The Cargo Mycle bicycle is exactly what my family needed to make the school/nursery run easy, less stressful and on a nice day very pleasant. There are very few alternatives on the market, which are considerably more expensive. The bicycle's battery unfortunately failed within the second week of use, however Mycle were very responsive and send a new one with next day delivery. Nice to have a 12 month guarantee included from the outset.

I needed a part on the bike I was repairing. The team at Mycle went out of their way to source the part and ship out in a timely manner. The team is very supportive with a great customer service.

When I say I'm happy with my Climber e-bike, I mean it - even if my butt did feel a bit sore in the first week. But honestly, that's just a small hiccup in an otherwise smooth ride. The multi-tool provided in the box made assembly a breeze, and even though the manual didn't explain how to adjust the brakes when they started rubbing, a quick Google search sorted that issue out.

The front suspension shock is a lifesaver, especially when you're commuting on roads that look like they've been through a war. I've never felt tired in my arms, even after a long ride, thanks to the way it absorbs most of the disturbances.

The battery is easy to take off and charge, taking around 4 hours to fully charge. The unique shape of the battery means it's not easy to transfer to another e-bike, but it's attached to the seatpost so it doesn't take up space on the frame. It's also quite stealthy, making it look like a regular bike if you don't notice the controller unit.

The tyres are decent, although they're not puncture-proof. I've had to patch a couple of flats due to broken glass, but that's to be expected. They've got good grip, even in heavy rain and snow, which is great for someone like me who commutes in all weather conditions.

The Climber has some great features like the wheel lock and battery lock, which give me peace of mind knowing it's not easy to steal. The display unit shows all the important information like speed, distance, and battery levels and it's easy to navigate. However, I couldn't figure out how to change the settings from km/h to miles per hour or reset the lap distance, but that's just me being dense.

The display unit was advertised as waterproof but mine got water damage in October during a heavy rain. The bike wouldn't start and I had to ride it unpowered. But, I contacted Mycle and they immediately identified the problem and sent me a new display unit within 10 days. I was impressed by their warranty and customer service. They also sent replacement parts for the rear caliper without any issue.

The only thing I'd change is the lack of mudguards, but for the price, I can't really complain. Plus, you can always buy one on Amazon.

Overall, I'm happy with the Climber and it takes me where I need to go. Mycle's customer service and warranty are top-notch and I've already recommended them to people looking for a budget e-bike with UK warranty and support. Oh, and if you're looking for a support, check out their Facebook group, they are awesome.

It’s a really nice electric bike. I did a thorough research and this looked the best on paper for under £1000.
But after using it, I found few things which are not too great. Folding mechanism is really hard. It requires effort to fold this bike. The front disc brake is touching the plate, resulting in drag.
It’s not a 17.5kg as advertised. It is about 19.2kg.
Other than that, the electric assistance is really good, helps me in the hilly areas. 7 gears are nice too.

This is my first purchase of an electric bicycle. I spent a long time researching which bike and company I would be happy with.
Customer feedback for Mycle was good and I was impressed with the praise given to customer services.
As I am only 5ft tall I also had difficulty in finding a supplier who produced a suitable bike. It was good to find a company that could supply one.
Before my purchase I emailed Mycle to clarify a few points and their response was quick helpful and very friendly.
I then decided to purchase the, "Comfort Electric Step Through"
The bike was delivered on time and extremely well packaged.
I have never had to part assemble a bike before, but there is't much to do and there are instructions. The only thing I struggled with was making sure I put the quick release bolt on the front wheel into the correct side as instructions didn't say left or right side. I then worked out that the disc brakes dictated this.
Unfortunately snow, ice and Christmas stopped me getting out straight away.
I have now had two rides out and am very impressed. You just need to take it easy and give yourself time to get used to how the power kicks in and how to use the gears to conserve energy. On my second ride I found that I was in tune with the bike. The controls are well placed on handle bars and easy to use. The throttle option is a real bonus for smooth starting at traffic lights etc.
I still try to challenge myself and get a good workout on my rides. The bike has given me confidence to know I can tackle the gradients and winds that had stopped me getting out on certain days. I believe as a result I will be spending far more time exercising. Also popping to the shops on the bike and leaving the car at home.
The bike is very well made and looks attractive. I love the integrated lights especially the automatic brake light which is a great safety feature.
I cannot praise the customer service enough as it is so important to know that help is immediate and positive. For example my bike had a really tiny chip on the frame and I asked if they possibly had a touch up pot. I was told to source a suitable paint which I did and was immediately refunded the ten pound it cost.
I haven't used my bike enough to comment on battery life over time. I will revisit later in the year to give an update.
I hope the tree that is planted because of my purchase has a good life. Love the ethical ethos of this company.
The purchase of a Mycle bike has been a positive experience.

I love my new bike!

Great product, helpful customer service, good communication, good delivery process. My only gripes are I had to track down the user manual online; and some of the instructions - particularly around the actual operation of the bike - could be clearer. Overall very happy.

I love my new bike - it is easy to use and looks fantastic. The electric power is seamless and works really well - sometimes it feels almost too much for someone who is a bit cautious with speed but I know it is going to be a great help with the big hills. I did find putting the bike together tricky and wondered it it would be helpful to have slightly more detailed instructions? A sort of bike guide for dummies? I suspect they are fine for people who are experienced cyclists but for those of us new to the sport, a few more detailed pictures would be very helpful!

The bike was delivered quickly, well packaged and needed minimal assembly {handlebars and pedals}. I thought something was wrong when the crank turning did not power the back wheels but the chain was off the chainwheel and caught between that and the chain protector. Once that was sorted the bike performed well and gave me an excellent ride.

Great bike - I’m really enjoying it. Delivery took a little longer than expected.

I bought a nice foldup e-bike from Mycle, meaning I could cut down on my commute time. The bike has never let me down. I love beating the traffic and my colleagues to work! The customer service when making my decision was excellent and very helpful!

I purchased the Compact Folding Electric Bike in July 2022, I also purchased an extra charger, 24 month warranty and the mobile phone charger which does not actually fit the bike handlebars.
Since July 22, I have rode 6 miles there and back to my gym most days.
Twice the bike has run out of battery.
The brake cable snapped about 4 weeks ago
And the handlebars keep coming loose in the handlebar stem which is extremely dangerous when riding on busy roads as I lose control of the handlebars.
Mycyle have made lots of polite excuses eg excessive mileage, not tightening the stem enough and tightening them too much.
But despite the additional warranty none of these faults are covered by the warranty. I have to pay £75 + £90 + £25 to return it for the technician to look at it.
So the bike is now unable to be used at less than 6 months old and £1300 plus extras is down the drain.
