Went to The Springcroft in Glasgow. I haven't been here for a long time as we thought it had gone down in quality. Well I don't know what's happened more recently but everything was fantastic!! The food was SO good. We all thoroughly enjoyed what we had and will most definitely be back soon! A great night catching up with friends!

Use Maxwell in Loughborough excellant pub. But 2026 no aircon. Every one using the menu as a fan. Just been revamped so you would think aircon would have been fitted. Staff great food great. But dont recomend eating there when high temp. Feel sorry for staff working in then conditions

This is about ArmytAge Arms in Clifton, Brighouse. At the moment there is a lot of work being done on the outside of the building, but I think they should concentrate more on the inside and the food instead. We haven’t been since they changed the whole staff, and the food now is not good. The staff are slow in clearing and cleaning tables, not many customers any more. We overheard somebody saying “we’re not coming here any more “! The tables are horribly sticky and the furniture needs an update, full of hole in the upholstery. Cannot be recommended any more! 😡

Went to our local the Stanley in Huyton shocking been going for years never again.The worse food we have had in all the years going there,they forgot my youngest granddaughters meal all together so she had to eat on her own we had finished long before her meal came.The had a girl serving on the bar who looked like she had been taking drugs talking to a local she was swearing her head off and there were children at the bar with their parents waiting to be served. Ruined my wife's birthday treat never again since Steven as left its gone right down.

Fish and chips was poor quality and also chicken dinner

Just visited the Bruce in Falkirk and another meal for us and the grandchildren. Great food and service. 3 adult meals and 2 children’s and drinks £45. Fantastic, staff friendly and attentive.Well worth the visit

Kitchen closes when it wants to

We went to the Hop Pole pub Willerby tonight for a meal and what a lovely experience we had. We were served by a lovely pleasant and very helpful girl, Laura who was very chatty and smiled throughout our time there, the manager was also very pleasant and came over for a chat, in fact all the staff were great and a credit to the pub. The food was good too and I would definitely recommend.

Norton pub, Sheffield, the staff are very friendly and helpful, new manager is friendly and always smiling, lovely atmosphere

Visited The Fluke, Inverness for a meal with friends and downloaded their App for the 10% discount. The App would not work so missed out on the discount as the Till does not have an over-ride button to allow for this.
I contacted customer services via email and their solution is to phone them when the App is not working. I mean, who can be bothered to do that? Just fix your App, no? A simple 10% voucher via email or the App would have resolved my issue but customer service failed to offer this or any other resolution. Poor response, IMO.

In for a few beers. Ordered food at 7.20 pm told kitchen shut.
Absolutely shocking when advertised for 8 pm.

Worst service ever at the Holymere in Sunderland. Food takes ages to arrive, mixed up orders, overcooked food. Not enough staff to meet demand. Will never go again after being a customer for 10+ years. The place has gone massively downhill since the previous manager left. Complained to Sizzling pubs and am yet to receive a response.

We visited The Park pub at Hillsborough Sheffield on the afternoon of 16th April. We had a wonderful experience, the staff, the food and drink were all excellent. Nat the manager was so helpful and friendly, can't fault the place

Visited The Bay Horse Inn, Cramlington on 13th April for lunch. Arrived around 1.30pm. A member of staff, sitting at a table, who took a while to acknowledge us and then just said “sit at any table”. No direction that there was an app or pay at the bar. After sitting for 10 minutes trying to get the app to work I went to the bar and placed the order - kids burger, kids nugget, kids desserts, 2 crispy chilli chicken on a skillet with chips and then drinks (no receipt provided). Restaurant was not busy. Food took 45 minutes to arrive and the chicken was halomi. Went to the bar to advise that this was not what was ordered. Bar staff (different from the person I placed the order) went to the kitchen to check and then came to our table to advise that she would get the correct order out as quickly as possible. Crispy chilli chicken then arrived in 10 minutes. Staff member also then returned with the kids desserts and thumped them down on the table. When leaving the original server was standing near the door and never even acknowledged us leaving. Very poor service. Will not return.

Blue Bowl Pub Hanham Bristol. Poor customer service. We visited yesterday with my disabled mother in law who was in a wheelchair as unable to walk. If we did not have her with us, we would of walked out. The lady who served us at the bar, was extremely rude. I ordered our drinks, and she then started arguing with me, saying I never asked for lemonade with my J20 which I always have in a pint glass topped up with lemonade. When I pointed out she hadn't put the lemonade in my J20, she said to me you never asked, I know I definitely did, but despite stating that, she continued to argue with me, even in front of 2 other members of staff. WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

I ordered my food through deliveroo whom I have placed a seperate review for. I had nothing but issues with deliveroo however Friendly forester provided great service and even recooked my order as deliveroo had taken so long to collect it that I went to collect it myself. I strongly recommend this pub, great smiley service and they provided me with advice to order my food in future through a different merchant to prevent the issues i had with deliveroo.

lovely welcome from staff, pleasant atmosphere in dining area, found out the managers name from the next table, he was serving and clearing up, very calm, even though it was busy, always smiling.
will certainly be back again.

Huge bargain mothersday treat at £28 for 4 with drinks !
