I got what I ordered, it just took a while. It would have been nice to have some correspondence. Like I said though I got the weights and they're perfect for me.

Communication needs a serious upgrade it took forever to get a response from them and it took 16 working days to get m all of my products and when they arrived the plates weren’t in the best of conditions and the bar and plates overall are not great quality but if you want cheap equipment for a high price go right ahead but if you want gym equipment for a cheap price and ok quality go somewhere else maybe look for 2nd hand equipment

Better communication needed.. There were delivery issues, and getting a response was challenging. That said when the weights arrived they were fab.

2 ok the 20kg weights I ordered do not fit the bar I ordered from Spartan. Very disappointing.

They did not reply to my emails for 3 weeks, and I finally got the delivery and it was all wrong! Now, they haven't replied to my email asking for a refund for the items that never arrived. I have no idea if I am getting those items or if I am getting my money back. I also have no idea if they even KNOW that they sent the wrong delivery. It is the worst experience I have had as a customer anywhere.

Terrible Customer Service!
No matter the issue it is 100% the customers fault. Reviews on Facebook have been switched off.
Avoid rather than refund for the shipping issue they requested the products were returned. Meaning I would be out of pocket for return shipping to them as they do not have to refund that.
I am paying the £40 return shipping to have them powder coated.
If you have a garage gym these weights are not for you.

I initially emailed you to give feedback about the protective packaging being poor. Your ignored the email and messenger. I then raised a pp dispute because your CS was so poor. You then blamed me 100%, if you had said in future we will improve the packaging that would have been enough and I would have had no issue with the rust, your response was arrogant and superior. The protection was inefficient for the raw metal and the courier dumped them in our garden and it had rained for a week, we didn't know they were there, this was all our the customers fault..... If the packaging had been decent the raw metal would not have gotten wet and then rusted.

Reply to edited comments by Spartan! Can we see how spartan deals with customers, again showing it is not spartans fault but the customers. The PP dispute was done and amazingly you replied to my fb messages, the very same day, there was no resolution as you just kept on 100% blaming me so I escalated the claim for a refund of the postage. The initial email and fb messages were the 10th Nov, you replied on the 14th after I initiated the dispute. I have these facts on my side. You are not doing yourself any favours here, as I have basically stated and you are demonstrating with your replies that this is 100% my fault, even though you only covered the raw metal in cardboard and the courier you used dumped them in my garden ands I didn't know they were there. Its ok you can blame me, it seems to be your preferred CS.

I ordered 20kg Olympic Bar and Weights plate set- delivered on time even in lockdown.

Great kit and customer serwice team. So excited to start using my kit. 5 stars all round. Must go to company for quality gym gear at reasonable prices!

Can't wait to get hench and get on dating apps now ready for life post Corona.

Just received the order that cost me roughly £450 after 25 days of waiting in which I was told on two separate occasions it should be with me on by a certain date and it just didn't show up.

Awful communication, replies quicker to Trustpilot reviews than to customer emails.

No complaints about the items themselves when they arrive though, but the whole point was to be able to train during lockdown and I've basically spent the entire of lockdown waiting.

Refunded my delivery fee eventually when contested through PayPal.

Wouldn't use again.

Coronavirus is definitely a factor that has affected my experience with Spartan Gym Gear but Coronavirus definitely is not a scapegoat for all of the issues I experienced.

Spartan's customer service is the main reason for my rating here as the customer service and communication was poor, however the product is actually quite good. I chased after an update on my order and I was made aware by the Instagram team (after leaving a comment on a post and by a couple of other individuals asking for updates after long delays and no replies to emails, which have since been deleted by Spartan) that I should expect responses to my emails from the Customer Support team within 3-4 working days, which I wasn't aware of prior. After this I ended up waiting 6 working days for a reply to my email which I received late on a Saturday evening. A couple of other problems happened with my order but I don't believe they were 100% in Spartans hands but the explanation seemed a bit of a fob off.

As a part of the mishap I was offered an upgrade to a new competition bar that Spartan had in stock which would mean I would receive my order quicker... but I would have to pay extra. I had already spent a large sum on the gear I ordered and after the problems I felt it was quite unreasonable to be asked to pay extra for an upgrade 17 working days after I placed my order although Spartan said "you are under no obligation to upgrade" after waiting almost 4 weeks and paying a considerable amount for delivery I was desperate to finally receive it.

After the problems Spartan did waive the upgrade fee for the bar which pulled it back for them and I finally received my order on the 19th working day.

Ordered full set of raw steel. Expected to be waiting quite some time but after one week the items were dispatched and then came extremely quickly from there. Very happy with the plates. Would use again.

2 weeks since ordering and still nothing, took 6 days to get a response from email to which my questions weren't answered. Pretty shocking customer service. Not just me thats had an issue with this company ive got a few friends that have waited 3-4 weeks now and still nothing

Was told my order would be despatched on Monday still no despatch email 2 days later. Hoping is resolved soon as the weight do look good quality I understand times are different but it’s false hope

Still not received the goods as promised. Now already at twice the advertised delivery time.

Unfortunately still not received product at 18 days post ordering. No response from last 3 emails.

Still hoping product is worth wait.

Day 20....bar finally delivered but still no plates and still no response from the company..seems they have given up on customer service

Very happy with the bar and weights I received. Great quality and good to use. Delivery was a bit erratic and slow but under the current circumstances that’s more understandable. However, an overall good experience and quality products!

Ordered a standard bar with 2 sets of the Olympic plates. Later upgraded to the knurled bar and am so glad I did, it’s amazing.
Over the moon with the product and the customer service. No complaints at all, definitely worth the wait!

Received my weights nice slimline design very happy and good price

Ordered the raw weight and barbell set. The weights are excellent quality - exactly what I was looking for. The barbell is a little bit rough and ready but it does the job well. The quality is fine for a raw set.

Delivery was trackable by UPS and arrived in good condition and relatively quickly (during coronavirus pandemic).

Would be happy to order from them again. Excellent service.
