I was very impressed with the support of the team at Litelok over the phone and the prompt work to resolve a web bundle pricing issue. I was also impressed with the very fast delivery service (from the UK to Calgary, Canada is a few days). Although the locks are heavy, I do like the quality (fit and finish) and the functionality of the locks. It's especially convenient to have the same keys for both locks. Despite the high price these locks are a great investment to protect an expensive bike investment.

Great product, to sum it up in a few words "Litelock X1 gives you piece of mind, yes you pay a premium price but for piece of mind it is worth every penny.

I bought this lock over a week ago after watching countless videos, reviews, and recommendations claiming it was one of the best motorcycle locks on the market. Unfortunately, my experience has been very different.

First of all, the delivery was disappointing. The lock was supposed to arrive earlier, but the delivery date was missed and it was ultimately dispatched when the company decided, with little clear communication.

The biggest issue, however, is the lock itself. None of the videos mention how small it actually is. On my Yamaha TMAX, the LITELOK X3 does not fit properly through the front wheel. In fact, I have to let air out of the tyre just to make it fit, which is completely unreasonable for a product at this price point.

The promotional videos show the lock being placed through the wheel spokes, but that is not the same as properly securing the wheel. If a thief damages or cuts the spokes, the lock can potentially be removed much more easily. The marketing creates an impression that does not match the reality I have experienced as an owner.

After trying every possible way to use it, I believe the lock is simply too small for many motorcycles, and this limitation is not clearly explained before purchase. Considering the high price, I expected a far more practical and versatile product.

For Yamaha TMAX owners, I would not recommend this lock. It is expensive, too small for certain applications, and does not live up to the expectations created by the company’s marketing and many of the videos available online.

This is my honest experience as a customer. Had I known about these limitations before purchasing, I would not have bought it.

Shortly after getting this lock i had a four day tour in Scotland. My X1 plus easily went through the front wheels of mine and my friends bike locking them together, which obviously makes the bikes more secure than a disc lock which i have always used in the past. My friend is impressed with the lock and he is going to buy one too."

Consider to get something powerful and protective lock. After few bike theft around my area decided this is the one. Funny enough few day later someone tried to steal my bike from work, but I believe they didn't tempt it to touch because of the lock it has.

"X1, bigger than expected, but wow it's quality! Combined with a chain on the other wheel, this should help deter the "tea leaves" It certainly makes me feel better knowing it's on and I'm definitely going to hear them if they try cutting through it 😉"

I had been looking for additional bike security and had read lots of good feedback re litelok. Ordered, delivered quickly and impressed by the quality of the item. Great service and now have peace of mind for the security of my bike when out and about. Great service aldo

Great company to deal with, very quick delivery and such a quality product, why buy a bike worth thousands and put a £10 lock on it?
Buy a LITELOK and have that peace of mind your bike is safe...

This is my second one of these locks, and i take it everywhere, there is no doubt in my mind when i leave my bike places that it is going anywhere when i have this attached. Couldn't recommend more

Customer service is also second to none, Ben was the guy I dealt with and he sorted my issues out in half an hour.

Seen the advert on Facebook looked it up on YouTube seen the reviews and decided to buy one for my ebike when you spend £2,500 on a bike you want something you can depend on and so far the litelok x1 lives up to what it was made for . I will be buying another one when my other bike is delivered

I purchased a lighter weight lock from litelock for an electric scooter. Initially, I received the wrong item. I contacted litelok support and Ben corrected the mistake immediately! The lock is made out of a very light material that is still hard like steel. I am somewhat familiar with cutting tools and I can tell that the material these locks are made of will "resist" (not stop) cutters because the material is smoother than steel making it difficult for a cutter to bite into it. Also It has a solid locking mechanism that is somewhat inaccessible to a cutter. A completely innovative approach to combating thieves here in NYC. Cheers Litelok

I recommend this for any bike owner. The peace of mind it brings by having it is great. I feel safer leaving my bike locked at supermarket car parks now. Even a quick in and out without this lock on my bike wasn’t safe.

It feels like a local friendly company to deal with.
The litelok I bought was an x1 moto. Its great quality and has a rubber coating so it doesn't scratch your bike. It comes with a pouch but I would like the option of a tougher bag with d rings or velcro straps to be able to fix to my bike.
The x1 moto fits the front tyre of Harley-Davidson Street bob can also fit through mag wheel and drive pulley at the rear."

I own an X1 and an X1 mini, for home security, travel convenience and a back-up in case of any attempts, and I’ve gotta say I couldn’t be happier, and more confident when leaving my bike unattended. That, plus the customer service is second to none… Litelok come highly recommended by me!

The angle grinder-proof-ness-ability of these locks have been well sold and demo'ed in their videos online, so I was sold on this lock. However, what I want to shut about is how usable the thing is. I was fully expecting it to be a hefty lump of lock as a trade off for having something so secure. This is not the case! Its significantly lighter than the previous, far less grinder-proof, steel shackled lock I was using. The price is steep but fair, and its well worth checking with your insurance to see if having this beefy bad boy will affect your premium, as mine was reduced by pretty much the cost of the lock. So it paid for itself!

Website informative and easy to navigate. Ordering process simple and straightforward. Fulfilment was also quick and the product was well packaged.
Already have the Litelock x3 and the added this to the arsenal for piece of mind. Small and lighter but no less robust just complements the layering of security with a disk lock. Fits nicely into small tail bag without compromising any space. Simply, why wouldn’t you!

I’m new to the cycling world and had an e-bike for Christmas. I bought a standard U-lock, but decided two locks would give me a bit more peace of mind after hearing all the bike theft scary horror stories.

Someone at work recommended Litelok, so I went for the X1 and I LOVE it. It feels very solid and is a big deterrent to opportunist thieves. But it is still easy to use and not too heavy to carry around.

I also contacted customer service recently with a couple of questions and they were brilliant - really quick, personal and helpful (thanks Ben).

It’s also nice to support a UK business (and a Welsh one!). I really like their sustainability values as well - even their factory is solar powered.
