My company has had fuelman fleet card service for a year now. Took 6 months to get set up, which I should have taken as a sign. Since then, we have had atrocious late fees amounting to 30% of your statement balance for being one day late(happened on our first statement which came the day the payment was due). They will charge you $50 to set up ACH and $4.95 per ACH draw. Which in my opinion is ridiculous. We had a fraudulent card charge in April that was reported and form filed within 2 days of the transaction. They forced us to pay it and have yet to get a resolution or refund. Their customer service is beyond terrible. Our last statement had 10% added to every fueling. When we signed up, we were promised discounts, but we have never seen any discount on this program.

Terrible phone system. Finally got through, and trying to ask a question on our account and the rep just hung up. I can't get ahold of anyone? What is there to do except find a different company to work with.

This company's customer service and response time is terrible. I have been battling this company for almost two years now over a refund that was promised to me. Now I can't get anyone on the phone and email responses are few and far. I'm currently on hold now and have been for 52 minutes and counting. I'm at the point now where I'll just have to retain an attorney for a return of a $500 deposit

This company is so shady, they will send you a bill and then after you pay it they will send a different one with a different amount. Then next month you get a finance charge for the amount you didn't pay. They don't do it every month because that would be too obvious. They did it to me twice and now I'm done.

This company is atrocious. They recently cut our billing cycle from one month to two weeks for no apparent reason. We pay our bills easily. As someone in finance, I can say that this likely means the company is experiencing a serious cash issue. Bad sign.
The customer service is absolutely unacceptable. I've been on hold for an hour because their website won't work to allow me to pay.
So, due to this, I received a phone call from their very desperate collections department. The last time this happened, I had already paid the bill and had to explain that. Then I got the same call again the next day.
I would exhaust all other options before deciding to go with Fuelman.

Avoid. I took the advice from someone smuck on YouTube that this was a good starter business card to build credit. However, the entire experience from the beginning has been awful. They are disfuncional to say the least and they don't even report to the credit bureaus. Their customer service is the worst... they hire people that don't know how to speak English and it's hard to understand what they are saying... On top of that they don't know anything about anything when it comes to the account. If you are wanting to grow your business, but want to add problems and fees and wasted time to your business then this is the card for you.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE COMPANY. So many hidden fees & a Per Card monthly charge just for the privilege of having an account with them, even when the bill is paid IN FULL every month. Got fed up so I called & paid the balance due in full on 6/7/23 & canceled the account. Just got another bill in the amount of $49.51 for "additional fees" even though the account was closed on 6/7/23 & hasn't even been used since early May. Took (5) calls & and hour of my time this morning because they kept "accidently" hanging up on me. Can not warn you enough not to never do business with this company EVER!!!
06-29-2023: They sent this lame reply confirming the account is paid in full BUT STILL WON'T CONFIRM THE ACCOUNT IS CLOSED & STOP CHARGING ME FEES EVERY MONTH!!

Just ended a non-productive call with "Danny" of Fuelman. I was charged a $75 late fee for making my payment on my due date of 6/3 (Saturday) and it not being processed until Monday! Not to mention my initial limit of $5K being reduced by half with no explanation. The agent actually admitted to receiving payment on the due date but only offered to reduce the fraudulent late fee! As a small business owner, I cannot afford for this issue to hurt my credit! Please stay away from them!

Fuelman has more hidden fees than you can keep track of. Every time you call in you get a different answer and transferred or hung up on. They do not support their customer when there is fraud on your account. They promise credits and then add fees that cancel out the credit. I attempted to cancel the entire account for 3 wks and they continued to charge me and add fees even though we didn't have any active cards. If you don't want to waste a bunch of money stay away from this company.

Charges exorbitant late fees. They even charged two late fees in one month. I carried a balance of $2171 and the late fee amount was $907 after being three days late.

Got a great credit line then one day All of a sudden my card was locked for no apparent reason. Customer Service said account was closed and had to re apply I was transferred 5 times and no one could give me a straight answer why my account was closed when my payments have been paid before due dates and paid in full ! No warnings no notices ! This Fuel Card is a Joke ! Do Not Use this company

The worst card ever
Got charged late fee, high risk fee ( even when im paying them on time) and had a statement the I was paying for for 3 months even when I pay the balances off and didn't use the cards for 3 months.

Seems to be a pattern. I have been locked out of my account twice now. I called 2 days ago and waited on hold for almost an hour waiting for the "correct department". I asked for someone to call me back as I don't have hours to wait on hold. I was told that was fine and no one ever called back. Just tried again, as now the payment is late. After 30 and being transferred 3 times I was told they couldn't discuss MY ACCOUNT with ME! I don't have the account number because they don't send paper bills. I asked them to send me a final paper bill so I can make the final payment and close the account. SHE SAID NO! This is the most ridiculous business model I have ever encountered. I am trying to pay the bill and can't. Please save yourself a lot of misery and do not use this company.

We stopped using this company several months ago because we constantly had issue logging in to our account. We also make requests on several occasions to send us the form to set up auto payments as this was not available to do on their dashboard. The customer features are ARCHAIC! Often we were locked out and left to wait until customer service hours (M-F 8-5) to resolve issues. For a service business that is constantly in the "Field" that is a challenge. We received a notice of late payment a few days ago and we haven't used the account in over 6 months. We again were locked out of the account. The representative would not unlock the login access, would not let us verify charges, would not send receive a list of charges or even discuss the account. We were instructed that could be provided when the bill was brought current. This practice of holding a customers business credit hostage to collect a debt and denying them the right to validate the debt is UNETHICAL!

I put up a $500 deposit over 2 yrs ago, never did get the approved card. Every time that I call about the refund, I'm transferred around several times to find the account. After the account is found, they say that it will be six to eight weeks to get my refund back. Every six to eight weeks I go through the same run around mention above. I ask to speak to higher person and told there is no one. I am sick and tired of chasing my money. This leaves me no choice but to file a law suit because like I said it's been over two years that they've had my money and refuse to release it . See you in court

We switched credit cards and I needed to cancel my account with Fuelman. They have been very difficult to deal with and refused to close my account the first time I called. The second time I called they verified all my information only to transfer me to someone else who needed to verify my information again and then place me on permahold! I will never use them again.
