My latest job was a disaster from start to finish.
Had problems uploading artwork for brochures, as tool didn't function properly.
On Friday we received only half of the business cards we ordered and got somebody else's brochures!
Managed to arrange a same day re-order for the brochures and was assured these would be sent out on an upgraded Saturday pre-noon delivery.
It's Saturday morning and DPD are showing Tuesday delivery. Monday is a bank holiday and that's when the conference is taking place that the business cards and brochures were needed for.
I've spoken to DPD and they confirm they do not have either package, even though the Route1 website shows both items as 'Despatched'.
Having messed up with the wrong delivery, it's a real shame that nobody at Route1 owned this problem to ensure the products went out as promised.
I have an exceedingly unhappy customer and it's been a massive waste of money.
Very unimpressed.

For two years in a row, every single batch of printing I have ordered from Route 1 has been delivered significantly short of the quantity I paid for.

While they will (reluctantly) process reprints for missing items, this becomes ridiculously time-consuming when you are dealing with multiple batches of different documents.

I moved to a new, honest, printing company this year, but was briefly tempted back to Route 1 after they offered a number of free printing jobs followed by a decent discount. I decided to place a relatively small order of 2,500 copies across 60 different products to clear our product pre-orders.

Every. Single. Batch. Was short again.

After experiencing exactly the same thing two years running, across a huge number of separate print jobs, it's simply not credible that this is an innocent mistake or system glitch.

I went through the tedious process of requesting reprints for some of the missing quantities, but their terrible customer service made even that so unnecessarily difficult that eventually I gave up.

Fortunately, my current printer routinely supplies 2–5% more than the ordered quantity, they seem to manage this despite us now ordering around 10,000 copies across approximately 300 different products. The Route 1 shortfalls therefore haven't caused us any real problems beyond the irritation. ONLY thanks to the company we have moved to.

Lesson learned: don't let a shoddy company lure you back with freebies, discounts and promises that things have improved. Check your quantities carefully — because with Route 1, you absolutely cannot assume you have received what you paid for.

Route 1 are a great trade printer and on our latest order Ashley was helpful and efficient at sorting out a special request so thanks Ashley!

Studio team have been absolutely brilliant supporting me with my spot uv jobs as I am not too familiar and confident with this process! Bex Taylor in particular has been very helpful to the point where i have ordered my second spot uv job in a week! I wouldn't have achieved this if it wasn't for Bex - Well done Bex, a valued team member and one that should be applauded

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Route1.

Firstly, my order was delayed beyond the agreed timeframe. Secondly, when the order was finally dispatched, 88 programme booklets were missing from the shipment. This caused a major problem because the books were required for an important event.

As a result of this issue, I lost a long-standing customer and suffered damage to my business reputation. I explained the situation and asked Route1 to consider compensation for the losses caused by their mistake. However, they only refunded me for the missing booklets and did not offer any compensation for the disruption, the loss of my customer, or the damage to my business.

Mistakes can happen, but I believe the way a company responds is what matters most. Unfortunately, I was left feeling that the impact on my business was not taken seriously.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Route1 for time-critical printing jobs.

Service is always incredible, brilliant customer service, Route1 always has a solution!

Bex was super helpful, resolving a small issue regarding cutter for decal stickers. It's so nice to work with real people :)

After requiring a range of products for customer events, all I can say is that Route 1 Print offers fantastic prices, great customer service and excellent quality. Perfection personified.

We had a few queries with our artwork for presentation folders and Bex assisted in sorting everything out, extremely helpful!

Very helpful staff, very rare issues but if there is any they are resolved in no time, Steph is very helpful and professional.
