I have had difficulties every time I've…

I have had difficulties every time I've gone to the storage facility. The first time I went there I was on lunch break and I wanted to pay for the unit I had reserved online only to be told I wasn't reserving a unit in particular, but a group of units. I told the Price associate I was short on time, but very decisive, so I asked her to just show me two units and I would pick one, which I did. After the contract was written and I was about to pay for it I noticed the price was higher than what I had reserved online. only then was I told that the unit I chose was not included in the online promo I'd reserved. they tried to make me pay more for it, but I asked that Price included that unit because it was not my error that she showed me something that wasn't. This required several calls to her supervisor. He eventually approved that unit at the price for which I reserved it, but the associate then had trouble redoing my contract because the system wouldn't except that unit for that price and required four more calls to the supervisor. My very simple request of paying for the unit I had reserved turned into a two hour ordeal and caused me problems at work.
The associates I watched interact during my first two visits to the office were not very kind to one another and they seem frustrated and unhappy. I can't say that I blame them because it seems like they aren't trained adequately.
The last time I went to the unit 4/24/18 there was a really sweet, outgoing associate in the office, but one elevator wasn't working and after dragging my cart across the parking lot the other elevator it wouldn't except my access code. I then had to drive the cart further all the way to the office to get her to let me in with her code.
The facility is clean and I feel safe I just think they need to train their staff better and iron out the details.

Obviously, some things could have been done better on your initial visit. However, it is true that not all promotions are available for all units. Thankfully, we were able to accommodate you on the pricing that you were expecting, but we regret that it took longer than expected. As for the elevator, we work with a third party for repairs and maintenance and make every effort to limit the impact to our tenants. The last thing we want is for you to be inconvenienced. We’re very sorry that your experience was less than stellar and hope that you’ll be patient while we address some of these issues and follow up with our staff to ensure they are providing you with accurate information and excellent customer care. Experience at Price all positive so far.

This is a well-laid-out and spotlessly clean facility and the staff are all friendly and helpful. Great move-in incentives. All it needs is 24-hour access and it would be near-perfect.

I was told that I had my storage unit…

I was told that I had my storage unit reserved but when I went to sign papers it was NOT reserved and had to start the process over again. Then on moving day which I had hired movers, the pass code did not work and had to go into office and reset. Also, the lock on my space did not work and had to wait 20 minutes for front office to send someone to unlock. This was extremely annoying since I had hired help that was sitting around waitng.

This is my second time renting a unit

This is my second time renting a unit. The customer service is always great. The units are clean and moving in and out is actually fast because of the use of the carts and elevators. Only negative is it's a bit pricy.

Have to get an approval for extra time…

Have to get an approval for extra time to load storage after hours which wouldn’t be a problem if there wasn’t an issue to grant it. 7pm is really too early for access to your storage if you consider people work during the day. Not to mention having management living on site. 9 pm is more fair.

Thank you for taking the time to give your honest feedback. We want you to know that our access hours have been determined after careful consideration. It has been our experience over the years, that the 7PM closing time promotes a more secure facility for all tenants and their belongings. We have found through experience that it is not in the best interest for the majority of our tenants that people to be allowed access in the later evening hours after our office is closed and management and staff are not present. We do have many properties where management is housed on the property, but those employees maintain business hours and are only available for emergencies after the property has closed. We are sorry if you have been inconvenienced in any way. We do post a 6:45PM last entry so that our staff can walk the property and ensure that all tenants have indeed exited the facility, thereby securing it for after hours. Again, thank you for your comments. We appreciate all reviews and continue to look for ways to improve.

Didn't provide a good first impression and I had to leave without a proper explanation as to why I hard time accessing the property.

Great facility/service, typical unfair/dishonest practices

Great location and great service. I’ve had multiple units here and always feel my things are safe in this clean and secure facility. The staff have ALWAYS been super friendly and helpful. The only cons are typical of any storage facility: Continuous rent increases every 6 months or so. And the highway robbery they get away with by rounding up their unit sizes. At one point I had a “ 5’X5’ “ that measured 50” X 54” I understand rounding to the nearest whole foot, but rounding up ten inches is flat out dishonest.

It is absolutely not our intention to confuse or misrepresent the size of a unit. We make every effort to approximate a unit size. I do appreciate you bringing this to our attention, it may be that we need to examine the unit and potentially reclassify the unit to a more appropriate approximation. Please note that we do disclose on our website the practice and encourage tenants to visually inspect a unit prior to signing a storage agreement.

Here is the full disclosure, which is very similar to practices in use industry wide. “Advertised unit sizes are approximations and for comparison purpose only. Units may be materially smaller or larger than the approximations provided herein or in any related advertising or other documents. The square footage size approximations provided herein or in any related advertising or other documents are quoted as nominal conventions, not actual dimensions and should be used for illustration and comparison purposes only. The unit may be uniquely or irregularly configured and may contain unique or irregular features, including without limitation, poles, bulkheads, columns, or curbs. Customers should inspect and/or measure the unit before executing a rental agreement.”
