid Converse.

Awful customer service
I was missing an item and the items that did arrive were in a damaged box. Its taken ages to get a refund for the missing item as I kept getting sent the same invoice to sign. Appalling customer service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Will never buy again, quality gone down hill
Have hardly worn my Chuck all star platform high tops. They have been worn not even a dozen times and the back of the heel has completely rubbed away inside, exposing just plastic and rips my heels to shreds whenever I wear them now. They’re just out of manufacture warranty, shock. They’re unwearable now and are going in the bin. Would never get another pair. Poor quality. Waste of money.

Leider gar kein KundenSERVICE vorhanden. Habe die Ware per Expressversand bestellt und nur weil der UPS Fahrer kein Bock hatte die Ware bei mir zu Hause abzugeben sondern direkt zum Acces Point gefahren ist sitze ich auf den 15€ fest. Definitiv werde ich da nicht noch einmal einkaufen.
