Sent my car for its 2nd service
Sent my car for its 2nd service. So I thought . Had a defective rear washer which wasn’t checked or repaired. Service consisted of hammering the car for a road test and draining the oil . Apparently checking plugs and air filter are an extra .
Got the car back and the air filter was dirty and definitely wasn’t checked . And the car wasn’t even washed . Piss poor service . Apparently nothing gets done on the second service. Apart from oil and a quick check over
Good product in the hands of amateurs.
Firstly, the Ioniq5 is a good product. I wish I could say the same about the sales team. This should be a simple process, take a deposit, you comply and hey presto the deal is done and after 10 working days the deposit is returned according to the compliance rules they quote. On this occasion a slight complexity that was resolved by me regarding a private plate should have seen the balance of the deposit returned after 10 working days. After 5 telephone calls, on 5 separate days not one call back to say we are sorry about this. Verbally, I find out the salesman has left and to compound their miserable record, it seems they are unable to handle the paperwork for a director to sign off the repayment authority.
I still await the refund and I shall now await a response. Given this transaction completed over 15 working days I shall also ponder over their compliance with the fsa.
Be wary, good product poor company.

I part ex’d my vehicle for a new Alfa Romeo Stelvio over 3 months ago.
They failed to repay the finance on my part ex resulting in me having to pay 2 more instalments for my old car plus the instalments on my new car. Still to this day waiting for my refund.
New car registration - kept getting numberplate wrong upon trying to register my new vehicle resulting in a 2 week delay, issue only spotted my me.
New car collection - kerbed alloy, car dirty.
Incorrect service plan added to vehicle, should have been 3 years, they added 2.
Black badges- never arrived, still waiting 3 months in.
Communication from this dealership is terrible. Have been emailing for the past 3 months and occasionally get the odd reply. No official apology. Customer service atrocious to say the least.
No gesture of goodwill or any compensation offered. Totally unacceptable from a dealership. Where is your customer service??
Motorvogue Bedford car damaged …
Do not take your vehicle to Motorvogue Bedford for any work, we had issues from a car we bought from the renault dealership and when it came back the bodywork had scratches all over the car, this was reported to the useless manager and his witless assistant manager and after complaining to the customer care team they are refusing to take any responsibility for the damage they have caused,
The service since we have bought the car is disgusting
Inept, Incompetent, inadequate....and these are just the good points.
I bought a SEAT Ateca from Motovogue in Bedford back in April last year (cash sale). The worst decision I have made in my life was to walk through their door. Their aftersales service stinks and only now, 13 months late, have I managed to get all of the aftersales issues resolved. I could write a book but a few relatively short points will do.
1. I paid for the car and to collect it and it was not ready - I had to go back later asking for service and MOT to be carried out together and the Ad-blu tank topped up as it was nearly empty.
2. When I collected the car it had been serviced but no MOT - I had to take it back two weeks later. The ad-blu tank had not been topped up either.
3. About 1 hour after dropping the car off for its MOT I received a text saying in a big red banner headline 'immediate attention'. Front tyres need changing. I subsequently found out that this message was 'advisory' and "maybe" was being used to promote tyre sales. After some negotiation with them I managed to get the 'supposedly' faulty tyre replaced
4. I topped up the ad-blu myself (they did pay for the ad-blu)
5. When I bought the car I asked them to fit front and rear dashcam and also a tow bar. I was advised that I could only have a SEAT RETRACTABLE towbar which would be fitted by Motorvougue - price £1550!!!!!!
6. After the car was serviced I had to take it back for the dashcams to be fitted and also the tow bar. When I arrived at the service desk they had no record of any of this and went off to get the sales guy. He turned up and said 'everything is ok as its in my diary' ....bloody wonderful
7.When I collected the car the front dashcam had been fitted but the rear had been forgotten so I had to take the car back again. There was no sign of the towbar either. "We'll fit that when we fit the rear dashcam!"
8. Took the car back for rear dashcam and towbar to be fitted. When I collected it the rear dashcam had been fitted but still no sign of the towbar.....
9. After some considerable time I managed to get a date to have the tow bar fitted and took the car back yet again. When I collected it I discovered that the tow bar had been fitted by an outside company and a DETACHABLE towbar had been fitted and not the retractable one I had paid for. Of course there is a significant difference in cost between the two types.
10. At no time did Motorvogue offer a credit. I had to chase and cajole them into issuing me a credit. They gave me £800 which was still £150 short of the cost the outside company would have charged me.
11. I subsequently found out that SEAT do not manufacture towbars and Motorvogue do not fit them. When I ordered the towbar I can only assume that the salesman was either inept or just lying to secure a sale
12. After making continuous complaints eventually I was offered a two year service plan and four years warranty to compensate in someway for the aggravation which I accepted (because I had had just about enough of Motorvogue by then)
13. April my car was due for service so I decided to book the service with the SEAT garage in Letchworth as I did not want to deal with Motorvogue anymore and I thought my troubles would be over......how wrong could I be
14. I was advised by SEAT Letchworth that there was no record of my car on the SEAT '1-link' system and as such I would have to take it up with Motorvogue as they had set the plan and warranty up.
15. It transpired that Motorvogue had not set up the plan correctly and that there had been a serious data breach which SEAT financial services are now investigating
16. It took from early April until now for the complete shambles of the service plan and warranty to be resolved. My car is now serviced!
At no time throughout this whole sorry saga has anyone from Motorvogue been proactive in any way shape or form (apart for the guy who finally sorted the service plan issue). Had I not chased, complained, cajoled, or just simply been on their case all of the time none of the things that Motorvogue promised would have happened.
