Very lovely chocolate but would be perfect if there wasn't GMO soya added unnecessarily to the ingredients which is very bad for the human body. It is a bit pricey too.

If your experience with Tony's has been less-than-perfect, we'd love the chance to put things right before you leave us a review.. So pop an email to mailuk@tonyschocolonely.com, and our Choco Fancare team will work their magic. Tony’s Chocolonely is an impact company that makes chocolate, committed to ending exploitation in cocoa. And not just the cocoa in our chocolate, but in all chocolate worldwide. Tony's Chocolonely was founded in 2005 by 3 journalists from the Dutch TV show ‘Keuringsdienst van Waarde’ after they discovered that the world’s largest chocolate manufacturers were buying cocoa from plantations that used illegal labor. Since then, we've dedicated our efforts to raising awareness of and eliminating inequality in the cocoa industry, becoming the #1 chocolate brand in the Netherlands. With incredibly tasty chocolate, we lead by example and show the world that chocolate can be made differently: in taste, packaging and the way we do business with cocoa farmers. Starting with paying them a higher price. Alone, we’ll end exploitation in our cocoa supply chain, but together we can change the industry across the globe. That's why we invite everyone to join our commitment. 'Cause it's only together that we'll end exploitation in cocoa.

Easter egg is not an egg but an odd flat thing - very disappointing and feels like a rip off . Have bought many bars of TC before but this has really put me off …. I will return to Green and Blacks
Miserable Name, Miserable Flavour.
The name Chocolonely, you may they had mispelt Chocoloney which would be a fun name bringing joy.
As a matter of fact, the company intended to use the word 'lonely' to highlight the misery the coco industry reeks on the communities it exploits.
Yes indeed, the name is designed to make you miserable.
My child cried when he got a bar of this for his birthday, he's been having a hard time at school recently. When he opened this present, it opened the emotional wound in his heart. So yes you may be promoting ethical industry practices, but you are simultaneously spreading misery to children in the countries you supply.
P.S the product is as pathetic as it's name.

My partner and I bought 2 bars for the first time yesterday. 1x milk chocolate and hazelnut and 1x nougat milk almond, For the price we were expecting better, taste is of cheap bars from Lidl, will not be purchasing ever again. Will stick to Cadbury
Massive rip off
Massive rip off. Over priced with little actual chocolate in a massive packet. Wife was laughing at the "non" egg shape.
Feel really stupid to have bought it for the name. Avoid!
Disappointing and hugely overpriced
I saw a tv program before Easter where they were testing chocolate eggs and supposedly ranking on taste. Tony’s Belgian chocolate came in first place above Lindt. All I can say is their tastebuds must be used to processed rubbish.
I’m a big fan of quality chocolate, and having never heard it or tried Tony’s, and went and bought some. I wish I’d read the back of the packaging first.
To be call itself Belgian chocolate it’s supposed to have a minimum of 35% cocoa mass. Tony’s doesn’t have the taste or richness of Belgian chocolate - it tastes like a budget supermarket value packaged product. Reading the packaging explains why… main ingredient is sugar! Next on the list is milk powder. Milk solids only account for 21%.
Disappointing, overpriced, sugar filled rubbish. The only positive was the packaging which was all recyclable.
Disappointing shape
Disappointing shape. Chocolate wasn’t fresh due to lack of packaging. Expensive for what it was. I hope they take this feedback on board.
Tonys...you should be ashamed of yourselves
I think my email to Tonys says it all.
Absolutely fuming that I've been rippped off by this product and a self-proclaiming ethical company...
Dear Tony's
My kids have just unwrapped their Tony's Chocolonely Easter "eggs" and discovered they are not actually eggs, but some kind of weird flattened design in a horrendous amount of packaging.
The packaging, I presume is design to disguise the fact that you are ripping off your consumers.
I will never be buying another Tony's product again if this is the kind of deceit your company is promoting.
Together with this, the waste of resources in you packaging is disgusting.
I expect a response and refund.
Utterly apalling and you should be ashamed of your company.
Shockingly expensive poor quality…
Shockingly expensive poor quality chocolate for the money. I was persuaded to get an Easter egg for my daughter and I paid £10.50 which had 242g chocolate compared to your standard bar of 180g for £3. I was robbed!
So your standard bar is £16.67 per kilo whereas your Easter egg is £43.39 per kilo of chocolate. Your chocolate is exceedingly average anyway and certainly not worth paying 2.5 times more for it just because it's Easter.
Never again you thieving bar stewards.

Absolutely awful 😖 I love chocolate but tastes worse then cheap chocolate
Huge Easter egg box, small contents
Totally agree with other posters about the misleading Easter egg. I paid £8.50 for what looked like a large egg. Thought the packaging was a bit strange as you can usually see the size of the egg from the outside. There is a reason this is packaged like this. Tiny egg inside the huge box. I occasionally buy the chocolate bars but they are nothing special, and due to this we won't be purchasing again. It's important to have respect for customers.
Cheap
Cheap, barely edible garbage with lots of marketing and corporate spin. Its branding, brand-feel, name, packaging and literally everything about it, feels utterly vile.
They however have flooded the UK market and seem to be all that's available in most corner-shops.
Very disappointed with this chocolate…
Very disappointed with this chocolate just tastes like very cheap chocolate.
They say they are crazy about it well I'm not.
Not a patch on Cadbury's.
They try and justify the price saying they are into equality and fair trade.
Save your money and buy something else and if your concisions bothers you used some of the money you saved to give to charity but don't buy this.
I never will again.
My husband was away for the night
My husband was away for the night, so I jumped on the opportunity to try this chocolate that has been catching my eye every week in sainsburys. I thrived on the fact I didn't have to justify the price tag to the other half who would complain about spending an extra 10p on a block of cheese.......I got home unwrapped it, the anticipate was overwhelming me, but it is a shame the chocolate did not do the same. After the first bite I google it to make sure it wasn't an American brand as it tastes like a cheap bar I could buy from aldi (I wanted to put a body part but trust pilot wouldn't let me) I am all for ethics and supporting a good cause, but in return they have to provide a tasty treat to reflect the price tag
Rubbish customer service !!
I have tried to contact this company 5 times with ref to a complaint. This was via email, phone call and a letter.Having been promised my complaint would be a priority and be fed back to the Team and possibly be sent complementary chocolate........ no reply, This is extremely frustrating and I wont be promoting this product,
Rip Off
I thought I would treat myself to an easter egg and I could not have been more disappointed, 5 very small eggs and one larger one in loads of packaging. Was definitely expecting more chocolate for the money. Even then I might have forgiven them if the chocolate was delicious but sadly it tasted cheap and rather unpleasant. How they feel they can justify the price of this egg is beyond me. My advice would be save your cash

Purchased Easter egg to find its 90% packaging.
So poor when spending £12 on what is supposed to be ethical. Jokes
Just tastes like cheap chocolate
Just tastes like cheap chocolate, if you like the taste then I suggest you just buy the 50p Asdas own chocolate and save ya self a couple of quid😊
What is all the fuss about this…
What is all the fuss about this chocolate then!
£3 for something that doesn't taste any better than a 55p bar from Lidl.
What an absolute joke!
No wonder the shelves were full! I thought they'd just been restocked, but clearly it's down to the extortionate price.
High price doesn't mean high quality!
I can't see this company surving, unless they atleast half the sale prices.
It's a very, very competitive market, taste and price is everything.
