The only place to go when choosing carpets
From choosing my carpets right down to the fitting everything was amazing. Such a fabulous choice and excellent prices. I only ever go here for my carpets and would definitely recommend them. Elton the manager is always very helpful and nothing is too much trouble.

Knowledgeable staff
Staff were knowledgeable. Their advice was useful and helpful in making my decisions. I was happy with the price although some elements could have been made more transparent, but overall happy with my purchase and the service provided.

I’m delighted with my new bedroom…
I’m delighted with my new bedroom carpet. The purchase was easy with a very helpful salesman advising me when my first choice worked out too expensive. He was able to compromise and I got a good deal. The fitters were absolutely lovely. So helpful and polite. Helped load the old carpet in to my car for disposal. Everything done and left tidy within an hour! I’d certainly go back to United Carpets & Beds. Great local store.

I was very pleased how the carpet was…
I was very pleased how the carpet was fitted in my bedroom. The fitters moved the contents that were in my bedroom. The bedside cabinets were very very heavy. I don't expect the fitters to hoover not at all but the bits from the carpet was just left in piles and then they put the cabinet on top of the bits instead of trying to gather them in sections so I had to move the cabinets myself which was a job and a half to get the bits up from the carpet. I was not pleased at all.

After care of vinyl
Lovely people.. wish I had been advised on cleaning of the vinyl before purchase. No bleach, warm water not hot as it will melt.. we had to go around afterwards and seal the vinyl with clear silicone, as if any water gets down skirting then it will ruin the vinyl and we had it laid in our bathroom lol. Nice finish by the fitters. Thank you.

We visited the shires room and decided…
We visited the shires room and decided on some carpet. We were told that the fitters would come at 9.30 am because our house was within a mile of the store. I arranged to take the day off to be at the house on time and at 9.25, I got a call from the fitters saying they'll be coming at 4 pm. They said the shop shouldn't have given us a time but they did. Do I lost a day at work, which wasn't ideal. Other than that, all was well
