Motorvogue in Norwich is an exceptional company!
Motorvogue in Norwich is run with exceptional staff, who never pressured us at any point to purchase, in fact they just wished to make sure we were making the correct choice……shout out to all, but Sophie and Sam went out of their way from helping us with the trade in on our Ford to gently guiding us to purchasing our new Jeep from Motorvogue in Norwich. One word describes both the staff and customer service we have joyfully received these past two weeks with them……outstanding! We very much look forward to returning to Motorvogue in Norwich in a few years, to repeat the wonderful experience we have had with them these past two weeks. Thank you all once again.

Easy Purchase
I had an easy and informative purchase from Minhaz at Motorvogue Dunstable. He was incredible and explaining things and with me having not purchased a vehicle on my own before he was very attentive to making sure I understood each step. Any emails he said he would send got sent straight away and if he said he’d call on a certain day then he did call. Then on collection of the vehicle he helped me to set up the app on my phone and talked through the features of the car. Would definitely return to this branch in the future if needing to purchase another vehicle.

I purchased a new Hyundai Santa Fe from…
I purchased a new Hyundai Santa Fe from Motorvogue Dunstable last week (17 August 2026). I was assisted by Giuseppe who was exceptionally helpful. The experience was excellent and I was able to sign the deal for a brand new car from stock.
I collected the vehicle the following Monday, it was immaculate and ready for me to drive away.
Unfortunately I was involved in an accident in the main road as I departed the dealership premises. The new car was damaged and is currently being repaired through my Insurers.
The accident was close to the dealership and some of the staff came out to give assistance including Giuseppe who went out of his way to make sure I was injured. Fortunately nobody was seriously injured although the vehicles suffered some damage.
Some days after the events I am still in full admiration and gratitude for all the Motorvogue staff at Dunstable. The Company must be proud of them all.
This has been my experience which from start to finish (leaving aside the accident) has been so smooth and pleasurable, thank you Motorvogue Dunstable.

Gross negligence, deceptive warranty dodging, and total incompetence.I have been trapped in a nightmare with this dealership since March regarding a failed factory LED headlight on my Hyundai. For nearly half a year, they have dragged their feet, completely unable or unwilling to make a definitive decision.Their internal administration is utterly shambolic. They booked and subsequently lost two separate appointments. Despite their administrative failure, I still showed up on time both times, only to be turned away. Because of their weaponised incompetence and deliberate delays, my car’s MOT has now expired. I am legally unable to drive my vehicle because of this service department's negligence. To avoid honoring the manufacturer's warranty, they are now using bad-faith tactics. They claim that minor, superficial bumper scratches—typical parking scuffs—somehow caused an internal electronic component to fail. The clear headlight lens is completely flawless and untouched. The factory panel gaps are perfectly straight. It is technically impossible for cosmetic wear to selectively target an internal low-beam microchip, yet they are using this as an excuse to dodge a clear warranty repair. To top it off, they are now holding the repair hostage by demanding I pay upfront labour costs to investigate their own factory defect.I have officially escalated this to the Motor Ombudsman for breach of consumer rights and unfair warranty rejection. This dealership has shown a complete lack of professional ethics, shocking customer care, and total disregard for road safety. Avoid them at all costs.

Avoid!
From reading the review and going into the showroom, I would rather walk than buy a car from these cowboys!

Wish I’d read the reviews before purchasing
How I wish I had done my homework and read the reviews before buying from here. I purchased a Hyundai on 21st March and in under 48 hours the car seemed sluggish to drive with the gears being difficult to select ending with 1st gear the making the car go into reverse. The car was towed by the AA back to the Norwich branch and I had no communication other than a text message that evening to say it had been booked in for 16th April! I called in the next afternoon after work having had no contact from them and said I wanted a full refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. This was refused and they needed to find what was wrong with the car. Over the next week I was informed no fault could be found and despite it being driven by various staff they were unable replicate the problem and as far as they were concerned the car was fine. I did not accept this as I felt the car was unsafe to drive so I wrote to the Customercare team explaining that I did not feel confident to use this car but was refused a refund again. Citizens Advice agreed I had a case and the next 5 weeks consisted of emails, texts and phone calls until I received an email from
MotorVogues legal representatives also refusing and stating if I persisted with my claim for a refund I would need supporting evidence.
At this point I felt I had no alternative but to collect the car from the branch where it had been for the past 6 weeks (4th May). Just over 2 weeks later 22nd May I broke down as I approached the busy NDR roundabout whilst I was attempting to turn right. Despite the hooting and shouting from fellow road users I put on my hazards and videoed the failure!
Luckily some kind chaps pushed the car to safety while I held up 3 lanes of traffic and I was given a lift home. I called into the branch the following day with my ‘evidence’ where it was agreed yes the car was faulty. I had hoped at this point the matter would be resolved and my refund given but no….
On 6th June I was told I could have a different car - ‘no thanks’ was my reply. Finally on 15th June I was told I was I could have my money back. Hallelujah!! I returned the spare keys, paperwork and V5 on 16th June. Finally the nightmare was over …. Both breakdowns had been very stressful along with the constant pushing for the situation to be sorted out by texting, ringing and calling into the branch. But no… I still had to be kept waiting and eventually I got my refund on 28th July 6 weeks later. Luckily during all this time I had not sold my trusty car of
9 years which I am now keeping after this awful experience of attempting an upgrade. During the 4 months of dealing with this I have been reading the reviews and it seems I am just one of many to experience such poor service, communication and an extremely slow refunding process. Like others if I could have given 0 stars I would have.

