They don't check any of their sellers.

I was sold a puppy with parvovirus, by someone using a fake name, and Pets4Homes refuse to help whatsoever.

I had the puppy for 1 week, and got in to so much debt with vets bills, as no insurance covers in the first week of policy, and by that point it's 'an existing condition'.

Everything they state on their website is a lie. I have in writing from their reps that they DO NOT check breeders, or their claims.

Not only do they allow this, it took them almost 2 weeks to remove the listing, despite me reporting he came from the breeder with parvovirus, meaning the rest had it too. By that time, the litter had sold.

It's misleading and the site and slogans are flat out lies.

You CAN NOT be assured you're dealing with responsible breeders. They're complicit in puppy farming and outright refuse to do anything about it.

Do not use this site. I've since found out they've been investigated out outed multiple times in the past for these shady practices.

To their reply: I’ve already been dealing with ‘support’. A good 40 emails. I didn’t arrive at this review in the heat of the moment. I’ve been in touch with a few investigative journalists since. Quite a lot of people looking in to these already. Watch this space.

I have been looking at getting a new pup & I think pets4home is brilliant because of the way it’s set up.Its so easy to use & every detail is covered which gives me as a potential new dog owner some comfort.

It was such a simple & efficient process…

Pets4Homes website is very useful and easy, to use, hopefully I will find my new puppy soon.

There can be a lot of scams online with pet sales and I felt that pets4 homes gave be a safe place to find and purchase my kitten. I paid extra for the 5 weeks insurance and 6 months cover after I collected her for additional peace of mind. I fully recommend using pets4homes.

This website was a great way for us to search for and find our new family member. It’s easy to navigate, easy to contact a seller and paying for our new pet is secure.

I didn’t know pet 4 homes existed a friend told me, I applied for a dog they kept me up to date not as I got one I shall keep trying.

Very easy process

I lost my Bichon Frise, Angel, just over two years ago, and Pets 4 Homes is the ideal way for me to find a new dog.

Pets4Homes seems to have forgotten that breeders are their paying customers !

I have been a loyal Pets4Homes customer for many years and, as a breeder, I spend at least £100 every month with Pets4Homes on adverts and paid boosts.

Unfortunately, I have now reached the point where I am simply tired of paying significant amounts of money to a company that, in my experience, seems to make it increasingly difficult for breeders to actually make a sale.

One of my biggest concerns is that Pets4Homes allows breeders to flag other breeders' adverts. This can result in adverts being restricted at crucial times, including immediately before busy weekends when breeders would normally expect the most enquiries.

What makes this completely unacceptable is that after an advert is flagged or restricted, Pets4Homes can then take weeks to respond.

So I am spending at least £100 EVERY MONTH on advertising and boosts, yet adverts I have paid for can be blocked while I am left waiting for somebody to respond. During that time I lose valuable advertising days, enquiries and potentially sales.

What exactly am I paying £100+ every month for if the adverts I am paying to promote can be blocked and then left unresolved for weeks?

This is not the first time I have experienced problems with my adverts being restricted either. On a previous occasion, Pets4Homes claimed that I had previously used a particular cat photograph, which I completely disputed.

I am also seriously questioning the value of their paid boosts. I currently have two adverts with boosts applied to BOTH. One receives approximately 17 views per day, while the other receives approximately 160 views per day. That is an enormous difference despite both adverts having paid boosts.

And this is what Pets4Homes appears to have forgotten:

WE, THE BREEDERS, ARE YOUR CUSTOMERS.

We pay for the adverts. We pay for the boosts. We provide the listings that attract people to the platform. Yet rather than feeling supported as a long-standing paying customer, I feel as though I am constantly having to fight simply to receive the service I have already paid for.

I have finally had enough.

After repeatedly paying for advertising that is then restricted, losing valuable sales periods and waiting unacceptable lengths of time for customer service to respond, I will now be contacting my bank regarding the payments for services I believe I have paid for but have been prevented from properly using.

Pets4Homes will no longer continue taking my money every month for advertising that I cannot rely on actually being available to me.

After years as a loyal customer, spending at least £100 every month, I am extremely disappointed that it has come to this.

Pets4Homes should be supporting the breeders who fund its platform — not taking their advertising money and then leaving their paid adverts restricted while support goes unanswered for weeks.

absolutely a waste of time.

Ive messaged a good 10-12 people about different dogs which seemingly were perfect. nearly every single one is happy to chat with me and discuss everything through fully, but the second i say i will come up visit and potentially (most likely) buy their dogs they start ghosting me and leaving me on read. I don't think a single one of these is a genuine seller but instead people just wanting to waste buyers time, drag them on, get them excited and when it comes to actually getting the dog - let them down. Im so disappointed and upset, so many of these beautiful dogs would have been perfect for my family. my triplet siblings were all excited to welcome one into our home but after all the messaging and excitement, theres never a good result by the end of it. thats if the people bother to message back at all. Starting to lose hope all together and i feel awful having to let my family down yet again.

It's so easy to selevt exactly which pet you are after from breed to distance you're ptepared to travel etc.

Selling my animals here makes me feel very safe and comfortable. I know that I can find honest and responsible new owners here, and that is the most important thing to me. It gives me great peace of mind and allows me to spend more of my time caring for my beloved cats and dogs.
So far, I have never been disappointed. Whenever there has been a problem, they have always responded quickly and done their best to resolve it positively.

The app is ok and fairly easy to use.
I paid through their website and they took payment twice. They charge £95 to use the service but their customer service is still not replying and is only online. Will not use them again

Great service fromPets4Home. The website is fairly easy to navigate, payment was really easy and fast. I’ve never used a site like this before and was honestly great from start to finish. Definitely recommend

So finding Pets for homes and how they support you as a buyer through things to ask/look for when first viewing the puppy was very reassuring
The process of payment via your site made me confident that would be supported throughout the whole transaction with the seller
