Picked the carpet i wanted from the website, loads of choice in colours and textures. The price was really good. Ordered my carpet and underlay on line and was given delivery timescale at the till. My order arrived within 5 days. I was kept updated with delivery time and the delivery people rang me when they were 30 minutes away from the house. The carpet looks lovely and is good quality. We fitted it ourselves as we've done before. Very satisfied with Wilsons carpets service. Highly recommended for the good quick service .

Vicky, the shop assistant, was on hand to offer great advice without being overbearing. She sorted out a problem, dealing with it efficiently and to my benefit.
The carpet fitters came on time and did a great job.
I was very happy with the choice of carpets and with the one I chose. I was also very surprised at the quote which was much less than I had thought.
More important to me than this though, was the way that both Vicky and the fitter had shown that their customer service was built on care and integrity. I will certainly be visiting again in the future.

Had carpets fitted from Scunthorpe branch, store staff were really good, but it seems service goes downhill once they get your money! the fitters did not even clean up after themselves saying 'we don’t offer this service'.
So we had to clean up the whole house ourselves late into the night. Totally ruined our new house move for us. Would not use again!
For the premium prices paid there are better ones out there.

Sold me a carpet (not fit for purpose) they had given me the wrong size so after I had fully cleared my room, waited in all day for the fitters I am told they can't do it. No replacement, no fitting = nowhere to sleep.
Customer service Shocking (to say the least) Never Ever Again!!!!
After reading other reviews were customers have been unsatisfied, the response has been a Joke. "We are sorry, please get in touch" They couldn't be less sorry if they tried. I did get in touch and are basically told they are not doing anything to rectify the problem. Bravo Wilsons 👏

The staff in the show roon where amazing,informative and helpful. Unfortunately the fitters were not. We purchased laminate flooring. The boards were cut over a tool box with a jigsaw. After they had finished some of the flooring was not cut correctly the spacing was too big so we asked if they could replace them which they did. The lead fitter talked us in to having the edge of the laminate flooring to be siliconed so it matched the flooring in the other rooms unfortunately this was done and it is really messy, still some of tge flooring around the sink is not cut correctly. They tidied up after them selves but they have scratched the paint on the skirting boards, dirty hand prints on the newly painted walls. We are now going to repair the decorating they have damaged and replace the silicone around the edges .we would buy from Wilsons again but employ our own fitters

The installation was incomplete due to not enough materials. Once our independent installer did the skirting boards realised there was not enough beading meterial

I’m extremely disappointed with both the quality of the floor fitting and the way Wilson’s have handled our complaint.

From the start, the fitters did not appear to know what they were doing. What should have been a straightforward installation ended up taking two extra days beyond what we were originally told, with little confidence shown throughout the job. Even while they were working, it was obvious they were struggling and improvising rather than fitting the floor properly.

The finished result is completely unacceptable. There are poorly cut edges around door frames, visible gaps, exposed metal fittings, damaged threshold strips, rough unfinished cuts, loose trim/beading, and obvious damage to surrounding areas. Some of the cuts are so poor they’ve left large visible gaps and exposed fixings. This is supposedly professional flooring installation, but the workmanship says otherwise.

The photos speak for themselves — this is the standard of work Wilson’s are happy to leave customers with.

To make matters worse, after raising a complaint we were promised a callback today, which never came. When my wife chased them, she was simply fobbed off and told they “hadn’t received the complaint,” despite the issue already being reported.

The most disappointing part is not just the poor workmanship, but the complete lack of accountability afterwards. Once payment is taken, customer service seems to disappear.

We paid for professional fitting and received a rushed, careless job that now needs correcting. I would strongly advise anyone considering Wilson’s to think very carefully before using them.

Included the evidence on google review for Leeds store. They have left significant damage to a brand new kitchen.

I recently purchased a carpet remnant from this store and was very pleased with the service I received. The staff were friendly, helpful and took the time to discuss my requirements without any pressure. The carpet was excellent value and the whole experience was straightforward and professional. I was particularly impressed by the helpfulness and flexibility shown by the team in helping me get my purchase home. I would happily recommend them to others.
