Recently, I visited the Burton on Trent service several times, and I'm very upset with myself that I didn't find these guys before. It would have saved me a lot of money and headache because their service is nothing less than amazing.

My first visit was planned for a major service of my 3L diesel Jag and an MOT. Once I arrived at reception, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a friendly attitude. I mentioned that a few months ago another garage had changed my brake pads, and since then, I'd had a small brake fluid leak. I also mentioned a squeaky noise coming from the front driver's side. The result: the major service was done quickly and, more importantly, professionally. The guys discovered that the pollen filter holder had a crack, which they fixed. They also exchanged a poorly applied silicone seal for a proper one, repaired the brake fluid leak, and fixed the squeaky noise from the front driver's side. And the price? They only charged me for the service and MOT – wow! Nothing extra.

My second visit was actually the next day. My MOT report mentioned that the rear tyres were close to the legal limit – which wasn't a surprise to me. I came in again and was welcomed just like the day before. We had a discussion about which tyres would be best, and I ordered a set of new ones. The price was cheaper than anywhere else in the area. The only issue during the fitting was that one of the locking wheel nuts snapped, which is apparently not uncommon for Jag owners – they snap easily. The guys recommended that I buy some proper wheel nuts that had good customer feedback. I bought the new ones, came back, and surprise, surprise, they changed them for me immediately, free of charge.

As I said at the start, I'm upset that I didn't find these guys sooner.
They aren't focused on making every single pound from you; what they are focused on is having happy customers who will trust their work and return every single time service is needed. If you want a hassle-free and professional experience, this is the place. Looking for anything else would be your mistake.

Absolutely Brilliant garage the guys are great in here and they really take care of you.The prices are Very fair and very reasonable.The garage itself is very tidy and clean they also have free WiFi if you need and a warm seating area whilst you wait l recommend this place 100% if you want looking after.

Kev at the Burton centre was really helpful and gave me a lot of good advice! The guy certainly knows his stuff! Very very good price for the MOT, only £29.99! I really like this MOT station because they are there to help you out and not rip you off. The mechanic who tested my car gave me really handy advice on how to resolve my advisories. Not many MOT stations take the time to talk to you and help you in this way!

Had to give one star as can't give zero. Hi Q Burton Trent. Booked on there website for tyres,all confirmed by email, I turned up and they had no booking for me, no tyres in stock in my size so they ordered them whilst I was there and booked me in for the following Saturday first thing 8:30. I turned up 8:30 the next week and the garage didn't even open it's doors, no staff there, all locked and dark. I waited for half an hour to make sure the open time on a Saturday hadn't changed, nothing. Shower of s**t. Won't use ever again.

I took my car to this centre for my yearly MOT and was again unsurprised by the amazing and friendly service from Shane and James. Absolutely zero delays getting the service done and was provided with any needed advice afterwards. Overall amazing.

Oh my goodness what fabulous experience I had today! My car needed a M.O.T. which it failed. Shane and James went over and above what was expected to repair the issue. The car was then retested and passed. I depend on my car for my role as a community nurse. Certainly would recommend Hi Q to all! Many thanks

All staff are very professional, kind, respectful. The work carried out on my car was exceptional, they went above and beyond their job role to enable the work on my car to be completed in a given time scale. They are an ecceptional team. I can not thank them enough for their kind compassionate assistance to me, due to having a physical disability. I Highly recommend this company for their excellent workmanship and their Customer service.

Excellent service, Jay and Shane managed to salvage a part during repair and they passed on the saving where a lot of companies would replace it regardless. Very trustworthy company.

Had a nail in my tyre just before Xmas. Tyre was sourced for first working day after. Sorted out within the hour that day at 9.00am as promised. Excellent service, polite, courteous staff who helped me with tyre. Competitive pricing. Would highly recommend and use again

I Cannot speak more highly of the team at HiQ Burton Upon Trent! The service I received for my BMW Z4 was absolutely awesome. Jay in a few minutes had the wheel off and had a good look round it. Two nails had gone through it so a new back tire was required. It was ordered and fitted very swiftly and they went above and beyond dropping me off to my place of work round the corner so I wouldn't have to walk in the rain. Top service and really nice professional guys. If you want old school quality service and no upselling then these are the people for you.
