The Cannon Maxify GX1050 that I ordered came the next day. However when I set it up there seemed to be a problem. I was helped at every stage with checking and trying to find the fault. In the end Technical Support decided to replace the printer and arrange collection of the faulty one. They rang me to arrange best day for collection and delivery.
Quick and reliable response all the way.
I now have an excellent printer and the reassurance that a personal support service is always there.

Fantastic customer service again! I placed an order for ink cartridges on 28 April. I received a courtesy call the following morning from Luis Filipe, an account manager. Luis confirmed receipt of my order and suggested an alternative brand of ink which is compatible with my Brother printer, which saved me £10! Luis was very knowledgeable and helpful. This was excellent customer service and consistent with the excellent service from Andrea Fletcher when I actually bought my printer last year. Well done again !! Robert McGregor

After doing an extensive research to find a printer that would suit my needs, I've ordered a printer from printerbase as they seemed to have high ratings and good prices. I've made the order on the 2nd of May and hoped to receive the printer after the bank holiday Monday. On Tuesday I receive a phonecall form the company asking me why I've chosen this printer and what I am needing it for. I suppose this is a kind of customer service so they can suggest a suitable printer for your needs (or get rid of their stock) in case you don't know much about printers. Anyhow, the sales rep also tried to sell me a an extra set of inks by telling me that the included ones by Canon are enough to only set up the printer and nothing else. Doing an extensive research for the model I've chosen, I already knew that Canon supplies a set of full bottles for your new printer that will last you for A LOT of prints (they claim 3000). I declined the offer for the new inks and the sales rep informed me that my printer will reach me the next day (Wednesday).
Come Friday and my printer still hasn't arrived. Also no email or any communication from printerbase, to inform me of any delay or at least an indication where my parcel was. It seemed to me that they took the payment and ignored me completely.
I got on the phone with them and spoken with Yvonne from customer service (possibly ?), asked her where my printer is and she replied that has JUST realized at that very moment that there was an error with the shipment of my printer, she gave me an excuse that Royal Mail have messed up the labels and the printer had returned back to them. I explained to her that I totally understand that mistakes happen in logistics, as I know first hand from my job - pallets can get loaded to the wrong truck at a split of a second for any stupid reason you can imagine - I get that! I wondered WHY I haven't been informed about this delay? Obviously she couldn't reply and begun throwing excuses. Not even the slightest indication of an apology, how hard can this be??? As such, I told her that it wasn't my problem and that I expected my printer to be at my door by Saturday evening - which wasn't!
Monday 11th of May and the printer finally arrived!
So printerbase:
Next day delivery : X (that's a joke)
Customer service: X (trying to flog inks by misinformation, I get it, you are business, try to find something more convincing)
Customer service support: X (an attitude of I don't care about your printer, It's Friday I want to go home soon)
Communication: X (ABSOLUTE ZERO)
Will I return for my inks, papers and maybe recommend a friend to them? ABSOLUTE ZERO!!!
Two stars only for the good price on the printer.

I did lots of research and opted for the Epson ET-5855 Eco Tank Printer. I have only just installed the printer but so far it has exceeded my expectations as to the speed and quality of an inkjet compared to my current laser printer.
I ordered the printer online and got a phone call the next morning from them to check I had ordered the right printer for my needs. I explained that I did my research and the reasons for buying such a big workhorse inkjet.
The call went on for a while and I was just about to walk into hospital for an appointment so explained i needed to go but he just carried on talking. He wanted to know all the other printers I had and was also trying to promote their own brand ink for my new printer.
I found this very disappointing as a major selling point was Epson's 5 year warranty but on registering the printer it makes it very clear that using non-epson inks can invalidate the warranty.
I explained several times I needed to go and by this point, if I hadn't already ordered and paid for the printer, I would have hung up and shopped elsewhere.
I appreciate the call to check I had the right model but after explaining several times I was just about to walk into hospital for an appointment, I was frustrated he just continued talking to gain more information on the printers in my business.
The printer was delivered promptly the next day and am happy with the purchase but will probably shop elsewhere in future.
Very pleased with the advice and service that I received from Printerbase. My new Brother Laser printer DCP-L2620DW meets all my needs

What an experience a company that gives 5 star service. I will try and keep it brief, After searching internet for ages to find a new printer none gave me the information I required, then I found Printerbase site a very good selection of printers at good prices with information I required.I ordered a printer on a Sunday received a phone call Monday to check my order and requirements, After a conversation I was given a better option thats meets my requirements so I changed order. I was contacted by Elaine who gave me delivery information and invoice, she also explained when printer arrives she will walk me through installation setup. Elaine was just wonderful had all the information and answers I required. Installed with ease. This is a company that is rare to find these days with the quality of service they provided. I just can't praise them enough, If you're looking for a printer give them a try you won't be disappointed. Thank you Printerbase for you service.

Sales lady helpful but after sales TOTALLY the opposite. 6 days on from 'Over -night' delivery promise at point of sale has become 6/7days.. Printerbase claim 2 failed attempts but I had not received a single pre-Delivery notification nor a single "Sorry we've missed you card OR email. Printerbase 's Customer services were dismissive and when that didn't work, rude and evasive insinuating dishonesty on my part .. Extraordinary and unnecessary attitude. I shall not be returning. Update: Operations Manager went above and beyond to make amends which was much appreciated.

Printerbase customer service was absolutely second to none - I received several follow up calls from Steve who checked the printer I ordered suited my requirements, talked through the cashback available on Canon printers and lastly registration for the warranty. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

A slightly frustrating experience. The website claims next-day delivery and I was assured by telephone that I would get a tracking number. (That’s why I ordered with them rather than other, marginally cheaper, websites that were less certain about next-day delivery) No tracking number came with the order confirmation.
Subsequent telephone conversations were contradictory with some of their staff claiming that the tracking number would follow shortly, and then others being unable to confirm that the printer had been sent.
It turned out that the big printer I had ordered was sent by a carrier who did not do tracking.
The printer did arrive next day so all good in the end. But frustrating due to the contradictory messages

Printerbase takes the trouble to connect from the off. I had a phone call almost immediately after I had ordered online (from a real person) to check my order then was immensely helpful when I had a question later. Printer pretty straightforward to set up and has done everything we’ve asked of it so far — automatic duplex was a key feature for me and it performs well. Excellent value, especially with the Canon cashback offer and extended warranty deal. I’d happily shop here again.
