we attended a sales luncheon for MASA. Don't...

we attended a sales luncheon for MASA. the presentation itself took over an hour of endless details That would have been a more effective if it had been condensed to 30 to 45 minutes max. but the worst part was when lunch was over and the three sales associates split up among the tables using some pressure sales tactics and could not take any answer but yes to the highest priced way to buy. after we finish ed talking to that salesperson week, spent a few minutes talking together about the program when the leader of the group came over and absolutely would not leave us alone to the point of an uncomfortable experience with the whole lunch including following us out the door saying. have a nice day with a sarcastic edge to her voice. The whole experience seemed designed try to take advantage of older adults who might be susceptible to strong arm tactics. Worse than bad car salespeople.

Impressive

I’m impressed so far with the amount of information provided to me fully outlining my coverage. Like life insurance, I’m hoping I’ll never need it, but should the “opportunity” arise, I know I’m prepared.

Well worth your time.

Very easy website to use. Simple and clear instructions and I received my information and wallet card just days later. The small amount per month is well worth it to me as I am disabled and usually use an ambulance at least twice a year. This covers so much more and is something that us older Americans really need, especially if we live alone. Thank You!

I truly believe that every family in America should have the protection of Masa. I was lucky enough to have Jason Morse as my presenter and it was treat, I would highly recommend you attend a seminar and get this product.

We were invited to attend a seminar at a local restaurant . Speaker was very energetic and knowledgeable, and explained all the benefits of the product. They offered many different plans with different durations. If my circumstances were different, I would consider it to be a very good idea to join as a member.

My company representative was Marc Burkhalter

My company representative was considerate, giving personal attention to those who were interested in procuring this type of insurance. He explained all the benefits and payment options, and addressed all my concerns. Signing up was a pleasant experience.

BEWARE!

BEWARE!! High Pressure sales tactics designed to intimidate vulnerable senior citizens into signing up at the luncheon seminar. Tommy Bennett is representative in the San Antonio, Texas area. Please beware!! I will be reporting this company and their representative to the local media and the local authorities. What a shame to intimidate and pressure seniors who want to do their due diligence before signing and committing their hard earned money. BUYER BEWARE!

Rude presenter

my wife and I attended a presentation on 3-18-2026. We were very interested but wanted to do our due diligence before committing. Brady asked my wife if she was going to sign up and she told him she was going to think about it. He turned to the entire room and announced in a loud and snarky voice, “she’s going to THINK about it”. As we were leaving he told us that he had given us the information, he had fed us, and that he did not know what else we were going to learn by thinking about it. Sorry, MASA.

MASA seminar

Today I attended a MASA seminar at Red Lobster. The company had sent me a postcard to attend the presentation and enjoy a free lunch. The presenter, Mr D. Brady, did quite a good job presenting all the scary stories about the possible thousands of dollars you would be responsible for from having a medical emergency that would require air or ground transportation to a hospital. He was somewhat argumentative with one gentleman who was asking some pertinent questions, and I found that off-putting. I happened to be seated at a table with 3 other women, one of whom had been to a seminar in December. She stated that she was having a problem with them billing her and that she had tried repeatedly to contact the company by phone to no avail. That, of course, raised a red flag for me. In conversation with the gals I mentioned that I noticed that the MASA literature we were given included the words Emergency Shield Plus. I told them that I recently extricated myself from receiving services from a company calling itself Legal Shield that also misrepresented itself as a legal firm. You know, once bitten twice shy. The cost of the MASA service is pricey but they promise you everything from soup to nuts. Since my red flag was already up, I went home to do a little research on the Internet and on Trust Pilot. Lo and behold I found many positive comments from folks who attended the seminars and free lunch. But I also found some not-so-positive comments from folks who actually tried to use the service. So, that really clinched it for me—of course coupled with the sour interaction between the presenter and the lady at my table who couldn’t reach the company about her billing. I looked up MASA on the BBB website and read numerous serious complaints that validate what the lady at the seminar told me today. There were also complaints that services were not provided as advertised and refunds not issued. I also had an interesting conversation with ChatGPT about my current Medicare advantage plan and the affordable co pays for emergency and non emergency for ground and air ambulance service. It appears that my current insurance and close proximity to the hospital, and non risky lifestyle do not present a real need to expend an additional $500 per year for the MASA services. So, do your homework. Read the 1-2-3 star reviews on Trust Pilot and the BBB complaints before you let the moths out of your wallet.

A very informative health care…

A very informative health care presentation and discussion.
It was clear from the beginning Masa was going to be a “must have” in terms of helping us avoid costly ambulance bills. The added benefits of Masa Emergency Shield + cover both family members and visitors. No sales pressure was a fresh relief!

Important for Financial Security in an Emergency

The information given at our meeting was very good. It was enlightening to say the least and I am glad I have coverage in case of an emergency. It only takes one moment to change your financial circumstances forever. One emergency air flight can wipe out any savings the average person may have. I'm glad I am a lifetime member of MASA.
