I had lost track of a pension and was ringing to see if Smart Pension could help. I spoke with Orly who quickly located me in their system. She updated all my contact details and set me up to use the app. She was very thorough and professional. All in all it was a very positive experience.

Called Smart Pension today to clarify some things and spoke to Shola. She was very professional and kind, answered all my questions and put my mind at ease. In addition to this their app is user friendly and gives access to all information I need. Highly recommended.

Smart Pension have somehow managed to turn what should have been a very simple pension transfer into an exercise in unnecessary admin.
I submitted two transfer requests and provided all the information required. I was then told that the transfers could not be processed because my employer had not yet enrolled me in the scheme.
Fair enough. I contacted my employer, they confirmed that I was in the process of being enrolled and I went back to Smart Pension expecting them simply to continue processing the transfer requests they already had once the enrolment was complete.
Apparently not.
Instead, I have now been told that I need to resubmit both transfer requests from scratch, despite Smart Pension already having all the necessary details.
Why?
Absolutely no idea.
It seems the existing requests cannot simply be held pending until enrolment is completed or reinstated once eligibility has been confirmed. No, the customer gets to repeat the whole process instead. Because obviously my time is considerably less valuable than theirs.
I explained that resubmitting information I have already provided is a waste of my time, but their position remains that I have to do it all again.
As a result of their complete lack of helpfulness, I have given Smart Pension a 1-star review.
That’ll teach ’em 😌

As expected STILL not able to see any of my funds, looks like this company are on the rob, so be aware people, they have had 3 months worth of funds out of me, and not one can be found, no account details, no funds. Time to get in touch with the pensions regulator,
Oh and also spread the word not to use these companies that scam you out of your hard earned money

I spoke to Laura today, as my emails had been hacked into and I was locked out of my account. She was really helpful and kind and made me feel ease, the email address had already been changed from the ticket I logged the day before. I am really happy with the service!

Brilliant
A lot of fustration with obtaining access to smart pension as my company had provided a wrong email. After 3 weeks of fustration and since retired from the company. I went strainght to smart pension and within 10 minutes, I was up and running. Such a relief. Brilliant service over the phone.
