Unbelievable bad courier service
Putting 1 star because zero stars is not possible. My package was out for delivery for 5 days. Every day, its goes back to the warehouse and gets re-sorted to go back on the truck the next morning for delivery to again not deliver the package. Does this company know how to plan for package delivery? Called customer service every night we no change. stay away.
During the Canada Post strike we used Sendle
Sendle who deals with ICS Courier for deliveries.
While it was helpful to have a delivery method during the postal problems, there are significant issues and flaws with the service that make it very not useable for retail and business purposes where transparent tracking and timely delivery are necessary.
The Number 1 problem with Sendle and ICS Courier is, as stated above, the lack of transparent tracking. A parcel can have - and usually does have - multiple carriers when sending via ICS | Sendle, including an initial freight handler that deals with ALL parcels dispatched. A customer and seller will both receive a "delivered" notification when only the freight handler or one of multiple carriers involved receives the parcel yet, the item is not "delivered" to the customer and they are confused. You have to message into Sendle directly each time to get all the latest tracking numbers and then communicate these constantly to your buyer.
The Number 2 problem relates to claims and insured coverage. When a parcel is lost in transit, Sendle | ICS does not easily refund - in my case never refunded me! - the shipping or insured value for parcels they lose in transit. In our case, they wanted an Affadavit of loss even though they had the buyer email, the buyer's confirmation of non-receipt of goods and the online invoice showing sale value. I will never use them again. When I try to work with Sendle about the issue, they tell me the full amount is owing as "services rendered". However, when the service was not delivered to the customer and the item was either lost or returned to us for no apparent reason we do not see that the services were rendered and will not pay for unrendered services. Sendle is inflexible to work with you to resolve the bill and continues to state their services were rendered.
Is ICS a scam?
My order was placed on October 4, 2024 and was "In transit" as of October 8, 2024. I'm still waiting. I contacted customer service but have heard nothing back. The expected delivery date is pushed one day, every day. I've been watching this since the middle of December, but I believe it has probably been happening since October. I send customer service a screen shot every day with the revised expected delivery date. They still won't contact me.

I am still waiting for my parcel that was sent out on Jan. 6th from Toronto. I live in Windsor On. Normally this should take 2 days max. Well it's Jan. 14 and still nothing. On their website it shows out for delivery dated Jan. 9.
Someone walking from Toronto to Windsor could do this faster!! This company is a disgrace and should not be in business.
Using ICS is a bad idea
My order was sent out by the vendor on December 18th from Ontario. It is now January 8th and I'm still waiting here in central BC. Since December 31st, the tracking keeps going revolving through these updates "processing/sorting Surrey, in transit, processing/sorting in Surrey, in transit,...." repeat. The delivery date keeps getting pushed later and later. I was expecting the package to arrive today as per the tracking for the last few days BUT when I checked again this morning, it now says the expected delivery is tomorrow. I'm not convinced that it has left Surrey yet!
I'll be contacting the original vendor and recommending they find a better company to ship items in the future. I just hope my package actually arrives, but the other reviews are not giving me much hope.
Package not delivered
Waited and waited for my package. Eventually called Customer Service only to find out that they can't deliver my package to my location in the winter due to roads. They wanted me to pick it up in person, but their warehouse is an hour drive away and only open M-F 8a-5p, during my regular work hours. They sent the package back to the sender.
1 star is generous
1 star is generous and only because my package did eventually show up after several weeks. When they did deliver my package it was completely covered in mud, I had to open it in the bathtub. Once I cut open the plastic bag there was mud and water inside the package. The only reason my items were not damaged is because they were individually wrapped. It must have been completely submerged in mud and water.

