Having never bought a single gallon of fuel using their cards, due to their inability to even get truck numbers correct, I am canceling. The account representative Craig Berdahl is one of the most UNPROFFESIONAL reps I have ever dealt with. When you call me at 8pm on a Saturday night, someone had better be dead. Not trying to upsell me on more products.
I told Customer service to remove him as my account rep, and they said they were unable to, and that I would have to call Craig himself. I asked for his supervisor, who is only availble to employees, and was told he would contact me. Still waiting on that to happen. Been on hold now for 26 minutes waiting on my cancelation confirmation number.
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!

Just called sales to ask them a few questions, he just transferred me mid-sentence. Based on this interaction with two Fuelman employees, we will simply go with a different company. These company is a joke.

Foremost, I strongly discourage considering this company for your needs. They appear to employ questionable practices, such as accumulating unwarranted charges, including late fees, particularly aggravating when their payment system's servers are persistently experiencing downtime. Additionally, one must endure a protracted interaction with their automated phone system for a substantial duration before finally connecting with a live representative, as my own experience attests. The process of closing my account proved to be an arduous journey, spanning over an hour. In truth, I'm not inclined to write unfavorable reviews, yet I feel compelled to share this experience, for the benefit of potential customers who may unwittingly face similar challenges. As they say, karma has its own way of working its course. yes this is a real review yes I was screwed out of my hard earned money. They also mange to get all my reviews taken down.

The cards always had issues from the start. Representatives could not get me logged in to my account for quite a while. Payment processing was a joke. I kept getting passed along to different people told to call different numbers. I just wanted to make a payment! My representative never responded to any of my emails, even when I told him o was going to cancel. Waste of time! Horrible!

Customer service is terrible. Was on hold for 62 minutes, talked to someone about an issue for 16 minutes, then was disconnected. Called back again talked for awhile, was disconnected AGAIN! Made the third call, still can not handle my issue. They will call me back at 3:00pm! We'll see.

After using fuelman, we are way more stressed than just paying with our company debit card at the pump and manually sorting fuel expenses/costs each week. Even with good credit and paying on time, we were surprised to be charged a late fee of $153, because "their system processing time" did not credit our payment on time. I understand companies have different processing times, but $153 for a late fee when it was not our fault? additionally, because of this we were placed in a "level 2 risk" category, which states in the fine print we are charged a fee of an additional $0.30/gal on top of the already high fuel prices. There are so many fees associated with this company, its unbelievable. Now we are running out of tylenol with all the headaches received from dealing with trying to cancel/close the account. If you are considering applying with them do yourself a favor and close the browser, unless you like throwing away hard earned money
Update: decided to close account, reached out to the fake response under this review with no communication on issue. Called customer care 5 times and ironically, the "call drops" as soon as we mention cancellation. Worst business practices ever experienced. Meanwhile we are still charged weekly document fees even though service has not been used for weeks

Never heard back from the email that was sent to that rep as well. Understand business sucks, defaults are high because of the aftermath of Covid 19 but I have a tax ID number and formed a corporation for many reasons including Corp Only. If that’s their new policy it should be disclosed before not after. I understand the loss factor but non disclosure is bad.

I applied for fule and maintenance card. I was told it will be master card could be used in any gas station, parts, mechanics, or oil change. I tried the card it was declined in many gas stations. Didn't work for oil change. Received calls from someone said he was my account manager. He was telling me I'm not using the card enough. If I don't use it every week they may suspend or decrease the limit. After 3 weeks the card stop working. Called and spoke with customer service. They told me they reinstated the card and I can use it. Tried multiple times in different places it didn't work. Called again and told it is fixed. Also tried didn't work. Called for third time they told me it is under review someone will call me shortly. I waited for a month didn't hear back. I called they told me it is handled by different department. Can't transfer me to them and can't do anything to help. So I told them I would like to cancel the card and move on. They transfered me to cancelation department. They lady who spoke with me told me I have to pay any balance I had then send an email. The card was suspended for 3 months. So I had zero balance. Sent the email after about a week received confirmation email from them. Six months after I received a bill for $40. I called they told me the a count is active and that was fleet fees. When I told them the account was closed they asked for prove so I sent the email. The reopened the account without my request after decrease the limit. Don't ever get that card they are scam.

Pretty much the same experience as everyone else. Every month we were charged late fees, high risk fees, monthly billing cycle fees. They would amount to anywhere from $50 to $3,000. I would call every month to question them. Some months I was told that our corporate credit score dropped and some months I was told our payment was late. Our credit score never dropped. Their statement reflected our payment was on time. Every month I would spend about an hour on the phone or on hold with them. I would have to fight with them to get it credited on the next month's statement. I told them multiple times that if I kept getting the fees, I would close my account. It wasn't worth my time every month to fight with them. Finally, after six straight months of fees, we stopped using the cards and closed the account. After two months of the account being closed, we are still getting calls about money we owe. I am still spending an hour a month on the phone with them to get the fees removed from our account. If you use them, check your statement carefully. If you are thinking about using them, don't if you value your time.

If I could give Fuelman a Big Fat Zero Star I would. It's hard to get in your account through customer service, closed my account and they kept it open. It took 4 months for them to closed account. This was in March. I been waiting for my refund since then, and they said it will only take 8 weeks as you can see it is way over 8 weeks. I have called and sent emails no response or answers. NEVER WILL EVER USE FUELMAN. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY OR YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

I have tracked the spending with our company, comparing our receipts from the pump to their actual billing statements. We are charged huge amounts of fees, and they dont tell you that. They claim you get a discount when in all actualities they are robbing you. I am closing our account. You may as well pay at the pump saving the extra expenses. No more FUELMAN! Since Jan (its now August) we have spent almost two grand in fees and charges alone. No more! I suggest you create a spreadsheet and do your comparisons soon before you lose much more money to companies like this.

Update: spoke to representative today about my maxed out account. Explained how my account was messed up. Explained how there systems was messed up to them. Acted like he was gonna help me and waive a late fee(mind you it was there fault) my account said $0 was due. He added another $100 to my account for no reason then took $75 off. So now my account is $25 higher than it was before I spoke to him. These people are crooks. Did it to me right after Christmas and again in mid summer. That is twice this year they have gotten me for over $200 in fees. So I am actually paying double for gas not saving anything. They are corrupt and need to be shut down. Talking to a lawyer today.

This company is full of deceit!! I have has thus card for almost a year and stopped using it 3 months ago. I have checked my account weekly since I've stopped using it and the balance has been zero up until today where u now have a $40.00 bill due tomorrow. It's Sunday and of course the billing department is closed and I'll have to call back. I don't know why I have this balance, as i stated before I have not used the card, and didn't plan to anymore, because they make up charges imo to stay in business. They bill you on trumped up charges then expect you to pay the next day or incur a $75 late charge. Customer service sucks, they sign you up for plus membership without your knowledge and then bill you for it. Like others have stated DO NOT GRT THIS CARD FOR YOUR BUSINESS!! The only reason I have not canceled the card is because it could count negatively against my business credit. I refuse to use this card anymore!! If I find a way to get rid of this account w/o ruining my credit I will do just that!!! Oh and the billing cycles vary from month to month depending on which date the 1st Monday is of the month. Your due date will change every month based on that rule too, which is how they get you with the late payment if you think your due date will be the same every month because it WON'T!! BEWARE!!!

Crooks with a badge to rip companies off with tremendous made up fees. Comdata is Fuelman also. Attorney General Office won’t do anything to this company neither, I wonder why?
