Customer services absaloutly apauling.not only do they charge so much money in the first place they make it incredibly hard for you to change anything once the add has been published i would recomend other platforms where you can change things if needed and dont get charged over 48 hours i have waited and still no reply discusting.

Pets4homes is a very professionally run site with good safety protocols to clamp down on scammers.

We sell our puppies across the whole of Britain and would not be able to do so but for the quality of this site. Without it we would panic as I couldn’t think of anywhere else that gives this level of service and safety.

They vet sellers thoroughly prior to letting them advertise. People still need to practice due diligence before buying, but be assured that a lot of work has been put in by the team at pets4homes prior to adverts being placed.

Easy to use, and gives all relative information needed fir the process

The purchase of our gorgeous Dalmatian was safe and smooth. Money transfer was easy and no funds given until safe retrieval of the puppy.

Found our new pet dog through the site , and using the available app. Search capability with filtering was good , and although we had a couole if contacts with a couple of owners rehoming dogs that didn’t prove to be successful , when we contacted the previous owners of our nee dog they couldn’t have been any better communicating through the app we quickly and easily arranged a viewing meeting snd subsequently agreed to rehome and paid securely and safely through the apps payment feature.

Good amount and range of food and supplies for your pets ..staff are so helpful and listen to any queries you have ...well stocked on items
..and quiet so that pets can go with you groomers are great and a vet service....also their app gives Good offers and staff will help if you have problems

as soon as I got home i got the
earliest vet appointment, 3 days
later took her to the vets to where
she had fleas. worms. diharea with
blood and an eve infection and a
possible cat virus, the seller not only wouldnt help but then start being very rude to me, this seller has still been selling this whole time whilst ive been waiting for any help, not only vets bills am I paying for, having to deal with the conditions of the cat, having to de flea my hole house what is no joke taken a whole day and still not finished, I have another appointment tommorow to possible have to get tests done to my new little one, ive paid 650 for this cat 63 petpayment 200 in making the cat feel at home 93 so far in vet bills 50 in house supplies to tackle issues, that 650 has turned into nearly 1100 and is only going to unfortunately keep growing keep in mind I reported these issues saturday to the seller and I got home friday 8pm with the cat the seller is denying any problems amd was healthy amd apparently cause my vet gave the cat flea and worming that im now killing the cat, what i absoloutle please it has been buying a pet from pets4home, 4 days ago I made an email ticket no reply, I then also sure the safety report button to make another ticket and escalate it 2 days ago still nothing whilst the seller has 2 cats left and is now boosting their add to try get rid of them. Honestly first time using pets4homes and by far the worst experience ive ever had getting a pet so far and I got 3 other animals.

Update/outcome: seller is being looked into from all my evidence sent, pet payment dont cover any of these issues only long life death threatening issues, be wary, also cause some are private sellers be more careful cause they allow them on there what means liability for vet bills is alot harder to try claim back though small court, what they will be 200%liable for it you to return your pet for the money they recived as false advertisement for goods, in other would petpayment lost, vet costs lost and any other treatment for house or anything ect gone, pets4home will only tell you to speak to the seller and you can guess how that goes, only other option from that point now is small claims court costing 35 pounds, i had a ton of evidence photos writing receipts, so in other words is the site good it is what it say in the tin, are you really protected no they are really just a middle business providing the website, abit like when you buy something from somewhere and they get it from suppliers and ypu get delivery issues we all know how that goes be extreamly careful, take a flea comb on visit, check eyes throughly for any swelling on inner eye lids and also ask to look at there last stool even if they cleaned it and put it in the bin, you might be ok then, thankyou pets4vets for your support. Also 4 days to get a reply from there majour concern safety team the quickest way to get a reply if your curious of time frames, outcome from 2nd vet trip still underweight but going up, fleas have been sorted, worms seemed to be quite bad to ive had an additional 4 more days of antibiotics medication to help clear the blood worming treatment slowly working, still on eye ointment for 3 more days also but is clearing up some cause of it is also from the worms so luckily no cat virus as ling as everything keeps getting better just poo watching for a couple more extra days.

