Just as well I checked on these reviews. I haven’t even had the chance to view the car. I’ve simply asked the questions about service history and work done on the car. I’ve not heard a word from them. I actually just sent another message to them. However I’ll give them a wide berth. I’ve found another car else where.
It’s often the case when you get these type of used car dealers that think they’re above customers. So reading between the lines. I would say these poor reviews are a true picture of the dealership. I won’t be giving them my cash. I always find it strange when a dealer does not show off an excellent service history in the advert. Especially when it’s a specific make of car that requires a full service history.

A terrible, unethical organisation. Sold me a car with numerous undeclared faults, which they then refused to fix, despite the car being in warranty. I am currently in the process of taking legal action.

Just purchased another car from Praters. Once again outstanding friendly and personal service. Car exactly as described and a pleasure to do business with, will certainly be using again.

Great experience with Aaron and the team at Praters. bought a 2010 plate ML350 Grand Edition from the team at Praters ON 31/12/22. We took a 70 mile trip to see the car, what a great set up, so many nice cars all in one place, really is a must see! Anyway, unfortunately a fault reared its head within 24 hours of purchase....the MIL light came on and I had a fault read to be transmission based....I'm sure the guys at Praters were unaware there was fault when car was sold to me however, as we had discussed before leaving Praters we knew there was warranty and so I called Aaron that day.....well its taken 2 months to get the car fixed at a local MB garage however Aaron has just paid for the work to be completed and my car is as good as new. If thats not a reputable dealer, then I dont know what is! Will see you again when the upgrade is due!

After looking everywhere for the car I wanted, I found it via Praters. We went to view it the same day and Aaron was nothing but courteous - offered us tea and coffee straight away and allowed us to view on a Sunday.

Upon viewing, Aaron was very friendly, allowed us to sit in the car, open the bonnet and even offered to get the car out for a test drive!

He was so helpful with waiting to hear back from us the day after and offered to hold the car - no extra fee. Within the space of 4 days, we were ready to pick up the car! Aaron has been the speediest and most helpful dealer we have ever dealt with - he fixed a dent on the car, MOT'd & Serviced all for free and even offered money for the navigation system and for some diesel.

Upon agreeing on the car and reading reviews, it makes me think we dealt with completely different people! I mean businesses live and learn and Praters have definitely provided us with nothing but high quality service. Second hand cars are just that, they will never be like a brand new car, but you should always inspect and take that into consideration and I believe the bad reviewers probably haven't thought about this. Nonetheless, the car was absolutely perfect and Aaron provided every single bit of paperwork, full service history, all ready for us on pick up and allowed us to test drive it and check it all again. Our purchase also came with a warranty of 3 months, which is comforting.

I hate to think anyone would turn away from dealing with Praters due to the odd bad reviews - one thing for sure is, people will be quick to leave a bad review over a good one - so always remember that and therefore, I felt the need to make sure I left a good review on my experience!

My previous car was purchased from CarGiant - who have terrible reviews too - but we had no problem with it, I think second hand car dealing is about self managing expectations and even so, the cars on offer at Praters were amazing and such a big range!

I would like to thank Aaron and everyone at Praters for the best experience we have had in car purchasing and we definitely will be back!

Felt compelled to write a review for the service I received when buying and selling my vehicle from this company, from the start of my experience I found them helpful genuine and professional. Bought a new truck today.
The service was amazing, very quick and easy, a good package was one together for me and even part ex'ed my old van in as a down payment.

What can I say about this company ...from the beginning they were so polite and very professionals. I got from them a Mercedes Benz and two weeks later I've got a small problem with the car ( engine light on ).
I call Mr.Aaron and he was very friendly and he told me to bring back the car and they were gone fix it...free charge I told him that I prefer to fix my car at my mechanic and he said ok, no problem only to send an invoice for repair and he will pay ... I done that and he paid for me car repair in the same day.

I travelled with my partner and a couple of friends down from Worcestershire to look at a Mitsubishi L200
Honestly driving down we all thought it was just gonna be a case of a small outfit at the side of the road selling a few trucks
We were completely wrong! As we pulled in to the entrance we were met by what looked like a extremely well looked after collection of pickup trucks in every possible style, shape, trim, make and model.
The two guys were so welcoming and made us all feel like we were the most important people. Yes we weren’t spending the most money but we were made to feel important.
We were allowed free roam of the extensive stock and could literally do anything short of pulling the vehicle apart in order to inspect.
Everything we needed was covered and let me tell you…
When these guys list the condition of a vehicle the reality matches up completely! Normally when buying you are forever finding problems that weren’t listed…
The test drive was so laid back and accommodating of testing everything I needed the truck to be able to do.
When it came down to payment it felt like a comfortable informal chat which took all the tension and nerves out of the experience.
After that we then had a further look around their stock as for a guy like me I was like a kid in a sweet shop!!!

Cheers guys I highly highly recommend and if I’m ever in the market for any of the ‘non trucks’ there is only one place I will be coming to!!!

Great selection of trucks, we didn’t have a big budget and they were very helpful with choices. Straightforward, fair, part exchange on our car.
No pressure to purchase or hard sell.

We travelled for two and a half hours to look at a vehicle and we were not disappointed by the service, selection or hospitality by all the lovely staff. They even catered for our 11 month old son who was demanding his lunch (thank you!). They were all so helpful and were in no way pressured to purchase. It was a fabulous experience and would recommend them to family and friends. Nothing was too much for them - we are very grateful and thank you so much!!

Started looking for a commercial vehicle.
After spending weeks looking private I tried Praters .
I was blow away . There stock is superb you have a choice from the lower end of the budget right to the top end .
I was nervous of getting the standard pushy dealer tactics.
This place was fantastic I was left to make my own mind up . Whilst enjoying a cup of coffee.
After purchasing I wanted to be reserved in leaving a review.
I called 2 weeks later, more to pick there brain as there very experienced .
With no real financial gain to them .
They went above all expectations to help .
Genuinely all round impressed.
These guys are a family Buisness with a very relax no hassle no pressure attitude. It was very refreshing and would definitely recommend.

Absolute joke I phoned up regarding a vehicle said they would send a video of vehicle still waiting then I see same vehicle advertised on same site for 1k more then I phone back and they tell me it is provisionally sold.??????? Complete Chancers.

Complete cowboys. Would never buy a car off them ever again or sell a car to them. Every car is just full of problems. Worse experience of buying a car I’ve ever had. Avoid this place at all cost. They seem nice while you are buying a car but as soon as you’ve brought the car and you get problems with the car they turn in to complete thugs and blame you for the car going wrong couple days after you’ve brought it. Avoid this place. Plain and simple

Disinterested salesman, spent most of his time on his phone rather than trying to sell me a car. Avoid this company like Covid !

Excellent service. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Not pushy will give you time to choose and spend time looking at the vehicles. We found the vehicle we wanted at a great price. We did have a problem six weeks later however one phone call we took the car back in, they sorted the issue and in the meantime loaned us a car to keep us going. Brilliant service, brilliant staff, brilliant company.

Purchasing our Discovery 4 from Praters was an enjoyable experience. At no point was there any pressure to make decisions, all of the staff were accommodating and we were given more than enough time to look around and test drive the car. When we noticed that the rear tyres, brake pads, and discs were low, they agreed to change them straight away with no quibbles. When we returned to collect the car, we were informed that all of the tyres had been changed! We would 100% recommend and return to Praters in the future.
