Batteries are already leaking / white dust while they are NEW in the package . Date on batteries says 2029, but obviously it is still 2025 and already most of the batteries are leaking / showing the infamous white dust . Batteries where stored dry , dark , in original package , in a normal cool room.
This brand is now GARBAGE .
Always liked duracell with their bunny etcetera , but that is now permanently over ; i will never ever again buy the duracell brand .
Also .....what an enormous toxic waste this company is dumping on this planet with their batteries that already are useless before you could even put them to good use. Obviously this brand lost all its charm and fame. Kind of sad really .

16pk-AA-NOT OPENED, leaked 4 batteries. The package reads "10 year warranty" and is dated 2018, batteries 2028. Stored in a Tupperware bin, indoors in hall closet in emergency kit. I sent them multiple pics when I wrote customer support. Their reply contained "when and where did you purchase"? I can already see where this is going. So disappointing the "#1 Trusted Brand" will not stand behind their product. Apparently, I am not the only sucker that put my faith into a 101 year old company. No wonder the younger generations have a disposable mindset. Even the manufacturers themselves no longer value consumer satisfaction nor perception.

In casa Duracell le cose non vanno per il verso giusto: è la seconda volta che acquisto batterie piatte (prima le CR2032 e ieri le CR 2016) praticamente scariche e, quindi, inutilizzabili.

Ikke eksisterende kundeservice som ikke besvarer kundehenvendelser.

The Duracell was in a flash light and destroyed it when it leaked. I've had issues with these batteries before. I called once and all they did was sending me a coupon. They don't take responsibility about their product and how bad it is.

Vandaag voor de zoveelste keer lekkende Duracell batterijen. Gelukkig was ik er deze keer bijtijds bij anders had ik weer een lamp weg kunnen weggooien!

These batteries have just killed my $650 HVAC leak detector they leaked out and corroded the internals leaving me with a useless $650 piece of plastic, they are the worst batteries I have ever used, so far my personal damage count is 5 3 flashlights one was a limited edition not replaceable, 1 game camera and now a tool I use to make a living with

Over the last 12 months, AAA Durcell batteries in 3 separate devices leaked. After discovering the 3rd leak, I contacted Durcell Customer Care. They thanked me for calling their attention to the problem, adding they will pass on my concern to the appropriate team. In the meantime, I won't be buying any more Duracell batteries.

I bought a battery for my Panasonic camera.
All I can say about it is that it arrived well packaged!
The battery runs down so quickly!!
My old battery charges and lasts longer , it is useless.
I thought it was a reputable company , I was sadly wrong.
Will never use again.

Batteries leaked after 8 years in a dark drawer, controlled temperature. Six still in package, and two destroyed a weather radio. They had a ten year guarantee. After a hassle, they sent me a coupon. The coupon would not work at Walmart. A store manager and 20 minutes of grief finally resolved the issue. Why ad insult to injury? Why not just tell your customers to go to Hell when they call, and end the pain right then ?

Two DURACELL car batteries in two years. The stock battery lasted seven years. WASTE OF MONEY!

Ik kocht 60 batterijen 312 voor oortoestellen waarvan :
* 1 op 3 niet werkt of uitvalt de dag van plaatsing in het oortoestel.
* 1 op 3 werkt MAAR geeft een aantal maal per dag, gedurende de hele periode dat ze werk, het signaal dat de accu bijna leeg is.
* 1 op 3 batterijen werkt normaal.

En het ligt NIET aan de oortoestellen. Als ik de batterijen omwissel heb ik de hinder aan het andere oortoestel.
Gevolg : NOOIT koop ik nog DURACEL, ook geen andere soorten batterijen.
Oef ik begin nu aan het laatste doosje !!!

Not very good batteries as they are prone to leaking. I feel for the Duracell bunny who is probably experiencing acid reflux.

