Why so many bad reviews? My experience has been nothing but good but.....the prices need to come down sooner or later because they will lose out on competitive stakeholders in this field. All good from my point of view, thanks :)

My VR broke in a few months, asked oculus for help and they didn't do a single thing, couldn't send me a cable, horrible company, it's a gamble buying from them.

Support is done through email and it’s impossible, i I couldn’t believe how poor the customer support was until I attempted to communicate with them. considering how much they invest in in game community guides for their horizons app it’s surprising that they don’t invest this same level of care into their customer support for hardware and service issues. I will not be purchasing any quest hardware moving forward now that I understand the level of incompetence and lack of accountability and general ownership of supporting the customer, my interactions were constantly transferred to new email support reps and every time I would response it would just not be productive. It’s absolutely useless, so good luck if you have to reach out to oculus meta-quest support you’re going to probably want to write your experience here along with the rest of us but it’s well-known at this point that the support is horrendous.

Bon quand le SAV se passe bien faut aussi le dire... Mon casque Oculus Quest 1 tombe en panne quelques jours après le deux ans de garantie... sur le site web de Meta alias Facebook ayant racheté Oculus, mon casque n'est plus éligible au SAV... ça commence bien... les témoignages sur le SAV des clients Quest 1 sont effroyables... je tente le formulaire SAV en disant que j'ai un Quest 2 et là oh miracle Zineddine du SAV me contacte, compréhensif, efficace et règle mon retour casque en 2 heures... je poste mon casque et 3 jours après je reçois un quest 1 reconditionné... merci à votre équipe... Au final un casque qui tombe en panne quelques jours après la garantie c'est quand même pas brillant...

Oculus/meta/Facebook suspended my account because they thought that I was not “old enough”. They then threatened to permanently disable my account if I didn’t send them photos of my drivers license or passport. They can basically brick your Oculus anytime they want. I’m way past 40 and I don’t like having my stupid games held hostage just so that meta/oculus/Facebook can steal more information from me. Garbage company. I highly don’t recommend you sign up with or buy anything from them.

I think along with many other oculus users the tracking has gone wrong on my headset and it can't find the floor any more. I have sent a couple of support tickets but no answer from them so now it's just so much plastic. Even the factory reset doesn't work so I have nowhere to go really. I would probably hold off on buying one of these and get one of the more premium brands in the first place where they give proper support and the product is designed for long term use. It's a pain as well because I have a number of Oculus games I can't use any more....total waste of money overall.

My son's left controller stopped working. It was his fault he bashed them together during a rather lively game of gorilla tag. We ordered a new one through the official website, delivery date 10/5/23. All good. Or so I thought. Within 5 minutes of the transaction I received an email telling me the transaction had been cancelled. Problem is they already took the £69.99 payment from my bank. The company is now telling me the amount taken is £0.00 and even after sending them screenshots and transaction I.D they are going in circles with different staff emailing me excuse after excuse. One tells me no money has been paid the next is admitting a fault on their end and asking for more proof before they refund. I will be contacting my bank this afternoon once back in the UK and reporting it as fraud. I will get my money back but I will most certainly not be using this company again. I will buy a second hand controller from our local Games centre and once the headset dies I will buy my son any other gaming console he likes but not the oculus. No way. Absolute garbage of a company who obviously insists their employees pass a test to work there which proves their incompetence before they are hired. Fuming.

Ok, I'm going to be completely honest about this one, oculus friend requests suck. But don't have that fool you, because the oculus has some cool games on it too! A nice example of this could be echo vr or gorilla tag. Echo Vr is sports in vr while your in space with low gravity and rocket boosters. While echo has a more mature audience and people in voice chat gorilla tag is different. Maybe the most popular game on the oculus gorilla tag is filled with little kids on voice chat and teenagers. Another good game is Pavlov shack vr which is like valorant or csgo in vr. The oculus is a great piece of technology and worth investing in. Vorsicht!!! Ganz große Gangster. Nichts stimmt dort. Diese Wunderheiler gibt es nicht. Fragen Sie nach Namen, genau Adressen.. Selbst der angegebene Absender der Placebo Pillen ist falsch. Meine Beschwerdebrief kam nicht Zusteller zurück. Gangster, Gauner und Ganoven !!!

That experience is good

If you're trying to get your VR fixed good luck. The people who work support for Meta are garbage and need to be fired or be properly trained. They ask you the same questions over and over again yet don't even help you in the end. I need my Quest 2 to be fixed due to having some battery related issues yet they won't let me request my VR be fixed even though on the website it said it could be returned. Horrible experience!

This question asks how this company could improve but I do not think it can. I do not think I have ever had a worse experience with a company than oculus. I do not even know where to begin. The products suck and barely work, the software runs worse than deleted apps, and the customer service is non-existent. I seriously cannot name a single good thing about Oculus/Meta.

Jeg har købt oculus 2 samt spillet Resident Evil 4, som ikke virker. Det problem er kendt fra deres forum, så jeg kontaktede udgiveren som er Meta. Der er intet svar givet. Jeg har nu 30 mails fra en robot hvor der står at hvis jeg har yderlig, skal jeg endelig sige til ellers lukker de sagen...
Jeg har aldrig fået så ringe service før. Ja faktisk ingen. Deres app virker også kun 1/3 del af gangene ellers er der sort skærm, man skal så restarte sin telefon..
Jeg kan på ingen måde anbefale at man begiver sig ind i Metas univers, der er ingen service, og det virker tilfældigt om tingene virker

Oculus is sh!t. Bought 2 devices. First one locked up on the boot screen and sent back which they never returned. Second device purchased was in the middle of a game of golf+ and the whole system crashes. Tracking was lost. Rebooted the device, nothing. Factory reset the device, no picture whatsoever. Blank screen. DO NOT PURCHASE. NEITHER DEVICE LASTED 4 MONTHS BEFORE HAVING SOFTWARE RUIN THE SYSTEM. forget customer support they are worse than a mobile phone insurance company.

Dont buy. Worst company ever. Wasted £1000 on two headsets and neither work.. been in a constant battle for 5 months trying to sort. They were sent back months ago and told id get replacments and still nowhere ...
