No longer want any financial connection with YBS…
I have received nothing but appalling service and more worrying incorrect advice over the past week.
I was informed my cash isa status for this tax year would remain active following an emergency withdrawal.
Unfortunately this is not the case.
I have raised a complaint. No response yet. Cannot say I am surprised

Unfortunately, if you have closed a fixed rate ISA, these are not flexible accounts, which is why it is important not to commit funds that may be required during the year.
If you have registered a complaint, the Customer Relations Team will contact you in due course, and you will receive a final written response in no more than eight weeks.

Trying to sort out care funds for my…
Trying to sort out care funds for my dad. I have an LPA in place. Unfortunately visited the Chester branch twice. First time understood that I didn’t have the information they requested so returned a second time with the information requested from their print off. Still not adequate.
The teller stepped away and whispered to her manager who didn’t even take the time to walk over and explain the issue - and they were not busy. I was offered a second print out of the same information.
It is a very stressful time for us and they couldn’t have made the visits more uncomfortable and lacking in compassion and empathy for our situation.
Very disappointed with the service and advice given. My dad has been a loyal customer for many years. I would have at least appreciated the manager explaining why the first information I was given was insufficient.