If i could get no stars I would!!!!! EVERY time i schedule a pick up for my business they NEVER show up and they are the kings of lying!!!!!!! Call and ask where driver is and if you call 3 times, you will get 3 different answers. I would rather walk a package myself then use these clowns!!!!!!!!
worst of the worst
same thing they got my package on december 6th. its out for delivery since the 10th. sometimes it goes back to dorval. today is the 29th and the sender just decided to ship again via canada post. also do yourself a favor and dont call them its not worth it. they promise all sort of deliveries and supervisor callbacks but obviously nothing.
I think this company is a front dealing in stolen goods or something.
theres no way you’re that terrible in your principle area of service.
The worst courier service company
I firmly believe that ICS is the worst courier service I have ever dealt with. Their delivery times change daily, their customer support is incredibly poor, with representatives who are difficult to understand and provide vague information about the delivery process. On top of that, their online chat system disconnects every time I try to use it.
Horrible Horrible Service
Without doubt - the worlds's WORST courier service. They leave a note on my door that they missed me, while I was at home. That was on a Friday. Till Tuesday, there's still no sign of them. No local number to contact them. They have only a 1-800 number that puts you on hold for a loooong time.
Don't know why a business like TD uses them when they (TD) can well afford much much better courier service. Hope this ridiculously horrible company slowly stops getting customers and then just fades from memory. That will be the day.
The level of incompetence is infuriating
I am beyond frustrated and completely livid with how my package has been handled by ICS Courier. On December 16th, their driver falsely claimed I wasn’t home, when in reality, I was at home all day waiting for the delivery. This is not the first time this has happened with this useless courier. Their service, if you can even call it that, is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
I called customer service that afternoon, and was told a second delivery attempt would be made. After waiting an entire day and a half, no delivery was made. When I checked the tracking system, it showed that my package was still sitting at a drop-off center.
On December 18th, I went there in person, wasting 20 minutes in line, only to be told my package wasn’t there. I then spent an hour on hold with customer service, only for my phone to die before I could even speak to anyone.
On December 19th, I called early and was on hold for 30 minutes, only for the agent, Natasha, to hang up on me! I had no choice but to email and request an escalation. I called again that afternoon and spent another hour on hold without getting through.
I decided to call early on December 20th. After waiting for another 30 minutes, I was connected to Natasha again. I insisted that she escalate my call to a supervisor, as I had not received a response to my previous escalation request. She informed me that a supervisor would contact me within 24-48 hours.
When I asked, Natasha confirmed she was the only agent by that name. Given my lack of trust in her ability to address my issue, especially after she hung up on me the day before, I made it clear that I didn’t want her help. The level of incompetence is infuriating.
As of December 23, I still haven’t received a callback from a supervisor, nor has there been a second attempt to drop off my parcel.
Avoid at all cost
Website support chat is broken and the customer service phone number is around 1hr wait to talk to someone.
First time I called I was told my package would be there at 3pm. Then second time I called I was told my package would be there by 6pm and I was GUARANTEED it would arrive today. Then I called a third time and I was told there was no more deliveries today and they would TRY to deliver it this week.
Update: Yesterday after waiting almost 1.5hr on phone I was told they communicated with the warehouse and that my order would be 100% delivered today, they added that I would even get a text message once the truck is close. Sure enough I didn't get my package and never got the text message.
Here's what's happening: if you live near the end of their delivery route, they might never reach your house. Once it's 8pm they stop deliveries and your package is sent back to the warehouse where it stays there for a full day before being shipped again. Then you're still in the back of the truck and unless they have less deliveries, they will never reach your house and you will never get your package.
The customer service will keep lying to you, guaranteeing you will get your package today but it's a blatant lie.
Horrible service
My package has been out for delivery for 4 days and customer service has been less than helpful.

If I could give it zero star, I would. It's been out for delivery since 7 days ago and still counting. I have paid for Express shipping and it was suppose to be deliver within 2 to 4 days. It was very fast reaching Ontario to Quebec the next day. However, it was been loaded onto the truck, and sort back to the warehouse and upload to the truck several times. They can not handle the backlog from this festival season.
Called several times to their customer service and waited more than 20 minutes to 45 minutes. Called in different times of the days and still no answer. Also, no email replies on several attempts.
If the backlogs are too much to handle, please do not lied about the time frame for the Express Shipping. Hire more drivers to accommodate the backlog from Canada Post Strike.
I will never used their service again. You lost me as a customer forever.
Use Uni Uni, they never lied about their delivery time frames.
Update : They received the parcel on December 10,2024. Still no delivery and update as of December 23,2024.

Bought a parcel with express shipping…
Bought a parcel with express shipping which on tehir website is said to be 3-5 days. It's been 10 days and the package hasn't even left the warehouse it was dropped off at. When I tried to email their customer service, I got no response after a week. Tried again and still no response.
only 1 delivery attempt, no call, no pickup option
If you thought Canada Post would be bad, you clearly didn't meet ICS Courier. They return a bunch of packages without a second delivery attempt, without calling the recipient (number is on the label) and without giving the recipient a pick up option. If someone is in the bathroom for 5 minutes, and ICS wants to drop off this exact moment, your package will definitely be shipped back to the sender. Completely ridiculous business model. Sometimes going cheap is a very bad choice.
Joke of a Company
My package was out for delivery and delivery was never attempted. It has now been sitting at the sort facility to be processed for 3 days with literally no update. Also it is impossible to reach a person with customer service. Doesn’t help that their store hours are 11am-2pm weekdays.
Package always returned to the ICS Branch
My package as been out for delivery and returned to the ICS Branch 6 times (for now) on the tracking with no delivery attempt, unable to reach customer support to know what's wrong.
Shit speed, shit service
Two days in a row of package picked up. Even though Canada Post is the normal carrier for this company I ordered from, I expected better service.
Live chat is an AI bot that won't connect to a live agent despite saying it is. Just closes the conversation.
