We Fix Now Ltd (David Fisher Electrican)

We Fix Now Ltd: David Fisher arrived and put our minds to ease at 9.15pm . Then told us we need to change our 3 transformer which were burning out. D F . Came back after BH. on 24th April 2019 at 12.30, and put in electric saving light bulbs for Bathroom and Kitchen.
Was very noligable in what he was doing and clean up after himself.
David Fisher***** is the reason why i will be passing his name and We Fix Now Ltd on to my friends and family

do not use this company!

I do not recommend this company.
My boiler was down, I had a code F75 that kept coming despite me adding back pressure. I had mentioned to the engineer that I always managed to reset the boiler (meaning that the pump was working) – but that it would stop working after a while.
They sent me a gas engineer who stayed just 10 minutes (did not due all the proper checks, did not even open the boiler ) – reset it, told me it was due to some air in the system and left. This cost me 95£. But 1h after the engineer left the code reappeared. I called back the company who instead of recognizing that the engineer should have been a bit more thorough – told me that he would come back to do some "further investigation", but that this would cost me again 95£.
He came – and this time opened the boiler – looked at it and because there was some calcair on the pump, told me we had to change the pump and the sensor switch (whereas the boiler was only 5 years old). The following day, I received a quote for 840£ for this job (whereas the price of the pump + switch was less than 200£). When I asked for some explanation, I was just told they were doing fix quotes. I decided to call another gas engineer who was recommended by a friend. He told me that the quote for the same job should be no more than £450 (which was also what I got from British gas). But he wanted to reassess the situation and give its own diagnostic (he also called Vaillant during the visit - just to get a second advice). It was a good thing, as in the end – only the switch needed to be changed (which costed me 200£).
Don’t use this company, they don’t do a proper job – and will just try to get money out of you (by coming several times, and making you pay for works which are not required)!

A very polite and helpful gentleman Mac…

A very polite and helpful gentleman Mac came to sort out our leak, it was difficult due to the old lead piping but he was calm and courteous each time, giving useful advice. Although sadly the leak is proving persistent.

I had David

I had David.F coming to my flat to fix my kitchen light. The quote was £256.40 but he recommended me a LED light replacement which only costs me £15 and £85 labour in total of £100 and saving of £156.40. He did a brilliant job with professionalism by filling the holes with filler on the ceiling. Excellent service, I'm really satisfied. He really went the extra mile.

The service is expensive but that is…

The service is expensive but that is expected in London and for the out of hours work so I was not surprised. But the whole experience was very good. David arrived at my property within an hour of opening the ticket. He was brilliant, fixed what was broken and provided me with further advise. he was super friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Thank you David!

Saturday afternoon scare but managed well

It's 3.00pm on a Saturday and you are looking forward to an evening in with a lovely meal. Then you notice the tumble drier has stopped working. Further exploration revealed a wet kitchen floor and then, worse, we could hear the sound of dripping water. A torchlight found a pipe with water spurting out behind the kitchen units. I am not skilled in any of this so we rushed to find a emergency plumber to help. I was concerned about potential rogue traders and the rising costs but the local directory had We Fix Now in it so I made a call. Someone was with us within the hour. There were additional problems about stop cocks and the like but the two guys were great, knowledgeable and reassuring. Yes, it did cost several hundred pounds but this was made clear at the outset. But it was fixed and we were given additional info that the leak was probably a month or so old so it was spotted and fixed before it could get worse. Thank you.

The electrician who came

The electrician who came - Vince - was fast, clean and efficient.
Fixed my fuse and hung me two heavy ceiling lights that I was doing myself that caused the trip. Expensive but good.

Friendly and efficient from start to finish

I've had two dealings with WeFixNow, and both times the service was excellent. Everyone I spoke to on the phone (including Siobhan, Mischa and Victoria) were very friendly and efficient. I received text messages to keep me and my tenants informed when the plumber had been dispatched, and they called when they said they would call. Small things but these are so important to customers and so often overlooked, so full marks for getting it right!!
Ken Bowden, the plumber, was very friendly and helpful in both his advice and his work, and - importantly - punctual. I would use WeFixNow again and I would recommend them to friends.

