Overall I am pleased with the final outcome with the 3 step spray can package. I did complete a trial and it was slightly darker than the original BMW color (mineral white) but so close that I elected to "go ahead". I sanded the scratch down well and worked the surrounding area starting with 1000 and further out a scotch pad . Roughly 4 x 6 " area total. I decanted all three colors (base. intermediate & clear) into small glass bottles and then used them for my air gun. I applied the base coat per instruction and then followed with the intermediate (metallic) and then followed up with the clear coat. All 3 colors worked very well with my basic air- gun. After completion, and 12 hours drying time for the clear coat I wet sanded with 1400 & 2200. I then applied a polishing compound and buffed it with a simple electric mini buffer. For a 1st time repair I would give it an A and if it was a bodyshop I would give it a B. Hope this helps

I've worked with Paintscratch many times now...they usually do well on color matching and support when needed. Delivery was fast and within the time they stated. Wish the shipping charges were cheaper though.

I ordered paint for a Guards Red vehicle. The merchant's site drop-down menu glitched or misclicked, sending an entirely different dark metallic maroon color that cannot be used on my car. The merchant refuses to offer a reasonable exchange or solution for an obvious system layout error.

Wish the instructions were better so the end result would have come out better. Clearcoat did not adhere well and was marred by weather and came out rough like an orange peel.

Whoever packed the box did a horrible job. They just wrapped one piece of tape around center of box length and width. DID NOT seal the box prior to shipping. Box was destroyed by the time I received my order. They were pretty ignorant to think that was sufficient for shipping.

I had a terrible experience with Dave and PaintScratch. They sent me the wrong color of paint, and instead of taking responsibility, they blamed me for the issue and refused to provide a refund.

I sent them photos of the incorrect paint as requested, but they later claimed I never did. By the time they finally responded—almost a week later—I had already disposed of the paint cans because I have children and pets at home, and it wasn’t safe to keep them sitting around.

Rather than standing behind their product or working toward a fair resolution, they made excuses and shifted the blame onto me. Customer service was disappointing, and I felt like my concerns were ignored. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.
