Praise does not come naturally to me, yet the Bristol Bedmister store is a gem. I've been looking for quality hiking boots for some time. Visits to the usual chain stores disappointed: limited stock and, even if I found a good boot, they would only stock full sizes but not half sizes. Or I could have any size as long as it was 6, 8 or 12... I thought I'd give Taunton Leisure a go with low expectations. Surprise! The three models I wanted to try were in stock and, wait, not just in my usual size but also size up and size down to try, just in case. Staff competent and helpful. I've been back for other items since and will visit again for sure.

Great customer service as always. They stock some excellent equipment, sometimes it's worth paying a bit extra for higher quality products.

Great support from the on-line team in terms of selecting the best softshell jacket option for what I wanted. Unfortunately, I have found I need to size up as the Medium was too tight for my 38"chest with any mid layer on underneath, so will be returning

The RAB jacket was of course as advertised but the delivery was impressive. I think it was 8 days delivery quoted but in the end it was only 3 days after ordering that my jacket arrived. Free P&P as well.
