Luckily, I knew nothing of this company's earlier problems when I placed my order in August 2020, or else I might have had second thoughts.

I'm glad I went with them. The sales team was great, advising on the various glass and post options. The product was delivered to spec and on time. They talked us through the perils of drilling through tiles and how to avoid problems. My builder, who carried out the installation, was also impressed with the product and help provided.

Really helpful sales team and quick efficient installation. The end product looks great.

We have just had our handrail system fitted to our new office and I cannot fault the service we've had from start to finish.

I can highly recommend SHS !!!!

Due to the chaotic nature of our builder our project remained unfinished for two years. I recently decided to try and finish it myself. SHS had since stopped supplying this system, but went out of their way to locate some parts for me to get my job done. Much appreciated. Thanks

I bought this glass balustrade system a few years ago and it looks fantastic on my deck and had no problems. I recently scratched the steel handrails and despite the length of time since purchase, I still got excellent after sales care from Joanne Seabrook who gave advice on how to polish out the scratches.

I had read a number of negative reviews about SHS under previous ownership but needn’t have worried. From order through survey to final installation the service has been excellent and well managed by Nicki. And the finished installation is exactly as promised and looks even better than expected. I would thoroughly recommend SHS!

This company went through some tough times which kept me from giving a rating of 1 star.

They were very quick to take my money (unfortunately even knowing they were in very big trouble and a high risk of me not receiving anything), followed closely by silence and fobbing off during many months of trying to locate my order.

Once the troubles had cleared the service improved and the product was of a good standard.

Just had our Balustrade fitted and it looks amazing! Great quality product at a good price. The sales team were very knowledgeable and provided advice where needed. The installation guys were very professional and quick to fit. I would certainly recommend using this Company.

Recently installed an Elegance system and had a great experience despite ordering deep in lockdown. Big thanks to Adam, Bev & Gary for all their help. One panel of glass had a very small mark but kudos to Gary for ordering a replacement without me asking. I wasn't aware of the recent past of the company but if definitely didn't impact my order. Would I use and recommend based on my personal experience - yes. System is up and looks great with everything as ordered. Thanks guys.

We are delighted with our new glass and steel balustrade in our garden. SHS customer service was excellent and they fitted 3 weeks ahead of schedule. The installation team were very professional and clean and tidy. We would highly recommend this company.

I ordered my balustrades early March at a pretty good price, and they finally arrived (well nearly all arrived) mid July due to supply delays with Covid. Was not aware they had previously gone into administration which only just established having read Trustpilot reviews! I installed the railings myself with my son and now almost completed.
The main gripe I had was with their delivery Co(Tuffnells) who seem to have mislaid most of the extra items I ordered with SHS. Assistance was at hand with both Emma,Jo,Nicki and finally Gary who pulled out the stops to ensure I could complete the project and sent me the missing items speedily by Royal Mail or my own nominated courier Co to the Isle of Wight (not an easy place to despatch to).
Anyhow,they look great and the quality was pretty good compared to other systems I have worked with.
I had to purchase a pipe cutter and a better set of cutting shears for the wire rope (than the ones they supplied) from Amazon which made the task much easier. Frustrating though it was initially,issues got sorted with some persistance and willingness on their part. It came alright on the night.

Shockingly bad from start to finish. Customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Don’t respond to phone messages left or emails most of the time. She is just not interested in resolving my issues which began with delays as a result of the new owners ‘honouring’ existing orders. Understandable yes. But, and here’s the thing, You would expect them to deliver the right glass? You would expect them to deliver the fixings? You might even expect that the ‘stainless’ steel was stainless? Come on . Is this too much to expect? Apparently so. After complaining repeatedly about the pathetic service delays wrong spec glass and the rusting parts all I got in response was ‘oh we are just honouring the order placed on the original company, nothing to do with us so request compensation via your credit card company’ . What??? . Didn’t pay by credit card!! Then asked for the contact details of a director to escalate beyond the incompetent I’ve been dealing with . No response. So take my advice. Avoid SHS if you want any kind of basic stainless steel product that supposed to live up to the name. Maybe they should re name the company RHS ....Rusting Handrail Systems
