Gateway Manage the Weston Homes Laundry Works Watford.

They have managed the site for nearly two years, put up fees by 15-17% annually.

Fail to empty bins, manage social housing tenants, fail to ensure fire doors are compliant, fail to fix door entry systems, fail to hold Weston Homex the developer accountable for new build defects and illegally pass on costs tk lease holders. Manage to waste money on sending all communications by post using very expensive paper. Manage tk gave a legal team to quickly send threatening letters and over charge legal fees for minor changes like a change in tenant, they will charge £180 to update records that should be a five min admin task.

They have left the whole complex with multiple buildings this weekend with no internet and in one building no communal power for critical infrastructure like fire systems due to an unpaid bill for services used by Weston Homes when they built this development.

All avoid either of these companies as they are just white collar criminals.

Today our building experienced an electricity outage, which also left us without internet and security systems. We have been informed this was due to an outstanding bill left unpaid by Gateway.

After residents have paid significant amounts to this management company to run and maintain the development, it is completely unacceptable that we are now facing a lack of security and internet because of poor management.

Please don’t be misled by the fake positive reviews. What has been happening in our development recently is unbelievable, and residents deserve far better than this.

This review is not about Gateway as a company but is about Kane Tomlin ( the safety door inspector). Kane was professional and Helpful throughout, he spoke through actions and what he was doing. The visit was quick and efficient.

We have been forced to use Gateway as our new build estate management company and have found their service to be terrible. They have taken on the estate prematurely when it wasn’t yet finished by the builder, work that has been promised to be done by them and the builder hasn’t been done leaving residents to take it upon themselves to have to maintain areas themselves. They add additional charges onto billing if you are disputing the service they are providing and the staff constantly fob you off.
A recent site walk around was very unprofessionally handled and organised for a day when they were hoping many people wouldn’t be able to attend and try to manage a site from 100’s of miles away.

Leaseholders are entitled to know what they're being charged for. I received an extra charge on top of my service charge, justified only in broad terms, and when I asked for specifics I was told the question would be referred onward — while being reminded the invoice was payable immediately. I paid in good faith and have heard nothing since, including after chasing. A separate repair I reported remains outstanding. Poor communication and no accountability once the money is in. It`s been 15 days since I asked for clarification and I heard back nothing...This is purely my opinion!
