Martin in the Barnstaple store was very helpful
When we walked into the Barnstaple store we were greeted with a warm welcome from Martin . He just gave us advice on the sale and left us to it without being pushy . When we had decided on our purchase we when a got Martin and he very quickly sat us down and ordered the furniture . He advised on the delivery date and it was all very simple . A great experience all round .

We had a really positive experience with Ryan when purchasing our sofa. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and approachable without being pushy or making us feel pressured into making a decision. He gave us the information and advice we needed, answered all our questions and allowed us the time and space to decide what was right for us. Kenny offered me tea and coffee on entrance and then let us walk around to have a look at what we wanted. When we had taken. Walk around the store Kenny came back to help us with our questions and built our sofa to what we required. fab service and recommended.

Tim was attentive without being pushy
Tim was attentive without being pushy, he didn't follow us around as so many salesmen do.
He had a professional but friendly approach with a personal touch thrown in.

Really poor
Really poor. Ordered a Bench 30th August 2026, the website showed it as in stock. Ordered and Paid. No communication about delay in delivery, had to email to find out when it would be delivered, they said stock not available in their warehouse until end of October 2026... as its stands no 31st Oct 2026... still not delivered or received any communication to say when its going to be delivered.

When looking for a sofa for my mum ended up buying one for myself too.

After being recommended by a friend
After being recommended by a friend, I went to the Barnstable store today, after being disappointed with a few furniture stores on my quest to buy a new sofa. Entering the store I was greeted very nicely by Martin. He just let me know where everything was asked me what I was looking for pointed me in the right direction and then left me alone only to return to offer me a cup of coffee, while we browsed. Also letting me know about the 20% promotion that was current today The really nice refreshing thing I found about the store and the staff is that they were very friendly they helped when they were needed but left me to browse without pressure . They were very thorough with their descriptions when I asked a question and very helpful when I finally chose the perfect sofa.
I would recommend this store to anybody wishing to look for furniture. It’s very neat very tidy well stocked and excellent prices for quality furniture. Now all i need to do is to wait for my new Sofa to arrive. Thank you Martin and your team you made what I thought was going be a nightmare in morning pretty relaxing and easy
