I had a call from Sophie at the Paignton Branch to check I was happy with my ISA I had set up online and to see if she could help with anything further. I thought it was great customer care, she was very friendly and helpful and gave me a direct number moving frwd if I needed further information.

The process of opening a new online…
The process of opening a new online account was simple and straightforward.
The only issue I had was having to wait 10 days to receive my customer number which I needed to access the account. However, this was most likely a Royal Mail issue rather than a YBS issue.

A proper building society that seems to care more about its customers and community than profits. Offers competitive rates and delivers on promises including an actual working app that's not too complicated. Well done.