They seem to be a company the is not interested in its customers and are content to let all of their staff promise the earth and deliver nothing. I think everyone can draw their own conclusions as to reasons why any company would act in this way suffice to say is that the best advice I can give to anyone is
DO NOT DEAL WITH MOTORVOGUE
Steve Jackson
The race to the bottom Cupra style.
The race to the bottom Cupra style.
When first enquiring about purchasing the born the sales person was very attentive. I had got a better price elsewhere which would have saved £500 but decided to give the local dealership the chance.
Fast forward to handover day. I got to the dealership and dealt with the paperwork, which sadly took longer than initially thought & issues with their systems meant that I nearly didn’t take the car away that day, if I hadn’t forced them to persevere that would have been the case. It wasn’t a professional handover because of this.
The finance for the vehicle involved paying a small amount on the vehicle I was “trading in”. Unfortunately the date the valuation was valid until was close to the handover date, which in turn meant that Motorvogue owed me around £500. This took much longer than should have been necessary to get back & the garage dragged their feet.
The race to the bottom, cupra style. I wouldn’t recommend, way more hassle than should be necessary.
Kerry so helpful from Beford
Dealt with Kerry from the Bedford Hyundai branch who was so helpful, professional, friendly and efficient. Car serviced quickly and the video report from the engineer was very informative showing all the details in the report.
DO NOT buy a car from Motorvogue
Whatever you do DO not buy a car from Motorvogue. Bedford Jeep provide the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Four months later and issues with my new car still haven't been sorted out. Now taking legal action. 0 stars I only wish I had read these reviews before they happily took my money.
Absolutely abysmal service
Absolutely abysmal service.
After the experience I have had with the Kings Lynn branch and purchasing a second hand car I have contacted both the branch, and the customer complaints department about my experience in purchasing a vehicle from them. Customer complaints are meant to come back to you within 3 days to resolve your issue or to advise that they need longer to look into it. It’s not been almost two weeks since my complaint and no response, even after a chasing email.
It took almost 5 days of chasing to get an updated invoice for the car I had already paid a deposit on, so that I could actually pay them balance for it. No one calls you back or replies to emails. The v5 wasn’t issued when I took delivery of the car, I followed up nearly two weeks later and got told that sometimes it takes a while for it to come through - to then explain to the sales manager that it hadn’t actually been done according to the DVLA - so I had the car for two weeks before it had actually been transferred into my ownership. V5 was then done, and they’ve got my name wrong despite it being correct on all the other paperwork- so now I need to send it back.
No one seems to know what you’re actually paying for with the £199 admin fee, including the sales manager - however I know it does include 10 litres of fuel - it was delivered with the tank empty. The admin fee is a joke - I did more admin than the dealership just trying to buy the car and get the v5 issued to me, which I now have to redo myself anyway.
I was avoiding writing a review before I had dealt with the customer complaints department - but apparently this is the only way I can get a response out of Motorvogue.
Motovogue Kings Lynn
Terrible service and useless, over two months and £2,000.00 for them to get the car working after ordering wrong part.
Warranty is pointless, not interested in fixing faults
Got a Hyundai Kona electric. They boast about there warranty but it's completely useless as they don't do any repairs.
In less than a year a door handle has failed, boot struts have failed and the anti glare coating is coming off. Car went in to get them repaired in January 2025 (faults started in October 2024) no repairs were done and they had the car all day, made a fresh appointment which they cancelled last minute and its now March 13th (2025) and I still have no idea when or if they will repair any of these issues. Will never go to Motorvogue again or get another Hyundai.
It's the Bedford Motorvogue I got it from
If I could give a no star for this…
In response to the Motorvogue reply which interestingly is the quickest I've had a response in the last 14 months. The word "Diligently" is used to describe how the repairs were dealt with. I do not define diligence by diagnosing what repair needs to be done in October ( bearing in mind I raised these issues months before) and then not bothering to carry it out until 4 months later in January! And even then it was brought slightly forward because I complained about the fact that I was told it was in the workshop being done in November and was so obviously lied to at the time. Motorvogue have not cooperated with Renault - Renault UK called me last week to say they have had no response to the request for a more accurate timeline of events from Motorvogue (this request was made because the original dates gave were wrong- acknowledged by Motorvogue management), the case is closed and advice is to contact the motor ombudsman. I requested Motorvogue allow me opportunity to speak to the manager dealing with my complaint to be able to discuss this properly and this has been declined. The courtesy car in my opinion is not compensation when the new car you purchase has repair issues and it takes Motorvogue 4 months to get around to fixing, what exactly am I expected to do, walk? I was sold a NEW car that was not fit for purpose.
This is exactly what I mean when I say you will be dismissed and fobbed off. The reply to this review is much like the response I've received in my complaints - a lot of words but no real response to the issues raised. I could go on but simply I repeat my initial review- DO NOT deal with this company.
If I could give a no star for this company I would. DO NOT buy from Motorvogue Bedford. Purchased a brand new Renault and had problems from day 1. They do not get back to you, have major issues with answering their phones. Took over a year to have the problem fixed including 4 months of being without the car I purchased. The complaint I submitted was acknowledged but to say I was fobbed off was an understatement. The turnover of staff means you do not consistently deal with one person and there is no admission or compensation for what has been a stressful and terrible customer service experience.

