Dear Dr Mazhude,

We are sorry that you were not happy with the service provided.
Your case was investigated and hope the following responds accordingly to the points mentioned:

1. Upon our initial call out our engineer confirmed the issue to be with the thermostat for which we provided a fixed price and was able to proceed but had not been able to get hold of you. For this reason the thermostat had been linked out for a temporary measure. The minimum charge was applied for the temporary measure.

2. Upon approval of the thermostat replacement (some time after the initial call) a 50% deposit was requested.

3. Our appointments were made and for unforseen circumstances there were delayed given the festive period. We are sorry that you had experienced the two delays but had got the thermostat installed. Our aim is to limit delays as much as possible but often jobs run over and we do not leave customers with unfinished works.

4. Please accept our sincere apologies that you felt our customer service team did not respond appropriately as it took quite some time leading up to getting the final payment of the accepted works that were completed. Our payment terms are upon completion as stated originally.

All your concerns have been noted to enable to our management team to improve services for future customers.

Dear Ms Benson,

We were disappointed to have received the rating.
Since, we had a look into your case and believe there was a miscommunication on what this quote included.
It appears that the quote received was only including accessing and fixed the leak whereas the quote we provided was to carry out all the remedial works as well as the repair.
Our quote included all aesthetics works - i.e. new plasterboarding , flooring and decorating.

Hope this sheds some light for you and others.

Dear Alex,

We are sorry to have ready such dissatisfaction based on your experience with us.
Our team have investigated your case to enable us to response accordingly.

Our aim is to diagnose as quickly as as possible to enable repair - on this occasion it was found that the inner flu was leaking through into the air duct and dripping inside the boiler.
We showed you the gaps within the flu system - this is immediately dangerous hence shutting of the supply. We have photos of this and as Gas Safe Engineers we have a duty of care to ensure we leave the boiler in safe condition.

Only the gas boiler was capped to enable usage of other gas appliances.

We hope the alternative contractors have carried out works that were required in accordance to safety regulations. In any case, we are still here if you need any further information.

Our team have looked into your case alongside the comments on your review.

We have simply carried out general servicing of the boiler - no guarantees would be applied to servicing in any industry.
We do not warranty a full boiler system following a general annual service.

Our twelve month warranty applies to repairs completed including parts and labour relating to that particular repair.
