Delayed flight ,My son's flight was…

Delayed flight ,My son's flight was delayed from south africa landed in Dubai and 20 min to his connecting flight to Kuwait they didnt allow him in ,he had important meetings, had to attend class online on the same day ,he had to cancel due to delay sat in the airport from 5 am until my visas where issued only at 1 pm this is not acceptable as he was on a 9 hour flight how does your system work is there no immediate visa system, ppl who where with him got they visas by 9 am he sat there waiting for visa to be emailed to him bad service , as no one attends to you better your service to your customers

Worst staff I have ever met

This was honestly one of the worst airport experiences I’ve ever had. It’s embarrassing that an airport claiming to offer a “great experience” has staff who behave this unprofessionally. I had to pay a fine because no one informed me about the visa rules. That part I can accept as partly my mistake for not asking more questions.

But what happened afterward was unacceptable. When I went to pay the fine, the staff member mocked my accent and repeated my words like a child. Instead of doing his job, he was trying to get the phone number of a woman walking behind me, who ignored him.

Then, inside the office, another staff member was watching a football match on his phone while I kept telling them I was late for my flight. They showed zero respect, zero urgency, and zero professionalism.

This airport has some of the rudest and least qualified staff I’ve ever encountered. I genuinely hope management takes this seriously and hires people who actually understand what respect and basic customer service mean—because it’s clearly required for a position like this.

Dubai special assistance, really?

We are deaf, one also with vision impairment. With our last experience at Dubai transferring from arrival to departure gates as scary and confusing in such a large airport, we decided to ask Dubai special assistance service. Did we get the help? In short, No. They advised us to try the airline, Emirates, even though we only want a land service to get across the airport. We are going early February and have to gear up for a blind dash across the airport with a short window to get a flight out. Dubai Special Assistance for what?
Eventually got it sorted by going through the airline, namely Emirates, by requesting a wheelchair! Don't bother with the travel agent or Dubai Special Assistance. So relieved the battles over!

Very disappointing experience with…

Very disappointing experience with Flydubai and DXB Terminal 2. The terminal was extremely overcrowded, with long queues and almost no seating. Food options were very limited. My flight was delayed by about one hour, and I nearly missed my connecting flight. Overall, the experience was stressful and poorly managed.

You have to adapt quickly here, we had issues with bags but it's not easy to find out places on airport specially when staff are not willing to help!

Terminal 3 - sehr zufrieden !

Ich war zum ersten Mal am Flughafen Dubai. Aus Zürich kommend flog ich weiter nach Perth/Australien und 1 Monat später die selbe Strecke wieder retour. Da ich mit Emirates unterwegs war, fand das Umsteigen im Terminal 3 statt. Das Umsteigen vor Ort war bestens organisiert und koordiniert, trotz der Masse an Menschen die zur gleichen Zeit angekommen sind. Daher sind meine Erfahrungen mit diesem Teilbereich des Flughafen Dubai absolut positiv. Das Terminal besteht aus Concourse A/B/C. Concourse B + C sind über einen Fußweg verbunden. Concourse A erreicht man mit einer Bahn von Concourse B aus. Es gibt viele Geschäfte und Restaurants. Auch Raucherbereiche. Saubere Sanitärbereiche. Wichtig für Umsteiger / Transitpassagiere: Auf den Screens immerwieder mal das Abfluggate für den Weiterflug checken! Kurzfristige Änderungen sind immer möglich.

​Be extremely cautious if you plan to transit through Dubai International Airport (DXB).
​We have received reports of concerning experiences regarding transfers, particularly for passengers who may face a language barrier.
​One account details a passenger whose gate was changed (from Gate C to Gate B) with no clear communication or assistance provided by airport staff, resulting in the passenger waiting at the incorrect gate for nearly six hours. The individual, who only spoke Portuguese, was stranded for a total of 20 hours without food or water, and was eventually instructed to purchase a new ticket.
​This experience suggests a severe lack of care and assistance for transfer passengers at DXB.
​If you are transferring through Dubai, please take the following precautions:
​Double-check your flight status and gate number immediately upon arrival, using the departure screens. Do not rely solely on your printed ticket.
​Seek out your airline's transfer desk immediately if you have any doubts.
​Be prepared to advocate for yourself, as assistance from general airport staff may be difficult to secure, especially if you face a language barrier.
​Your travel experience is important. Please plan your transfer carefully.