Motorvogue Bedford.
I wrote a review a few weeks ago on Motorvogue Bedford Dacia. I followed this up with the customer services. Having purchased a Duster and paying cash for it they were very happy to take my money but since then the customer care has been lacking totally. I have followed up with the dealer directly and again the promised refund has failed to materialise.
I will take my future business for serving and repairs to another deal ship as I have no trust in anything this dealership has to say. Lots of promises but no action. I’m just sorry I bought my Duster from them now. Love the car but not the dealership.

Criminals and Crooks avoid.
Criminals and Crooks avoid.
Bought an Ioniq5, scammed from day one.
Car was delivered with an additional 2256 miles, no explanation given at the time, or discount offered. (Sales of goods acts, misdiscription)
Car catastrophically failed within 4 months.
Took 7 weeks to "repair"
Car is still broken suffering ICCU and DC leaks along with other minor issues.
Currently I've owned the car for 7 months and it's only worked for 4 of those months!
Dealer refuses to accept their consumer rights to give me a refund as the car was faulty at the time of purchase.
Dealer didn't fill in the service paperwork correctly so I'm currently stranded as the Hyundai breakdown isn't valid until the dealer updates the system. - total incompetence on their behalf.
Now having to drag it through the courts.
Dishonourable people who should not be in business.
There are laws in place and we all must adhere to them.

Motorvogue unsure what they are selling
Recently ordered a car from Motorvogue Kings Lynn as having a full service history registered with the manufacturer. After checking this with the manufacturer themselves, it transpired that the most recent “service” had been done by an unknown third party and not by the manufacturer.
I was left no option but to cancel the order as this is not what I wanted, or had been sold.
From a dealership who add a £199 administration fee to all sales, I would have expected an exceptional level of admin in addition to better knowledge of the cars you are attempting to sell.

Amazing service, I would definitely use them again
I purchased my Renault Clio through the Kings Lynn dealership and I cannot fault the service I received. They were very helpful, knowledgeable and I’m thrilled with my car. I would throughly recommend them.

After Care
I purchased a 500e last year and today picked up the car after service and a few things the Fiat Team were going to look into. The manger, staff, service team and also the team who cleaned the car i cant thank you more and resolving outstanding areas was second to none.

I recently brought a formentor from…
I recently brought a formentor from Motorvogue Cupra Northampton, to be told on the test drive that the brakes were rubbing due to the vehicle being sat for a few weeks, the problem with the brakes scraping never cleared and got worse and worse over the next few months, after going back into the Motorvogue service garage they found the brakes needed cleaning, once I picked the car up the brakes were no different and the team were awful and so unorganised, so I called Northampton again and to be honest they were pretty useless throughout the whole situation and couldn't care less, a few weeks later I found out the sales assistant who sold me the car had left the company, coincidence? I contacted another Cupra dealership who had the car in there garage and said the brakes had not been cleaned as I was told before by Motorvogue, but again they were the same before they went in, despite raising a dispute with Cupra UK I was forced to sell the vehicle 3 months later due to a unsatisfactory conclusion with all parties at a loss of £4000. My advice would be to not purchase from Motorvogue and go elsewhere to somebody who will help you out and not fob you off or be as useless as they were.
