Brilliant service once again at Harrogate. I can hear clearly now!! I've had this done several times at Harrogate always with positive outcome. Really nice and friendly too

I’m delighted with the earwax removal treatment I received at Stirling by Stephen back in December 2024 and consequently took my wife along to have right her ear cleaned which was damaged by radio therapy treatment 25 years ago and had to attend ENT at Forth Valley Royal Hospital every 6 months and later reduced to once a year and latterly she was having difficulty getting an appointment, so she decided to give the Hearing Clinic UK a try after my experience and was delighted. In 25 years of attending an NHS hospital she was only once given a hearing test and very pleased to have it done after her ear had been cleaned. She’ll be back again in July, and back to 6 monthly appointments as was her original regime with the NHS

Went to the Glasgow clinic (24 Vincent Street) for a consultation due to diminished hearing. The service, treatment and staff were all excellent and my hearing had been substantially restored after my visit. Would highly recommend to anyone having any issues with hearing, sustained or intermittent.

I have been having some discomfort in one ear which I wanted some advice about. Jo was very thorough at working though the possibilities and removing the wax, retesting my hearing (which she had done a few moths before) to eliminate other potential issues first. As always, very professional, knowledgeable and friendly.

As on previous visits the service provided by Jo was excellent. Everything was explained clearly and the wax removal carried out quickly and efficiently and without any discomfort. She always makes one feel welcome and gives the impression that nothing is too much trouble.

Went to Harrogate clinic for ear wax removal. Tony was great. Showed me my ears on the screen before the procedure. Then after the procedure showed me how clear my ears were. He was very gentle and explained everything. Great service from him.

TL;DR They didn't get my confidence or trust. I went elsewhere subsequently and got better service.

I'm 68 and this was my first visit to a hearing specialist.
My experience was at Shrewsbury branch.

First appointment with the wax technician Jade was all good and clear. She referred to herself as "only" the wax technician a few times and when I enquired about pricing she told me that the audiologist wouldn't waste her time with specifying cheap hearing aids. Fair enough. I was impressed. It went downhill from there.

At the second appointment I met the audiologist. She explained that my first appointment was just a filter to get rid of non starters so the audiologist doesn't waste her time with them, and she also referred several times to Jade as "only a technician" and stated that her tests results were insignificant.

She made other political comments that riled me and interrupted the session to take a call about her domestic pets.

She gave me one test and explained that this was just a getting to know you session and I would have had to come back at least twice more before I'm fixed up.

I have a feeling this process is a tactic to exploit investment bias - the one where the punter has invested so much effort in getting to the point of sale that he ends up buying out of exhaustion irrespective of price.

I note that the audiologist doesn't waste her time but my time is not significant it seems. I immediately booked two appointments with competing organisations, both of whom I have given 5 star reviews here for comprehensive testing, and explanations about both my condition and prices.

I won't be wasting any more of THC's time.

I had a five minute consultation to be told I had no wax and needed to return to GP which was fine but was then charged £50.

Appointments are on time and everything is always explained to the patient and with modern equipment it couldn't be better

I had been suffering from deafness for some months and found a local branch of the hearing clinic at Shrewsbury. The techician there cleaned my ears out and discovered an underlying issue that my G.P. had missed. This enabled me to get get my hearing back. So pleased with the professional service provided!! 😊😊

Chris Stone's assessment of my hearing loss was far more in depth and comprehensive than I'd experienced previously with NHS audiology services. He very carefully explained why he was doing each test and what the results meant for me and my hearing. His care is highly patient-centred and I couldn't be happier with the service he provides.

Fitting appointment was relatively short and thorough. Clinic explained all the options about making the purchase. Taking out the finance meant there was no barriers. Think I received the best service possible.