Very disappointed experience despite paying for protection .
We chose to buy our puppy through Pets4homes because we believed using an established platform and paying the additional £ 140 buyer protection /mediation fee would help avoid the very situation we now find ourselves in, The puppy was advertised as KC registered, vet health checked, wormed, flea treated and microchipped. We paid £ 300 deposit and £ 900 balance on collection, We were happy to go ahead with the purchase, believing that the £140 buyer protection would provide support if something went wrong, including if the promised paperwork did not arrive. We were promised the KC paperwork and transfer of the microchip details. The puppy was microchipped, but our vet could not establish which company/database the chip was registered with. The breeder stopped responding the following day, and over three weeks later we still have no KC paperwork or confirmed microchip registration. We reported everything to Pets4homes Trust and Safety . They told us the breeders advert was placed on hold until she responded and provided the paperwork . That was over a week ago ,and we have heard nothing further. We paid £ 140 protection/mediation fee because we believed it would provide, support if something went wrong. Unfortunately, we now feel left to deal with the situation ourselves.

Made the experience of finding a breeder and adopting a new kitten for the family a really easy and secure experience.

These are really lovely people to deal with, friendly and helpful. We are looking for another Bichon Frise ( not a puppy, not an old Bichon, not a mixed breed Bichon and it must be a girl Bichon. Our Bichon “Kyla” died recently ( she had Cushings disease with old age - she was approx 13 - 14 years old when she died. Our house is just not the same. Bichons are such lovely dogs - we miss her so much. Fingers crossed we will buy another girl Bichon soonish. Thank you.

We had a great experience with Pets4Homes. Payment was safe guarded and released once our puppy was handed over and we pressed the button to do so ourselves when we had picked her up. We were grateful for the five weeks insurance cover as an extra bonus. The website is really easy to navigate and is quick to load. We were able to message sellers directly with questions and to make arrangements. Recommended as a good way to contact breeders but keep a third party in place in case of problems. The seller we dealt with was fantastic too.

Absolutely amazing experience I had buy our new dog I like the fact that all the sellers are verified and pets4home hold the money until you are completely satisfied with your new pet on collection also for a small fee you get free health insurance would highly recommend buying this way over the moon with the easy process of buying

appears to be fraudulent and should be investigated immediately.

The person advertising the dog provided a false address for the viewing and requested a deposit that is apparently non-refundable. They also asked users to provide their WhatsApp numbers and then sent messages regarding the dog.

I spent approximately four hours travelling to the address provided with my 2 little kids (which were devastated to find out that it was a scam), only to find that the person did not live there. A neighbour confirmed that nobody by that name lived at the address and that there were no dogs there.

This situation raises serious concerns about the way your platform's deposit rules are being used to facilitate potential scams. Your policies appear to allow people to request deposits from users and then disappear without providing the advertised service.

I strongly request that you investigate this advert, the person behind it, and any related accounts or listings. If your platform continues to allow this type of activity, it risks enabling and supporting fraudulent behaviour rather than protecting users.

Please take appropriate action and let me know what steps you will take regarding this complaint.

Collects detailed information about the buyers that can help you to decide whether that's the right home for the pet you want to re-home. I also like the idea of payment protection where you get a deposit and full pay on collection as it stops people wasting your time by saying they're coming and not showing up. Would recommend using this service to anyone looking for a platform to re-home their furry friends!!

Sellers not responding to follow up messages. I arranged to buy a kitten and then she sold it to someone else. I had already paid the admin fee and had paid in full. Getting my money back is such a pain. They made every excuse not to pay me back, so I threatened legal action. Now I am awaiting my refund. They say it could take another 10 days to return. This is after I have waited for a week for them to respond.
I'm on round 2 of trying to buy a pet now.ets see how that goes.
