No delivery & Poor Communication
Placed a relatively small order for 2 shelving units and accessories. Although I was told the items were dispatched I still have not received them over a week later. Communication has been very limited. I have asked for a refund so hopefully that will be done without any further delays.

Shelving units
Orderd 3 units of shelving, all went well delivered on time and in good condition. I'm 83, but, managed to assess and assemble in about 2.5 hrs. Would definitely recommend this product and, Suffering.

A first class service from start to finish I was very impressed, I had a slight problem with one of the boxes being damaged in transit, a quick email to them was swiftly answered by Beth one of the Sales team who quickly sent out items that had damage, she is a credit to Tufferman.

The worst customer service
The worst customer service. They have a recorded phone message saying they’re available 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday, but it constantly says they’re busy. Items arrived damaged, late, and with missing parts. I can’t get hold of anyone and they won’t respond to emails. They don’t deliver on time even when you pay extra for a specific delivery slot. If you have this problem, I’d suggest contacting your bank and claiming a chargeback. They’re well known for scamming people. It wasn’t the first time my bank had dealt with them, and it was a doddle.

I was very disappointed in the quality of the product, the advert on TV says 3 bats for £120, it cost me a lot more than that for 2, I thought the quality would have been better, I will not be buying from Tufferman again, very disappointed

Tufferman Racking
This is the second time I have bought racking from Tufferman and each time the racking has arrived promptly. The racks themselves are excellent and exactly as described on their website.
Unfortunately, in the second delivery, one of the shelves had a damaged corner, but I contacted their customer support by email and received a prompt response apologising for the damage and stating that a replacement would be despatched on the next business day. I received it 2 days later. I would have no hesitation in recommending Tufferman to anyone looking racking.

Poor quality and customer service
Order messed up. Quality of paintwork on the metal was shocking and scratched. Shelves either scratched or corners damaged. Not sturdy and we have had to reinforce the shelving units. Reported to customer service but no reply to date. They are not as good as they represent themselves to be.

Clean your box out, drivers may vary
Price for individual items is fair, products weren't clean when they arrived - they're boxes going in a van so no biggie. The packaging had been lobbed around by the driver - not tuffermans problem but not great. The delivery was £25 or £30 for a nominated day, many of your competitors will do it for free. Happy with the tubs though, cheers.

Frank Hornby got it right with Meccano. This isn't!
Frank Hornby got it right with Meccano a century ago. As I once did myself, a small boy can line up 2 holes, put a bolt through, add a nut and tighten. Storalex/Tufferman emphasise no nuts or bolts, just tap together, - if only! Your TV ads give a totally misleading idea of how simple assembly is. In fact the two of us found it virtually impossible so I have ordered nuts and bolts and will have to drill the holes myself to put them through. The 0.5mm thick tabs are far too flimsy to stay lined up and for most shelves you have to get 8 tabs at once in exactly the right place on 4 separate planes while supporting the other end of the shelf over an arm's length away. Incredibly difficult, cannot possibly recommend, I wish I hadn't bought, and certainly if I ever need more shelves they will go together with nuts and bolts Never these again!

The shelving was packed well and the packaging easy to open. The instructions were clear and once unpacked and the parts laid out, it took me around 30 minutes to erect. It’s very sturdy and is exactly what I wanted.

Delivery didnt turn up as stated i had to drive 3 hour round trip to crewe to collect the racking as we had 5 guys booked in for a job the next day. The delivery company didnt even attempt to deliver as parcel was to heavy for there one man team. Costing me time and fuel ive not received a apology off anyone.
