Beautiful designs, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing.

I relied on Spoonflower's wallpaper calculator to determine how much wallpaper I needed for my project. Although customer service insists the calculator was technically correct, I found the ordering process confusing and misleading. I ordered 12-foot panels because that was the length my walls required, but the calculator's recommendation was apparently based on 6-foot panels. As a result, I ended up with far more wallpaper than I actually needed. Despite relying on their own ordering tool, Spoonflower would not work with me on a return or any reasonable resolution. Also, if you need additional rolls it will not match. Ordered additional rolls three days later, and it doesn't match.

I was also underwhelmed by the quality of the wallpaper itself. Compared with wallpaper I've purchased from other manufacturers, Given the premium price point, I expected a higher-quality product.

The designs are beautiful, and that's the reason I'm giving two stars instead of one. However, between the confusing ordering process, the lack of flexibility from customer service, inability to match (they do not use lot numbers) and the paper quality, I won't be ordering from Spoonflower again. There are too many other wallpaper companies offering better materials and a more customer-friendly experience.

I ordered a very expensive ($150) 2’ x 9’ sheet of grass cloth wallpaper to line a cabinet. The website picture showed what appeared to be normal looking “natural” grass cloth. First, the shipment did not arrive as scheduled. I had to reach out to the company for an update. The company did respond and refunded my $7 shipping fee. When the product arrived, I was shocked to see that it looked like a snake print more than grass cloth. I reached out to the company requesting refund but they have a standard disclaimer that orders are custom so their company is not liable. The website stated that I should have ordered a sample first. I didn’t order a sample because grass cloth SHOULD be straightforward, in my opinion. I should not have expected to receive something that looked more like a snake print computer printed on grass cloth background. My trust is broken in this company’s ability to deliver a product that should traditionally look a certain way.

I can find fabric I am looking for from fabulous designers at spoonflower - locally fabric is limited to choose from and being a starter quilter I love the quality of the fabric from spoonflower. I actually need more fabric - can’t even find striped blue and white fabric locally due to holidays in Utah - lot of quilters in Utah

Great customer service. Beautiful, artistic wallpaper and fabric- I use Spoonflower for all my decorating needs.

My first panel of wallpaper wasn't sticking, but I reached out to Spoonflower online and Amber helped solve my problem in the chat. Luckily, I just hadn't wetted the glue enough, and I was able to save the first panel. The rest of the job went easily.

My quilting story began in January 2024 and when I discovered “Petal Signature Cottons” from SpoonFlower, everything changed for the best. The quality is out standing and the breath of pattern choices extensive. While they only offer on-line customer service I can confirm it is at a 5-star level. I’ve used Spoonflower wallpaper on multiple experiences and have had excellent experiences in the past. My last experience was not. I ordered a pre-pasted wallpaper and the first roll in there were areas that there was no paste. I had to purchase paste and go that route to adhere to the wall. Also, the pattern was off and every single piece had to be “messed” with. The only offer I received was to replace the one roll without the paste. Not happy with this purchase and would be hesitant to order from Spoonflower again.

.y question was as to whether they carried the wallpaper adhesive. They only do the paper, but he told me what kind to use and routed me to the help link about how to hang the paper. Very pleasant. I am so excited to get my paper! Thanks Spoonflower

I tend to look for fabric subjects that cannot be found in quilt stores. I often find something I really like on Spoonflower and will buy coordinating fabrics at my local shop.

Be Warned: Will Not Stand By $700 Defective Product if Opened After 30 Days

I am writing this to warn other homeowners and contractors about Spoonflower's policy regarding manufacturing defects.I did my due diligence and ordered samples from Spoonflower before committing to purchasing 12 rolls of their prepasted wallpaper for a home remodel, spending over $700. Because my remodel took time, the wallpaper remained safely rolled up inside its original shipping packaging until the room was ready for installation 12 months later.When my professional installer finally unrolled the rolls to begin the job, we discovered major factory defects: there was a heavy black line blemish running straight through the middle of one roll, and the pattern scaling was completely off between the different rolls, making it impossible to align or install at all. Despite this being an undeniable manufacturer printing defect and not damage caused by me, Spoonflower completely refused to replace the defective rolls or credit the over $700 I spent.If you are buying from Spoonflower for a remodel, know that they will not stand by the quality of their product or help you if a printing mistake is discovered outside their strict timeline. Inspect every square inch immediately upon delivery, or better yet, buy from a company with fairer customer policies for expensive, made-to-order decor.

I experienced color variation between samples and product. Spoonflower acknowledged this and provided store credit.
Spoonflower ‘s customer service reps were understanding, gracious and very expedient with their communications.
In the end, my decorating project turned out wonderful.

Spoonflower was so helpful when I contacted them about a less-than-perfect print job. I'm usually thrilled with what I receive but, this time, there was a flaw. I sent pics and they responded right away. No arguing or excuses, just an offer to refund or reprint. If only every company was as straightforward and honest!

Spoonflower always has beautiful prints, exactly as shown online. The quality is really nice. This is my third order of their products and each one has been so well received. The fast delivery was so much appreciated. I wish they were a bit less expensive, but they really are very nice.

I love all the fabric I have bought from you. Thought I was ordering ice cream cones. It was penis's in cones. My friend over the fabric things I made with it. I like that it comes faster now

Spoonflower is awesome! The quality of the fabrics I get is exactly what I have come to expect and when there is an issue (usually not their fault) they are quick to respond and resolve it!

Poor quality adhesive, wallpaper started bubbling after a few weeks. I've hung wallpaper multiple times before without issue - this is the first time I've had a bubbling issue. I was excited about the beauiful Spoonflower design, but a beauiful design does not overcome paper & adhesive quality issues. $900 worth of paper has to be torn off now and redone.
Note: I prepped the wall as instructed and as I have done with my past wallpaper installations (I actually clean the wall twice and wait a week between cleaning to ensure a clean and secure application). There is no reason I the paper should have bubbled liked this. I've even bought a syringe and wallpaper glue to inject glue behind the paper on one wall to try and salvage it and remove bubbles but it doesn't work (at least not on this paper).

Pros: Beautiful design, Nice thick paper, Easy to hang

Cons: Pricey, Weak adhesive, Bubbles started forming within 3 weeks and it continues to worsen, Basically have to tear down and start over.

Waste of money. Honestly must cheaper wallpapers are better than this. I've bought wallpaper from Target that I had no issues with. Hanging it is harder b/c the paper is thinner but who cares if it stays on and doesn't bubble after install. I'd rather have to work harder on the installation than to have this bubbling issue. The most gorgeous paper looks like crap when it bubbles like this.
