Great service & price
Good price for a replacement Epson photo printer and a call after ordering to check that I knew about what I was getting and that it would need extra print cartridges shortly after setting up. I was aware and had already catered for (using 3rd party inks for many years). Delivery was within a few days with no problems encountered.

Had no problems from start to finish of my order.
Had no problems from start to finish of my order. The order came on time with no issues. The only problem I have is my old canon printer is taking its time to use up the ink cartridges I have left before setting up my new one.
Would definitely recommend Printerbase.

I ordered a new printer/scanner/copier. Caroline Fletcher was extremely helpful in sourcing the right machine for my needs and followed up with regular contact to confirm delivery and to make sure I claimed a rebate which was on offer with the machine I bought and register the extended warranty. Professional advice, service and products
Great service calling me to ensure the product I'd ordered was correct for me and my business. Ordered late on a Tuesday and with me Wednesday morning. Followed up with their Technical Support numbers and manufacturer warranty / contact details too. Excellent all round and the Canon Maxify GX7150 is a brilliant printer / scanner.

From the phone call to talk through my on-line order to the prompt delivery of my new printer, the whole experience was very good. I have never before had a company phone me to check that I had ordered the right appliance to fulfil my needs and to explain various aspects of the printer. Delivery was very prompt in spite of New Year disruption.

Printerbase: Selling used machines as "New"
Extremely disappointed with Printerbase. My order arrived hours late and in poor condition—the exterior packaging was filthy, and part of the seal had been broken. The inner packaging was damp with condensation and the courier was careless and placed the unit on its side instead of upright.
After using the printer I discovered a major discrepancy: while the external LCD was set to '00', the internal system report proved the unit had already printed 642 pages - far exceeding the amount i already printed. Despite management confirming it should ship with a 1,200-page toner, a 'Replace Toner' error appeared—meaning over 53% of the capacity was exhausted despite light use.
All of this was reported within 24 hours of delivery. To suggest a customer could print over 600 pages (more than a full ream) and exhaust a high-capacity toner within hours of unboxing a 'new' machine is a physical impossibility. Even more troubling was the fact the manager failed to rectify this obvious case of misrepresentation or the poor state of the delivery, he was dismissive and defensive the entire time. I would have settled with an additional toner as a resolutionThe manager attempted to 'gaslight' the situation, ignored the photographic evidence, and has now ceased communication. I am now initiating a bank dispute for 'Goods Not As Described.' Be very careful to check the internal system reports on any hardware bought from this company to avoid the stress and aggravation they caused me during a critical printing deadline

I am very sorry to hear the courier was careless, which meant your printer did not arrive in the condition you would have liked, and for the issues you encountered after that. This is certainly not the quality of service we aim to deliver, and I completely understand how frustrating this must have been, especially as you had a large number of documents waiting to be printed, as communicated to our team before dispatch.
I have carefully looked into all the points you raised and have shared the findings below.
We requested more details from our couriers regarding the delivery, and they have come back with pictures taken at the time of delivery which confirms the packaging was intact, with no seals broken.
With regards to the page count discrepancy, I have looked into this, and you did confirm with us that the page count was zero through email after unpacking and checking the printer. I can confirm all our printers are shipped brand new and sealed.
We understand your concern about the toner appearing to be partially used, and we appreciate the opportunity to investigate this for you. Following inspection of the printer upon its return, we found that the cartridge supplied was the original starter toner provided by the manufacturer. Starter cartridges are designed with a lower yield than standard replacement toners and are intended to cover average page usage.
Our checks also showed that the printer had been used for documents with a high page coverage. Higher coverage (for example, documents with large areas of solid print, graphics, or bold text) significantly increases toner consumption, which can result in the cartridge depleting more quickly than the estimated yield. Based on our inspection, there was no indication that the toner had been previously used prior to dispatch. The reduced lifespan appears consistent with the level and type of printing carried out.
We hope this clarifies the situation, but if you would like to discuss this further, we would of course be happy to help.
On the communication side, our Customer Service Manager apologised for the poor state of delivery you reported and offered to arrange an immediate collection and full refund. I understand you chose to continue using the printer at that time as you needed it.
Also, your emails were received after 6pm, which is outside our office hours (8:30am–5:30pm), and they were responded to on the next working day, but I’m sorry you felt we stopped communication.
I am conscious you are our customer and would like an opportunity to talk and make sure your concerns and issue are addressed. If you’d like to discuss this further, please contact us directly.
