I first used this company in May this…
I first used this company in May this year to hire a Rise & Recliner chair to use at home for a few weeks. This was to assist with my recovery from having a Total Left Hip Replacement.
I honestly can’t thank them enough, the Team were ALL fantastic from start to finish. Mark delivered and collected the chair and was so polite, considerate and helpful on both occasions. The chair was such a help that I ordered my own one through the company which was made for me and recently delivered. Cerys was super helpful with arranging this for me and nothing was too much trouble. I kept her very busy with all of my questions via email.
A very good company that I would not hesitate in recommending to anybody, thank you again.

Bad policy and no refunds
Well order bed for my mum to come home to die but didn't make it never used the bed paid £635 pounds for it rang up on Easter Tuesday to tell them as they close Easter Friday mum past sat 19th April would not give eneny money back of 635pounds which was a lot of money not to get some of it back got no heart you think they would pay some of it back just got aload of what rules our don't hire of these people unless you know all there polices would not hire of them again two weeks hire for electric bed £635 is alot to lose

Regarding the hire charge, the majority of the cost related to arranging a special Good Friday delivery. As this fell on a bank holiday, we had to draft in additional support to ensure the bed could be delivered when you needed it, which is why the cost was higher than a standard hire.
We completely understand how difficult this feels in light of your circumstances, and we’re sorry for any distress caused. Your feedback is important, and we’ll continue to review how we communicate these costs and policies so they are always as clear and sensitive as possible.

Excellent service
I have used Mobility Hire time after time for the past 3 years. I have never come across anyone rude. The salespeople I speak with on the phone are always polite, and I always have a laugh on the phone. The people who collect the electric bed I hire are equally as friendly. They always check if I have had any problems and show genuine care and understanding.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing to hire equipment.

Excellent service
Very quick delivery, meeting the time slot, and everything set up perfectly by the driver who spent time demonstrating the operation of the bed and was extremely pleasant and helpful throughout. The bed itself is excellent and meets all our needs. Together with the courtesy call to check that all was well this adds up to a perfect service experience.

Was a godsend for the weekend
The vehicle was a tad difficult to steer quickly but the battery held out the whole weekend. Wasn't great over big lumps on the ground but no fault of the vehicle itself.

Great service and helpful staff
Great service and helpful staff . The only problem is the scooter I chose. It's a boneshaker! I wouldn't recommend it after an injury for this reason but luckily I shall only it for a few weeks more for a temporary injury until I can drive. Overall good service

We’re sorry to hear the scooter felt uncomfortable to use. Just to clarify, folding scooters unfortunately don’t come with suspension, which can make them feel a bit bumpier compared to larger models. They are designed mainly for convenience and portability rather than comfort over uneven ground.
That said, we really appreciate your feedback as it helps us ensure we explain these differences more clearly for future hires. If you ever need to hire again and comfort is a priority, we’d be very happy to recommend alternative models better suited to post-injury use.

The deliver man arrived at the time he said and was very polite and friendly. He assembled the chair and plugged it in to the power socket. He made sure we understood the controls for the chair and left everything tidy.

Great service.
Great service from the team who delivered and installed my rental electric recliner chair. They patiently explained how it worked and ensured I was happy before they left. Also excellent service from the team who take phone calls and orders at the head office. Everyone has been a pleasure to work with.