Slow, Rude and Unprofessional staff

I was waiting for hours to make a report of a missing bag and the staff told me the bag was outside per their system when to check outside it was not there come back the same person that served me said he would go with me and check had to wait over 40minutes until he was available just got him to go outside with me check for the baggage that was not there and go back to make a report not even mention the whole time this person was super rude

On 3rd August around 08:00 local time…

On 3rd August around 08:00 local time in the morning I was transiting from this Airport to Kathmandu from Heathrow. I noticed lot of boarding staff from Terminal 2, Especially who are From Gate F atrociously lacks professionalism. When you address customers it is either Sir/Ma'am or Mr/Miss/Mrs followed by their Surname. You don't call your customers by their first name. Also when we say "Thank you" and you say ," You're Welcome" instead of giving rude side stare. Learn some manners you caveman.
I know lot of my countrymen understands and speaks Indian Language. That doesn't mean we all do. So please for heavens sake stop speaking Indian language every Nepalese comes through your bloody terminal when they say they don't understand you. The most spoken language in the world is English so please start speaking English. I don't know whether Dubai Airport Administration would reprimand these unprofessional staffs, But I hope I have made other fellow passengers aware of this Airport's staffs conducts. If I could in the future I will try and avoid transit through this Airport as much as possible.

Groot vliegveld

Groot vliegveld, maar alles is heel duidelijk aangegeven, zijn er al vele malen geweest, soms ook alleen om over te stappen, maar nooit problemen gehad. Alles is netjes en schoon.

Avoid Dubai airport if you are disabled.

My wife was booked for special assistance, on our layover when flying back to Heathrow from Auckland the support at Dubai was nonexistent. To add to the stress some of the airport staff were obstructive and rude.
Avoid Dubai if you are disabled.

Not a good experience

We have recently changed planes twice at Dubai and we had imagined that it would be a first class experience. It is enormous yet it provides no help or information desks or staff or maps and so you spend ages just trying to find gates, etc. It gives the impression of being a large shopping centre which happens to be involved in aircraft flights rather than the other way around.
I would not look forward to doing it again.

Lack of assistance for disabled people.

My wife booked assistance because she could not walk far and is registered disabled. There was no one at the door of the aircraft to collect her so she had to walk 300 yards before a wheel chair was found. We thought this was a blip but on leaving Dubai, the same happened - we received better service in 3 airports in Thailand. Make sure you demand wheelchair assistance otherwise they just leave you alone.

Mental stress caused by Emirates employees

Before booking my flights to Dubai one of the elements that caused me to book with you was the complimentary shuttle to Abu Dhabi. Having arrived in Dubai, we realized we hadn’t pre-booked. After talking to a customer service worker on the phone she informed us that we could just use our boarding passes to take the bus and the same on return. On the way back to Dubai we arrived at the shuttle bus stop to be informed that this was not possible because our flight was not in the next 24 hours. We were dismissed very quickly and the customer service was some of the worst I have ever experienced. I repeatedly insisted that this is not stated on the Emirates website, and I was not informed of this by the lady on the phone. I refuted the false advertisement and terrible treatment of paying customers. After a 20 minute conversation the employee “Mashar Abdulla” finally agreed with me that it was not stated in the terms and conditions on the website, that I was right but he didn’t want the black mark on his record despite us being in the right. This was very disappointing and much less than I would expect from a representative of Emirates. He very cleverly waited until the bus had left before agreeing with us also. With us being very frustrated with the situation he gave us his word that if we took a taxi or Uber emirates would pay the charge due to their misinformation both on the website and from the employee I spoke to on the phone. It was also a fairer option than taking the public bus which would take us double the expected travel time than with the shuttle bus. We are obviously very disappointed and frustrated over the total lack of flexibility, on your feet thinking and customer care from the emirates staff and also surprised that the service level was so low. Now Emirates are of course refusing to compensate us and more than that the response I received was so obviously a blanket message and the employee clearly hadn't even bothered to read my complaint. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR ECONOMY CUSTOMERS!!

I got deported back to the UK on 25th May 2024 by two immigration officers, when i went back to Dubai, as i overstayed my visa from August 2023-February 2024 which i was not aware of and paid the fine then at the airport on the way back to the UK.

The staff spoke very little english and did not explain clearly how long the travel ban is for and the reasons why i was being deported!!! they also took my iris scan!!😡
I have been trying to find out how long the ban is but have not been able to!! They should have informed me at the airport and given all this information!!

The staff kept telling me to "sit sit"and busy chit chatting to each other and made me wait 3 hours, while they did their checks😡the system is very complicated and difficult to understand and needs to be simplified!absolute joke!!

I bloody paid the overstay fine, so why am i being stopped by immigration and deported when i re-visited!!

Can someone from immigration please get back to me and help, and also explain how long i will be banned from entering Dubai, as this was not made very clear to me!! Too busy chit chatting with women to give travellers all the necessary information required😡😡😡