I had a Duracell 9.6Kw battery system installed by Social Energy. From the time it was installed it did not work correctly. I contacted social Energy regarding this problem and they did not try to help fix the problem. They took my money though. I had been contacting them just to get the system up and running but all Enquiries were basically ignored. I find out later that Social Energy went into liquidation. I even sent an email to Duracell Consumer Affairs and supervisor James replied on the 27/03/2024 and asked, where the installation was done and who installed the system. I replied to James email on the same day with the information he requested and what was actually occurring with my battery and I had to resend another email to James on the 24/04/2024 as I had not had a reply to my answers to his questions. I received an email from James on 29/04/2024 making excuses that he did not receive my reply to his email dated 27/03/2024. So the outcome of this email was that he was sending the information on my problem to Duracell Head Office and that he would get back to me when they get back to him. It is now 27/01/2025 and still have had no contact from James at Duracell Consumer Affairs or Duracell Head Office.
What is annoying is my system never worked correctly from the date of installation and I have been chasing every person possible to get my system rectified and this has been well inside the warranty period.
I would avoid Duracell Solar Batteries like they have the plague as they don’t work as sold and the customer support is non existent.

Har i mange år altid benyttet batterier fra Duracell selvom de prismæssigt altid har ligget i den dyre ende.
Men de sidste 3-4 år har jeg gentagne gange oplevet at batterier fra Duracell lækker og ødelægger den elektronik, hvor batterierne var monteret. Og ofte ikke helt billig elektronik. Her i dag var den så gal igen, hvor en næsehårtrimmer (ikke så dyr!) trængte til et nyt batteri. Da jeg åbnede enheden, havde batteriet fra Duracell "igen igen" lækket og trimmeren var lige til at smide ud.
Der er bare IKKE OK mister Duracell.
Køber ALDRIG batterier fra Duracell igen og håber at mange andre heller ikke gør det, før de altså får styr på kvaliteten, hvis de altså kan det?

What pieces of crap these batteries are. A leaking Duracell AAA almost destroyed my entire office master phone module. Luckly, I got a message from the module and I was able to replace the batteries. Both 1 year old had been leaking. Replaced them with Energizers. Good riddance forever Duracell.

I go to Durcell to by battries because they claim to be the best? but i buy batteries for Canon camera they arrive as unbranded (2-Power) batteries which can't be used in Canon charger so now i have to buy a charger to charge them. Can't send them back because to carriers will accept Lithum ion batteries. I could have bought unbranded batteries and a chager online for less. Never Again Duracell

Pathetic at best. They admit that they have a vent that “lets pressure out”. I have had maybe 15 devices corroded / leaked because of their poor design. I write and send photos and their C/S is about like their AA and AAA batteries. In the last 2 months I have “discovered “ remotes that won’t work anymore and open only to find leaked or swollen AA or AAA Duracells well in date . I tell them not to send their “correct usage and storage fact sheet” as I have received it 15 times and do follow all suggestions. The leakers lately have 2025 and 2028 dating. We bought LED candles from Costco that came with Duracell AAs. As my wife opened the battery shrink wrap and it popped and blew “FLUID “ in her face. Called Costco store and corporate, and they could have cared less. I had a $800 set of Bose aviation headsets where their AAA swelled up and I had to get an electric drill and bore down the middle to get it out. I have been buying Energizers and have not had any such problems. I told the C/S at Duracell to rename from Duralock to Corroders . They want you to fill out about ten stupid questions that you have already explained to them to proceed -more run around. Do yourself a favor and avoid damaging your devices and do not but the Duracell AA or AAAs.

Sono totalmente deluso. Premesso che non ha mai mantenuto le prestazioni descritte (una carica di cell, e si scaricava), e l ho usato anche rare volte. Penso di non aver fatto neanche 5 cicli di ricarica. Però si scaricava anche con l inutilizzo, per cui l avrò ricaricato meno di 10 volte. Da più di un anno, si ricarica ma non eroga la sua carica al cellulare o altro. Assurdo.

Testsieger für Batterien die am schnellsten Leer sind. Habe ein 60er Pack Hörgeräte Batterien 312 Gekauft wovon 36 Stück nach einer Stunde Leer waren. Ungefähr gleich bei der Nächsten Packung. Der Hase läuft nicht mehr Weit er steht nach zwei Schritten und fällt auf die Nase. Nie wieder Duracell !!!