Contractor was excellent and did a good…

Contractor was excellent and did a good professional job.
My only issue is the price. I was told it was £85 for a visit but when he arrived I was informed it was £85 per half hour.
The job took 40 mins and therefore cost £170 which seems expensive.

£370 for a 12-minute job

Late night call so I knew I'd have to pay premium rates. There was a quick mention of a 1/2-hour min. charge & that the pre-payment was just a deposit, which led me to believe that it would be part-refundable depending on the amount of time spent and materials used.

In the end, the job involved sticking two probes to the hot water tank's electrics and tightening two pipe connectors. All done in a matter of 12 minutes. The min. turned out to be one full hour. Final cost?: £370.

Incredibly, the 1st eng. had already concluded that I had just run out of hot water yet the 2nd eng. was adamant that the system had to be drained and heating elements changed as soon as poss.

I asked for consideration and discount the day after. I got short shrift but then got two sales calls later, in one of which they agreed to give me a £185 discount -- but, wait -- only if I was to go ahead with the recommended works.

I still have to get rid of this foul, metallic taste in my mouth. So, No. Actually, Never. Again....... Ever.

No power owing to electrical tripping

Our electric tripped. Organising the visit was easy and the handler was helpful and efficient. David F came exact as scheduled and was polite and even showed me how to trouble shoot for any repeat experience.
The call out charge is not cheap if you call them out overnight but we paid £95 for an hour’s work . It was an emergency for us and our usual electrician could not make it so I though this was reasonable.
Really useful company for emergencies.

100% professional plumber who sorted…

100% professional plumber who sorted out my problem swiftly & informatively after 2 previous visits from other plumbers that failed to sort out the problem (one was from we fix it)
I cant recommend the company as it all depends on which company or plumber they have available to send out. I will however in future only request the person/company.
Having said that, I will definitely be using We Fix It Now for all my future problems as from the 1st phone call to the follow up they are very professional

With regards to the previous visit that we attended November 2018, our plumber tested the WC and all was working fine. However, on our recent visit the plumber used the same equipment as previous but with further testing using a camera a small plastic object was found lodged far down which was causing the blockage. Telling how long this object has been down there is not possible to say.

Promoting a professional service to all our customer is important at Wefixnow and we appreciate your positive feedback on this. Also as a returning customer we aim to offer a high standard from the booking process to the dispatch of the engineer.

complete rip off!!!! Stay away from these cowboys. Rude and aggressive

Sent engineer for water running hot and cold

He spent 2 hours bleeding the radiator and then said it was the heat exchange. Wasn't able to fix and issued an at risk certificate.

Two hours later my boiler is leaking water all over the carpets and electricity tripped as a result. I called a different boiler - who came and sorted the problem.

I was charged £170 for 1 hours work where they made the problem worse. Complete incompetence. When I refused to pay the charge for doing nothing but ruining my carpet - i was issued with a solicitors letter.

Completely classless set-up.
Avoid at all costs!!!

We are sorry to hear that you were not happy with the service our teams provided.
Our team have had communication with you on this case.
Given the concerns you raised, our team has investigated your case, we hope the following responds accordingly to the points raised:

1. Our tracking system has confirmed our engineer was onsite for 1 hour.

2. During our visits, a number of checks and tests were completed on the boiler system. There were multiple leaks on the system, which were identified. As you correctly mentioned, one of the components leaking was the heat exchanger. However, there were other components also at fault. Due to water saturation, we advised what was required - However due to the issue with costs, we were refused more time to make safe i.e. drain system.

3. We were advised that you had an alternative engineer attend and confirmed our engineer had mis-diagnosed. As a result our team were keen to get this looked into - you sent the alternative report.
The alternative contractor's report confirmed our diagnosis as being correct.
They were unable to make the repairs but made safe. Of course, we would have done exactly that.

4. The leak from the system is as a result of the defective items we advised.

Our charges apply for our time onsite carrying out assessments and tests, our diagnosis was correct as confirmed by the alternative contractor and our team are simply charging for the time you approved onsite.
