Bought 2 t shirts and a salmon polo for work on the recent sale. Got a great deal for a quality products, look and feel lovely.
Only thing is as I’m not a very lanky tall lad, the t shirts are a bit long. I love the jeans but I know as I’m on the more stocky side there’s no chance with me il getting into them so I didn’t pull the trigger.
Just want to point out that if they did like a ‘medium (short)’ sizing option for tops that would be amazing. I’m not saying for trousers do something similar because I can imagine that’s a lot of effort for minimal gain but I believe the tops can cater to many more people who enjoy the brand but look slightly off with the sizing since I’m a more built 5’9 medium than a lanky 6’2 medium.
Still love the product but if I could sew, I’d take an inch and half out the length that’s all.

Sehr kundenunfreundliches Retouren-Management
Absolut kundenunfreundliches Retouren-Management. Für ein Produkt (in meinem Fall eine Jacke für 140 €), das man zurückgeben muss, weil es nicht passt, besteht Pretty Green auf den Kosten des Versandes (für den Auftrag PLUS die Rücksendung). In meinem Fall behält PG 22 € ein - ich habe nix. Vielleicht ist auch die Herkunft der Produkte im UK ein Grund - deutsche Kunden sollten nach deutschen Händlern und kundenfreundlicheren Retouren-Policies schauen. Für mich gilt: Pretty Green nie wieder!

Appalling product. Appalling response.
It is only when something goes wrong and how a company deals with it that you get to understand what a company is really like.
I bought a pair of Leather ‘Deck’ Shoes (so called) from Pretty Green in July 2022.
I didn’t actually start wearing them until about December 2022 and even then only maybe once or twice a week. By December 2023 they were showing considerable wear under the heel where two holes had appeared and by the Spring of 2024 they were totally unusable in the wet. They are obviously not proper deck shoes, which, as I know from experience last for donkey’s years, even with regular use.
I pointed this out to Pretty Green last month asking if it was usual that a pair of their deck shoes should last for what amounts to a few months wear in total.
I received a prompt reply from someone called Joseph who went directly into defensive mode, immediately quoting the consumer act of such an such a date, only 6 months to complain, you’re out of time, rules are rules, no compensation blah, blah blah etc.
I replied to him asking what made him think I was looking for compensation and that in actual fact I wasn’t so much complaining as pointing out a problem that he might appreciate being made aware of.
I went on to say that I was of the view that I was doing the company Pretty Green a favour by pointing out what appears to be a fault with one of its products and that any reputable company would be thankful for such information and be concerned that such a lapse could happen.
Needless to say, no reply!
I realise now of course the Pretty Green is anything but a reputable company and really could not give two hoots about its customers.
As I said earlier, a company only truly shows its colours in how it responds when things go wrong.

Excessive postage and returns costs…
Excessive postage and returns costs make buying from Pretty Green non-cost-effective. Since my local store in Liverpool has closed it's made it nearly impossible to choose the perfect item and exact fit by mail order.
£5 postage, £5 return postage and a £5 return handling for something that doesn't fit is an insult.
Don't waste your money.

The quality of the pretty green is…good but sizing terrible
The quality of the pretty green is fantastic but what’s going on with the sizing is insane I used to wear medium & it was like extra large so I tried small & still massive so I tried extra small & still to big & I am not talking about the oversized stuff either I know the oversized look is cool if your Liam Gallagher or a trendy teenager both of which am sadly not!.
Please bring back real sizing for the real people cheers.

Jacket
Bought a jacket from you in oktober! One of the buttons went of the jacket leaving a small hole in it! I made a contact with custumerservice and asked if they could send me a new Button instead of send the hole jacket back! Unfortnatly it was not possible! I then asked for a small refund or discount for my next buy, but CS made It so hard I decided to just let It be! So now I used a jacket with a hole in it! PG lost a customer! Realy nice brand, but bad CS! Both parts need to be good to be a good buy!

Pretty Green used to be decent
Pretty Green used to be decent. Used to do top quality clothes. My last order, I ordered some jeans which were too big. I returned them for an exchange (while continuously checking the website to see if they were in stock, which they were) and was given a refund and told they weren't in stock. I then had to place a new order in the correct size. Bare in mind I had to pay £5 delivery for the first order, £5 to return and another £5 for the next order. That's £15 in postage alone. I got my new jeans that fit perfectly. I've worn them a handful of times and the button has popped off. I have contacted customer services to see what they can offer as I refuse to spend another £5 to return them and having to pay yet another £5 to get a new pair sent to me. I will update my review as this progresses but so far it has been an awful experience.
Update: been given a refund for the delivery costs and the return fee has been waived. I’ve requested another exchange so just got to wait to see if they are in stock this time round. Customer services have been very helpful very quickly.

I purchased a Christmas gift in…
I purchased a Christmas gift in October. I was misled into believing this was a limited edition item.
I tried to return the blanket on 4th January, only to be told that they have a 30 day return policy. This is preposterous as who would return a Christmas gift BEFORE Christmas? I was never offered a gift receipt & have been provided with inconsistent, misleading & incorrect information at every encounter. Customer service is appalling. Avoid at all costs!

I've been buying PG for years now, never ever had any issues, any returns have been dealt with, without any problems, I get a birthday discount code and Christmas gift every year, so glad PG was rescued a few years ago as I'd greatly miss them

Absolutely love this store,quality items at bargain prices,very fast delivery too. And their Customer Service is great,contact them and they reply almost immediately,and they are patient enough to check items,to give advice on sizes etc. Defo be ordering more.

Brilliant customer service, refreshing!
I just wanted to provide some feedback for Tyler and the duty manager who worked with him tonight at your Meadowhall store.
I'd been in the shop earlier in the day and bought a polo shirt. When I got home, I found another one I liked but needed it before I go away tomorrow, so I was too late to get it delivered.
I rang the Meadowhall store at 8:30pm on the off-chance they had it in stock (it was in the sale so thought it would be unlikely). Tyler answered the phone and was extremely helpful. It was such a nice change to get good customer service, as I can't remember the last time I actually received good service.
He went and looked on the rack in the shop to find the shirt, but said they might have been boxed up to send back to headquarters as it was sale stuff, to make room for new stock. He went through the boxes for me and found the shirt in both L and XL and they left them on the counter for me to try when I got there.
I drove straight to Meadowhall and got there just before closing, tried the shirt and thanked Tyler and his colleague in person and asked them what I could do as a thank you. He said he would appreciate some feedback being sent through.
If you could thank them both for me and mention that I took the time to email you as promised, that would be appreciated.
Thank you for the excellent service.
