Product still in date by months but one hard lump

Ordered the 10th of september, didn't receive anything yet (it's now the 1st of October) Reached out to them by email where the shipment is, the admin email and a personal email, but didn't receive a reply. Shipment is not trackable and they also do not reply via Facebook. I doubt if I'll receive my order. I'll not recommend this company!

I had absolutely no issue. People complaining that they got subscription must have tick a box accidentally while ordering. Ice cream sandwiches were my absolutely favourite.

Incredibly delicious snacks! Taste like the perfect fresh summer berries but with the satisfying crunch! I can't have cereal without them now! I actually look forward to cereal each morning so that I can put these delicious snacks on top!

I placed an order for the mixed sampler because I wanted to use the fruit in my summer drinks. It works really great for that and they really do have a great product. Three months later, with no forewarning, I got an order confirmation for another box. I reached out because I didn't understand what was happening. They said I had sign up for a subscription. I don't remember doing that, but okay. They said they would cancel it for me. Then I got the shipping confirmation. I explained I still had plenty of product left and didn't need more, and they sent me a link for recipes. The point wasn't that I didn't know what to do with the stuff, the point was I didn't really need any more product.
I spent a half hour looking everywhere to cancel my subscription, but couldn't find it, so I wrote back asking they cancel my subscription and that I didn't want anymore shipments, and any further charges would be disputed with my credit card. That's when I got a super snarky response that they already said in the FIRST email they would cancel it for me. I thought they meant the shipment, but they meant the subscription.
If this is how they treat people confused by their process, vague communication, and surprise shipments, it can't be a well-run company. Buyer beware.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing from The Rotten Fruit Box, a company that caught my attention with its unique approach to sourcing fruit from local farms. Instead of letting perfectly good produce go to waste, they acquire it from farmers and use freeze-drying techniques to extend its shelf life. What struck me the most was not only their admirable mission but also the exceptional quality of the items I ordered.

I opted for their Bits and Pieces pouches, which are perfect for adding to various dishes. To my delight, some of these pouches even contained sizeable fruit chunks, making them even more appealing. The best part was that these items were available at discounted prices.

While my initial intention was to purchase loquats, I ended up exploring their wide range of offerings. The loquats turned out to be everything I had hoped for - crunchy, light, and naturally sweet. They surpassed my expectations in every way. I even tried rehydrating a couple of them in my drink, and it was AMAZING!

Despite the distance, the shipping process was surprisingly swift, considering that the package came all the way from Portugal. I placed my order on May 27, 2023, and received it promptly on June 7, 2023. Such efficiency only added to my overall satisfaction with the purchase and the company itself.

I am genuinely thrilled with my experience and eagerly look forward to future purchases from The Rotten Fruit Box. Their commitment to rescuing quality produce while providing exceptional taste is truly commendable.

Great products, the freeze dried berries are my favourites. Nothing extra, no additives, pure berries and fruits.

My first box was delivered in less than 2 weeks and I was wowed by how great RFB’s products are! I’ve had other brands of freeze dried fruits before, but RFB’s dried fruits are better than anything else I’ve tried - so concentrated in flavour, without the cloyingness of added sugar or fake anything. The soup (carrot) was yummy and I’ve been adding their bits and dust to granola and yoghurt and am loving it. I still have lots to try, but I know already that there are things I will definitely order again.

The taste of these snacks is incredible! One of the first boxes I received had included a handwritten note thanking me for my business! How nice is that?!

I purchased a box, afterwards I wondered if it was a subscription or not so I checked my account with their website online. No mention of any subscription. I checked several more times over a couple months, no subscription listed. Then I received a notice that they were charging me for another box. I immediately emailed them to cancel the subscription and stop the purchase. They did not respond for a week, and finally after multiple emails they said they would cancel the subscription. They would not comment on the current order, and I requested they cancel it and refund my card. They ignored me. I emailed several more times. I messaged them on facebook and instagram as well. No answer. No reply. They charged my card anyway even after I told them I did not want the delivery and requested the cancellation. Their lack of customer service is very unprofessional and their website should allow you to see subscriptions and to amend them easily. I would never buy from them again.

I have placed several orders with this company, and each time, the order has been delivered , all the way from Portugal within 5-6 working days. Whilst not as speedy as next day Amazon, dies it really matter when you are getting such good quality products.
Everything I gave tried so far has been delicious. From the freeze dried fruit to the soups and rice dishes.
As a prepper, I will be ordering more and putting some away each month as emergency food, due to the fact that it can last in its freeze dried state for years without going off.

My box of fruit arrived from Portugal yesterday and I am already struggling not to just rip open all the pouches! Have had some blackberries today and can confirm that they are light, crispy and absolutely packed with the right flavour - freeze dried but tastes as though I've just picked them off the bush myself. Packaging is beautiful too - nothing rotten about this enterprise. I'll be ordering again :-)

The products are great as always! I like to snack after lunch at work and dont want to eat chips or unhealthy choices. The Rotten Fruit Box is the perfect choice. Healthy and natural. Have ordered several times and will again. Thanks!!!

Loved the taste of all the fruit I ordered. I love the idea that I can eat fruit all year around without them getting rotten! And the flavors when they’re freeze dried are multiplied by 10! I also love the sense of humor the boss of the company has, he’s hilarious! Love it, will order more!

I'm in love with this company! My very favorite products are the raspberries and the strawberries! I can't get enough! So, soooooo good! 😋