Thank you so much to Thomas at Norwich
Thank you so much to Thomas at Norwich! I’ve had my Hyundai Kona for a month now and absolutely love it. Thomas was fantastic from start to finish and took the time to make sure I understood all the features and how everything worked. He even helped set up my phone with the car, which made everything so easy.
Really happy with my new car and the excellent service from Thomas. Highly recommend!

I really would advise not buying from this company. I was sold a vehicle and I had endless problems with it. There were constantly mistakes with bookings for service and getting a hire car etc. I bought the car and I was promised the service records and manual to add the stamps and I never recieved it. I would never use them again. The customer communications and customer service is so poor and they are just after your money.

Refund Process
This companies process of refunding any money owed is very poor and that has been presented as an occurring theme among a number of reviews, unfortunately I have fallen victim of their very poor process for receiving a refund.
I had a service plan with this company for my Hyundai, now i work for another motor group which has Hyundai in the group but given the location of that dealership simply not viable for me to take it their so opted for my local dealership with Motorvogue, now i requested my service plan to be cancelled and refunded to me as I was purchasing a new car which is completely separate to this.
They complied and requested I sent my bank details to process said refund, they advised me of a 28 day timeframe of refund which having worked as an accountant for a large dealer group I do understand of the time restraints of needing to reconcile the service plan provider and the companies ledger accounts before processing a refund, however having worked as an accountant for a large dealer group with Hyundai in the group I know what service plan provider they use, I know how simple it is to reconcile a refund on that system and I know how simple it is to raise a bank transfer to finalise the refund.
However, we have now gone past the 28 days I was advised and I am still yet to receive my refund. given this is a reoccurring theme I would urge people to make sure they are fully comfortable they are sending the exact money owed to the company as getting a refund seems like trying to get blood out of a stone.

An update to my previous review.
I would like to thank Megan from Motorvogue. She phoned me personally and apologised for the non payment of the car I traded in. She resolved this for me immediately and refunded the additional payment to Stellantis that I had to make.
It is a shame that this wasn't sorted at the point of trade in but I do really appreciate Megan dealing with everything so promptly.

My Pegeout 5008 had a creeking/tapping…
My Pegeout 5008 had a creeking/tapping noise in the steering wheel at low speeds. Motorvogue Bury St Edmunds diagnosed a worn steering rack was causing the problem at a cost to repair of £3000 including the diagnostic fee. Reluctantly I agreed to have this repaired as the tapping noise had become very irritating at times. So 2 weeks later the repair was done, the service desk informed me they had fully tested the car with a test drive. I paid, got my car but before I had even left the dealership I could still hear the tapping, just as much as it had before my visit. After complaining I got nowhere, going round in circles them saying the steering rack was worn and needed replacing, me saying you said this was the cause of the tapping noise when obviously it was not. All they said they would do is not charge me for a re-diagnosis and were insisting they did not misdiagnosis the fault. So as it’s stands I’m 3k down and the problem my car went to this dealership for still exists and they are happy to charge me for more repairs. Saying avoid this dealership at all costs is an understatement.

