shockingly bad took xpertdelivery quote through Shiply

Xpert wanted and received payment in full up front
Agreed pick up date and time slot
Received two texts within 10 seconds of each other 1st confirming pick up within the next 30 minutes
2nd cancelling the pick up.

From then on it just gets stupid

Promised there will a new pick up date and two days notice will be given

3 days later still getting the same message so cancelled the job and asked for a refund

Received reply promising refund within 5 to 7 days

11 working days later after sending them emails still no refund and no reply to emails

Have now informed them

I will be taking legal action next monday its friday now

Money claim online makes this a very easy process

Avoid Xpertdelivery like the Sh***y end of a stick

DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE OF CHOOSING THIS COMPANY.

I have had a nightmare with this courier company. There were several issues with them. I will highlight the main ones:
- They came to collect the furniture on three different occasions and each time did not have enough space to load the van so they kept having to reschedule.
- They finally collected the furniture after a month after I booked with Shiply.
- When they finally delivered my goods I was concerned when the courier opened the van doors. The van was loaded with items all over the van without any blankets or straps.
- When my expensive sideboard was pulled out I noticed all the wooden handles were broken!
- When helping to unload the van the courier dropped his side and the sideboard smashed on the concrete ground.

The wooden legs split and the side and bottom split. The damage was not fixable. After this, the courier did not apologise once and he said it was not his fault because the sideboard slipped out of his hands!

Terrible Company, Please Avoid them.
I was lured in by Shiply on a Ebay purchase.
They did collect my Items in Coventry from the Ebay seller.
After that they took my goods to a warehouse in Willenhall, called Bargain Vans. WV13 3BS.
20 days I chased them for a delivery date.
Only means of communication is through an online chat portal. They give generic answers to avoid committing to providing genuine useful information.
Eventually I couldn't wait anymore listening to their lies, I drove from Scotland and collected the goods myself, a 12 hour round trip drive.
I confronted the warehouse manager and he admitted that they were supposed to send goods out after a week, but could not explain why my good were sitting there for 3 weeks. If you want to call the ware house manager try 01902 457000
I raised a case with PayPal and Shiply and got a refund for delivery costs. But that still left me out of pocket for the cost of me collecting the goods myself.
To make matters worse there was physical damage to my goods caused by them.
This company is essentially an illegal operation and should be excluded from Shiply's approved contractors.
Defiantly avoid them, I think any positive reviews must be Fake.

Absolutely dreadful. Couldn't find collection location- although as obvious as it can be. Four missed delivery slots (and one previously cancelled slot where the van still arrived... but empty). Truly dreadful communication- slow, no calls / no number. Delivery a week slower than promised. Delivered to the wrong place. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

After confirming my availability for a delivery slot, I waited THREE HOURS yesterday evening for a delivery which never arrived. No notification, no order update - not by SMS, not on the tracking link - and no phone number to contact to find out where the delivery was.
I contacted the sender and was told that the drivers turned up an hour earlier that the pick-up slot on Wednesday and then said they couldn't come at the actual BOOKED time, so would have to delay pick-up until today (Friday). It was only by speaking to the sender direct that I was actually able to go to bed, as I was forced to select a delivery slot which ran past 10pm in the evening. I sent two emails, including a complaint to Xpert Delivery last night and absolutely no response as of today, even though it's a week day. The items also STILL have not been collected - as the tracking link says there was a failed pick-up again today. I honestly would not trust this company at all.

The company said the van had been stolen but could or would not give us any details. Derbyshire Police are aware as well as Trading Standards.

An absolute joke!! I was trying to contact them numerous times regarding my delivery as Ive received information that my item will be delivered outside business opening hours. No reply, couldn’t reschedule as the link provided didn’t work. They did what they want, just dumped my stuff by the reception door and shoot off. Not safe at all could of been stolen over night. Avoid

I had a garden furniture set delivery today from these couriers, it was my first time using this type of service and I have been very pleasantly surprised. From start to finish the service was very fairly priced, professional and I was kept updated at every stage. I would highly recommend this service and would definitely use in future.
