Crooks!
Called them because the overflow pipe was running, thought I needed a new ball valve for the storage tank. They sent two guys who confirmed it was a faulty ball valve on the storage tank and replaced it.
Because it was two plumbers they charged me £308! I was annoyed because they sent 2 guys to do a 1 person job thus resulting in me having to pay double. But it got worse, a month later the overflow pipe started running again and only then did I realise that was actually the rain gutter overflow pipe! Now maybe I should have seen that first time but I’m pretty sure these two guys knew from the start as decided to scam me for over £300.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. Read all the bad reviews beforehand, because I’ll bet they wrote the good reviews themselves.

Be careful, be very careful
Had to call in an electrician to fix a fault in our kitchen sockets.
The electrician turned up, dismantled the kitchen, he cut holes in our cupboard senselessly for 3 hours to find the issue, with no care of the ultimate state of the kitchen. He then left without fixing the whole problem because "he had no time on that day". He left an absolute mess and we are stuck with no plugs in the kitchen. No understanding, compassion or discount from the company.
The only way to fix it is by paying another £295 for a 2nd group of technicians to come and fix it. What a mess.
Be careful, be very careful with this company.

I wish I had read the less than positive reviews before I used Wefixnow, but you don't have to repeat the mistake that I did.This is a very underhand company.
In the early hours of Friday June 5, 2019 I rang to get a quote to connect a live gas feed to a newly installed meter. It wasn't an emergency job. It was estimated to be a 30 minute operation and was quoted £80 'including VAT'. Payment would be taken when the engineer arrived at the premises. It was mentioned that if the work rolled over beyond that time the cost would be a charged at a full hourly rate. Any cost for parts/materials would also be chargeable. I agreed. The appointment was fixed for between 10:00 am and 12 noon that same day.
However, at 10:22 (there's a record of the calls received and made on my phone) I received a call informing me that the engineers were sruck on a job and were not able to make the scheduled appointment. Instead, a new time of between15:00 and 17:00hrs was set. I agreed, reluctantly. At 16:23 PM I received another call to inform me that the engineers were on their way but stuck in traffic.
The time was 16:36 when I received a further call, but this was the payment request for the imminent works. I duly paid (over the phone by credit card) £80. However, 20 minutes later I received yet another call, and this is when they sprung their carefully laid, late-in-the-day trap: I was asked for a further £80 payment for an hour's work. It had just come to light that the work involved a meter.
I challenged this: I had pointed out that a meter was involved when I asked for a quotation. the engineers had not arrived so this wasn't the operatives' judgement regarding the complexity or otherwise of the job, but back office involvement and interference. Apparently, ALL jobs involving work with the gas meter are automatically levied at an hour's rate. They were 'sorry' I hadn't been informed when I booked the job (the first of three 'I'm sorry's). By definition all gas works will involve some reference to the meter. Therefore, it should be quoted upfront!
It was close to the end of the afternoon (four minutes before Five PM), and although I was offered the 'choice' to cancel the job and a refund on that first payment, they had me by the short and curlies - and they knew it. I wasn't going to secure another engineer that late in to the day. Circumstances meant I had to pay.
The engineers did arrive (shortly after 17:00hrs), and whilst the records will show their work lasted past the 30 minute mark, the records will not tell whether the work was subsequently drawn out because I had now voiced my objections and was known to be monitoring events.
I was charged a fee for a minor part and safety chain were fitted, which formed a third payment (this was highlighted when I was quoted the job at the start, so I have no complaints on that score). But this company deliberately spun me into a position where I was backed into a late-in-the-day corner, where they picked my pocket.
I asked why there was no price list on their website, and received the helpful reply 'We don't put prices on the site'. Even that inadequte response can't explain why there's no reference to the 'meter related work incurs an automatic hourly rate' warning.
I'm going to refer this matter to BBC Radio Four's consumer affairs programme, You and Yours; the consumer rights organisation, Which and the Financial Services Authority (FSA). I paid with a Visa credit card and am now taking up the issue with my credit card company. I will also post my experience and name and shame this company on Trust a Trader portal. They cannot be allowed to get away with tricking their way into people's hard earned money.
The Wefixnow.co.uk website was first registered in 2010.That's plenty of time to post something clear and simple about the structure of their charges. How many others have been deliberately stung like this over almost a decade?
You can ignore my experience and use this company's services, or you can freely harvest my very bitter experience and go elsewhere.
We Fix Now extracted an additional £80 from my wallet (plus two lots of VAT which were never mentioned at the time of the booking - the cost was said to be inclusive). But I'm far from done with this company. It's going to be the most expensive free money they ever tricked their way out of.

Can’t trust them!
They come to check our boiler and they said we have to change couple of parts what cost more than a 1000£... my landlord said it’s too much so he sent another engineer who fixed it for less than 600 including the part changes but there was only one part to change! Probably in my case they tried to cheat me with other parts to change!

Great service from the electrician we had, would use again if needed. He was very friendly and told me what work was needed before starting and let me know what progress he was making so I knew an estimated finish. Fair price for an emergency call out as well

Electrical team Paul and Brian were friendly and extremely professional. Keep customers aware of issues and are fully on the job. Sunday late afternoon calls are expensive but leave you sorted with no need to take 1/2 day off the next day just to fix your burnt fuse. I do highly recommend the team and services.
Call center very reactive and keep you informed of potential arrival delays.

competent and extremely professional
After a really difficult day, using a plumber I found on Tradeheroes (or whatever) it is called, he messed up my toilet, he came back no more than 4 times in a space of 9 hours, each time creating a bigger problem, Leaving the job half done and nothing was working. Yes wefixitnow is expensive, but I do not mind paying for a job that is completed competently. the lady who answered the phone was really polite and reassuring, calling me back quickly, the plumbers Dean and Paul (think thats them), were a good couple of people, and came across as specialists, they resolved the issue in no time, I would like to thank all of you for fixing the toilet and rectifying the water blockage issue. I fully appreciate it, and it cleared what was a very stressful day.

Very good service
Very good service. I have had work done by this company for many years now. I always have very good work done by all the Engineers, Electricians, Plumbers etc that we have had to do our various jobs that have needed doing. Very pleased with our new storage heater. It is nice to have heating again in our hallway. Thankyou very much to the Electrician who put our new heater in. He did a very good job. I would recommend this company to everyone. Many thanks once again.