Rubbish service
My partner and I have been looking to buy a new car and have gad good reports of Jaecoo so we went to motorvogue in bedford. It was a very hot afternoon. There was no one in the showroom except one girl at a desk with the ac on but the doors all wide open so the AC was not effective. We asked about various aspects of the different models. The girl was polite but didnt bother to get off her seat and just waved in the general direction of each model giving the briefest information. Whatever happened to good salesman ship? It's a very expensive purchase but I have had far better service at a b & m store. I have never bought a car new but my partner has many times and I was shocked at her attitude which he said is not totally unusual. He has bought one since but ghe salesmen in subsequent showrooms was the total opposite and the latest salesman has sold him.a Tessler!

High quality service you can rely on
My husband bought a car through a Motability scheme from Motorvogue Bedford. Sales team were great, talked us through the process, car delivered on time to the exac spec and a week on, all is good. Shout out to Harley Kelly, thank you for seeing through the process and keeping us informed. Hubby previously had a car from there, serviced on time and to good standard, for 3 years but this was the first new car order through the scheme.

I went to Motorvogue to buy a brand new…
I went to Motorvogue to buy a brand new Jaecoo J7. Turns out I actually got myself a part time administrative role.
Within 48 hours it was back.
The GardX looked like it’d been applied by a toddler. Three attempts later… still glue on the paintwork. You’d think after the third go someone would’ve thought, maybe this isn’t working.
Then it went in for a wheel alignment. Came back with three warning lights. I wasn’t aware wheel alignment now included the mystery dashboard lights package, but here we are.
My favourite part was when I was told my brand new Jaecoo J7 was off to Norwich for repair.
It wasn’t.
It turns out a friend of one of the managers, who wasn’t even affiliated with Motorvogue, was going to do them a favour and try fix my brand new car instead.
When that didn’t happen, the story changed again. Then started the game of Guess Where Your Car Is.
“It’s in Norwich.”
Car tracker: “No, it’s in King’s Lynn.”
“A specialist is coming.”
Tracker: “Bush Tyres North Lynn.”
At this point I trusted my tracker more than anyone I spoke to.
Eventually I’d had enough and rejected the car under the Consumer Rights Act. I thought that was the hard bit…
How wrong was I.
The £500 reservation deposit that was supposed to take five working days? Around three weeks.
The £5,000 deposit? Had to chase that too.
The finance settlement? Still chasing that.
At one point I genuinely refused to hand the courtesy/manager’s car back until my £5,000 was actually in my bank account because by then I had absolutely no confidence I’d ever see it otherwise. The fact it even got to that point says everything.
Then came the finance.
Motorvogue: “It’s been settled.”
Creation: “No it hasn’t.”
Motorvogue: “Here’s proof.”
Creation: “We’ve never received it.”
Me: “ No F@£)ing clue anymore”
Months later I’m still having finance payments taken, it’s still showing on my credit file and it’s now holding up my remortgage. Apparently my new monthly hobby is ringing Creation to make sure they don’t take another payment.
I’ve honestly spent that much time chasing this that I feel like I should’ve been put on the payroll.
The communication has been…shall we say interesting.
If I’ll call you back was a genuine promise, I’d probably still be waiting by the phone.
If It’s all sorted meant absolutely nothing has changed, then 10/10.
I’ve been into the dealership more times than I’ve been to Tesco this year. I’ve emailed, phoned, chased, emailed again, phoned again and at one point was ready to drive to Norwich Showground to find a senior management because that genuinely seemed easier than waiting for a reply.
Mistakes happen. I get that. But what I don’t get is how so many managers can be involved in one complaint and somehow nobody actually takes ownership.
If you’re looking to buy a car, I wouldn’t recommend Motorvogue.
However, if you’re looking for a part time admin job with no staff benefits, where your role includes chasing managers, finance companies and refunds, all while receiving little to no communication… then I’d highly recommend them. Five stars for the work experience.
One star only because Google doesn’t let you leave none.
P.S
Before anyone from Motorvogue dusts off the copy and paste reply…
Please save yourselves the effort.
I already know it’ll say something along the lines of:
“We’re sorry you feel this way… we take your feedback seriously… we’ve shared this with senior management… we’d like the opportunity to discuss this further…”
I’ve seen it under enough one star reviews to know it by heart.
Instead of practising your copy and paste skills, maybe send an email to Creation with the payment you assured me had been sent to them.
Do not buy from this company bunch of…
Do not buy from this company bunch of cowboys if I could give them zero stars I would took 8 weeks to clear finance on the car I traded in had a default notice put on me by finance company even though I had told them the car had been traded in. Do not buy a car from this company! I have been waiting for a refund from this company for a month. Their accounts team don’t pick up the phone and the manager I spoke to has washed his hands of it. I have emailed the complaints team and no response to my emails. It’s applauding!
