Excellent service from start to finish, with my being advised on the type of carpet to lay in my hallway, to the fitter arriving promptly, and doing an excellent job.
I highly recommend using them, and I shall 100% be there again, as I have a further 4 rooms that require carpet upgrade.
Fitters were really early on the day they said and the fitting was first class. We are really pleased
Great range of carpets and a special mention for Mark at Rotherham branch who was extremely helpful. He made the experience easy instead of stressful!
Don't bother they use rude contractors who you pay separately anything goes wrong they already have your money and blame you for thier incompetents not once did thier estimater their staff in house or the fitter make us aware of doors not shutting after installation then the fitter lied saying they don't know how to sort the issue then say they can for a further £120 luckily one door did not close could of been 6 doors at £120 each = £720
Look up the law consumer rights act 2015 because they never once informed us about door issues ( on 3 occasions ) They are liable by LAW but blame you.

Under consumer protection laws (such as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in the UK), installers are expected to work with reasonable care and skill, which includes anticipating door clearance issues.
Here is a breakdown of liability and next steps:
Who is Responsible?
The Installer: If the installer measured the space, or should have known that the new flooring thickness would affect the door, they are responsible for either adjusting the door or informing you that a carpenter would be required.
The Supplier: If you bought the flooring and installation as a single package from a retailer, they are responsible for the entire, functional job.
The Homeowner: If you specifically requested a thick flooring type (e.g., solid wood over underlay) and rejected advice to cut the doors, you may be liable. However, if no advice was given, the onus is on the tradesman.
We didn't get advice to reject
I will never deal with this company ever again. GO ELSEWHERE.
Citizens advice is next (what a hassle) then Trading standards. 😔

All the team were really kind and helpful. The fitters were respective of my property and removed their shoes on entering.
The cost was reasonable too. I would recommend them to all my family and friends!
There was plenty of choice,all the carpets etc where set out well,which made it easy to see all the varieties. The staff were very helpful & knowledgeable,we were given great advice about what product to have & the best way in which it would be laid.It was great to find a family run business with such friendly staff.The fitter who came out to fit our vinyl flooring was very professional & made a wonderful job of laying the flooring.I would recommend Wilsons Carpets to anyone who either just wants advice or wants a great service & great quality products.5*

Everything was easy got my flooring at a great price and the staff were very helpful
Good experience from the start, measuring up and quote ,very helpful guy in the shop, good Communication, love the product and the fitter was very good.
Sales staff were very helpful. Advised us on the perfect carpet for our needs. Was not pushy in the slightest. On the day of installation there was a little faff with the fitters due to some personal issues. However the shop staff moved heaven and earth to ensure a fitter would arrive the same day, which they did.
Update: despite the reply saying they hope to help. I received an email the same day to a different effect saying they couldn’t progress the claim without information.
Just a word of warning, some of the answers I was told I’d need to provide are:
Whether glue was used, and if so, what type was employed.
Subfloor construction: was concrete levelled prior to the installation?
The manufacturer also requires images to display the expansion gap that was left.
Just something to bear in mind.
My LVT floor cracked after only 18 months of being laid. Wilson’s refused to honour the 2 year warranty due to the fact that I was unable to answer questions as to how the floor was laid, bearing in mind it was one of their contractors that fit the floor. Unfortunately it seems an easy get out for them to not honour a warranty.

Don’t bother buying from Wilson’s carpets total waste of time sell cheap substandard save your self some money shop elsewhere our bedroom carpet was creased from the word go and Wilson’s in Lincoln’s reply was we will give you discount on a future purchase no help what’s so ever

Jane at handsworth carpet shop is brilliant she listens to what you want and recommends what you need nothing is too much for her
Great service both in the shop and with the fitting.
Everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable. So thank you very much.
This is my 3rd time using Wilson’s carpets and been brilliant every time not just on price but customer service as well highly recommend to anyone who needs carpets no messing about they just get the job done thank you
